All that was just an excuse.....if Defne knew she that she was developing feelings for Omer then she should of come clean.....I respect the Turkish way of living but unnecessary stress that is put on the kids is just ridiculous....her useless brother was a grown man who basically lived off of his sister and his biased grandmother....those people used defne in the name of family......I felt no emotion for Defne because she allowed everyone to manipulate her. .. when would she hve actually thought for herself or take a stand?.....she spent months confusing Omer and then whined when things went bad.....she gave meriman to much power over her so her emotional suffering was well deserved.

​@@sandrajohnson4778although I do agree with the fact that defne gave way to much power to neriman if we think stray defne is just a simple country girl who was abandoned by her parents and brought up for an ingnorant and abusive old woman so she just did not deserve all that pain and mental abuse from all that weeked people

@@sandrajohnson4778 The saying walk a mile in my shoes rings true here. Serda told Omer later in the series that Defne didn’t think she deserved to be loved. He also told him that how they grew up they were used to being rejected. I believe it was the episode when Serda went to Omer’s house to talk with him after Omer bought the house for them so they wouldn’t be evicted.

Why I am like them 😂. Bottling up my feelings until it's too late and then getting angry. Also anti social like Ömer. Also holding onto people even if it's toxic like Yasemin. Also to answer the query you care and cherish about people and they will do the same for you like Defne's grandmother, brother and more. But if I love someone like Defne, I would definitely confess my feelings no matter how much time it takes but before it's too late.

Sinan is more emotional than Ömer until now. But his behavior depends on the circumstances he is in.

But Defne was the only one that talks back to Omer when everyone else is a yes person to Omer. Omer is changing ,because of Defne that why he says calm down to himself, or what is happening to me. Defne is bringing is better side out . Before Omer yelled to everyone. Defne is in love with Omer , but it confusing to her. They both had relationships before but never felt this way like there feeling with each other . It is true love they have , but both are confused. Plus Defne is in this game omer aunt put her in. Defne brother was in trouble with the mob and they were going to kill him if they did not get money. Omer aunt saw omer kiss Defne at the restaurant so she look her up Defne back ground knew she owe money and gave money to Defne to get her brother out of not being killed. The game was Defne get Omer to love her marry her than Defne divorce him so the aunt gets the inheritance from omer grandfather. Defne thought she would never fall in love with omer and omer would never fall in love with Defne . They’re both total opposite, and Defne does not want to go through with no more because she fall in love with omer and does not want to tell him his aunt is doing this to him .

She also told Necmi that when they were sitting in the garden. Defne only had to seduce Ömer into marriage and then leave. Neriman thinks that Ömer would not fall in love with Defne because he only loved his work and did not think about falling in love. That was her misjudgment. Ömer had actually developed feelings for Defne.

Why should she? She is only his PA and she had reason to be angry. She had to swallow the humiliations of Yasemin and Derya while Ömer did it knowingly.

​@namiirosherine5407 Sinan was swooning over that mean Yasemin; now it's Defne. He is in on Neriman's plan so he is really not a nice person. He was OK with being manipulative until he started to fall for Defne.

But he doesn't know that Ömer also has feelings for Defne. And because of Derya's earlier comment, he has now become obsessed with Defne.

@@ilsea31 He is either not paying attention or insensitive. Even Omer was concerned at the beginning because of his friendliness with Defne, that there was maybe something going on between them. You say someone is your childhood friend, you know his pain and struggles, you know how he has held himself off from connections, you even have the selfish audacity to ask him a couple of times if he was in love... who with 🤔. He knew Omer was developing feelings for Defne, or at least sensed it and chose to ignore. If nothing at all, he knew the back story with Defne/Omer [Omer's aunt and the arrangement] and that alone should have made him put his puppy love feeling in check

So he was under the wrong impression that they had nothing to do with each other. In addition, Neriman's intention was that there should only be a marriage but no love on Defne's part. Ömer would continue with his work, she would get the mansion and Defne would disappear from their lives. ​ Exactly my point. Why go about asking questions if he didn't have any suspicion or sense that the two were developing more than work related feeling for each other. He could sense/see it and decided to ignore because it wasn't what he wanted. Necmi saw it and knew. If he was truly a friend and not subconsciously jealous of Omer, he should have even told him about the arrangement when they let him in on it, like Omer told him about Yasemin spending the night at his place.

Neriman was not concerned about falling in love or not. She was not concerned about Defne's feelings or even Ömer's. She wanted to prevent Hulusi from selling that house and that could only happen through Ömer's marriage. Defne would be fired by Ömer and her story would continue with someone else with whom she would experience her miracle. But how she would eventually pay back the amount to Neriman is another miracle because that would not be possible with the salary of a waitress who also had to take care of a whole family. Neriman determined the rules of how the game would continue each time. Or as Necmi said: she held the cards in her hands and determined what would happen so that she always wins. Sinan became obsessive when he wanted to tell Defne about his feelings. Defne did not notice that and until he stood in front of her that evening, she did not notice Ömer's feelings either.

@@maryannbedell1474 He will definitely pay Neriman back the money or at least get her to write it off. Although, he might also tell Defne to go and never see her again, which is what Defne is truly afraid of. I think though, that he would be angry initially, but he would have understood and still loved Defne regardless. She was just being too afraid of not been loved by him is why she let it drag for that long before telling him. Also, I was super annoyed with her. If she knew she couldn't but tell him, why did she wait until the most inopportune time, their wedding day, to confess? I think maybe subconsciously, she wanted to self sabotage.

Neither Defne nor Sükrü told him how Yasemin and Derya treated Defne. So he doesn't know. On what basis would he fire them?

I saw the original 202 episodes and Sukru did tell which they cut and it would be the same reason as when Yasimin got fired - when Defne threw water in her face

@@lynettemippy1639 The original is 69 episodes in Turkish. Sükrü told Defne that he thought she was sick. He usually saw her when she came to make breakfast. But that night she stayed over because Ömer thought it was late to let her go out alone while she was so upset.

@@ilsea31everyone thinks he has women all the time , but reality he is a loner , but lets them assume he does. Omer been a loner for a long time . All Omer cares about is his business. Since Defne came into the picture all Omer thinks about is her . Omer fell head of heals for Defne and does not know how to handle it.

I think his bedroom is nice. The style is for a single male person. Defne will change the bed

@@gailahanour4146 Omer is not a loner and his lifestyle is not about Defne. He already had that house before her time. Some people don't feel the need to be around others after a busy day. He had enough of that at work. Omer only needed this house as a base for his work, otherwise he would go to his parents' house in the mountains. He is not an entertainer and does not invite guests. So this house is well equipped for a single man. He does have friends like Sinan and Alp, but he doesn't need them around him all the time. Besides his work, he has plenty of distractions by listening to music, reading books and sports.

And that is precisely what Sinan had claimed when Defne made a comment about it when they went shopping for a lamp: that Omer and he did not look down on anyone or treat them less.

Some rich people look down on poor people. Yasemin is one of those people, 🤦

Neriman atrapó a necmi Y koray a un buen amigo. La serie está escrita y es hermosa... Pero nadie a escrito que una bonita posibilidad para defne Hubiese sido que sinan alzará la cabeza y la mirará en Manu.... ( Pero no. No lo hizo y la vio el que menos) Porque el era el único que no diferenciaba en clase social.
