Card #7: I love how you used ephemera as shaker bits! I just recreated this card and now I’m going back through previous LFL kits to find small ephemera bits that will work well with other stamps and papers. What an inspiration you are - that’s why you have a bazillion followers-but I’m your #1 fan ❤️
I love cards #5 (little girls on ovals) and #8 (orange!!). I'm not always sure what to do with the shades of orange, although I'm a sucker for coral and melon tones. This card just knocked it out of the park, SO pretty!!! I love Lizi's little girls. Maybe because on it's own, my hair looks like that, all halo and fluff >:) This morning, it's doing a fine impression of Sir Brian May from Queen -- LOLOL! Anyway, her little girls in her kits are so precious ♡ Thank you for all the work and inspiration {{{♡♡♡}}}
I loved the orange card it’s very spring time The cards are all lovely- as usual I really enjoy your videos when you make multiple cards You are amazing Thankyou for all the inspiration
Hello! I just had a realization when reading your drop down window (not sure if that is what it's called?lol) I saw your address says Sumner, WA! I was born at Good Samaritan Hospital (Good Sam) in Puyallup, WA and grew up my whole life right there in Sumner! I went to both Daffodil Elm. and Maple Lawn Elm. schools and went onto Sumner Jr High, and then Sumner HS! The house I grew up in is on Harrison St right by the Sumner Animal Grub (not sure if still there?) and last I saw the Ford dealership at the end of my street turned into a tractor dealership. I LOVE Sumner and miss it if you couldn't tell! I have been watching your channel for over a year now and never knew this about you! So when I saw where you are located I was immediately going down memory lane in my head and had to say hello to you officially. I currently live in Dallas TX which the ppl are great here but it's way too HOT here! And nothing can ever take the place of beautiful WA state and the evergreen trees! *** I can't just come on here and not say something about your amazing channel and what an awesome card maker you are! I have learned so much from you. I would have never thought of doing blueprints of card layouts before seeing this from you. What a difference it makes to have a plan of action sitting in front of you. Anyways you are awesome and thank you for all these great videos that is spreading inspiration to so many of us and in turn we are able to create cards to share with so many well deserving folks. Basically.... You're the best! ~Michelle, Dallas TX
What a small world! Both of my kids were born at Good Sam. I actually grew up in North Dakota, but I've lived in western Washington for most of my life. It's such a beautiful state. The Sumner Animal Grub is closed now, but the building is still there. I took birthday pictures of my daughter there last year since I love the weathered barn look of the building. Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot to me. I love making cards and sharing them with others. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Why did you stop at 12? You have all those left over bits to make so many more! 😂 Card 4 is my favorite but they are all gorgeous! Now I have to go find those other sentiment stamps by kit month/year. Lol!!
Lol! I have so many other paper pads and kits to work on right now. I fell a bit behind with my eye surgeries. The 'Enjoy the Little Things' stamp set is from the Aug 2020 kit. I don't remember which kit had the Just Because set.
Aw, thank you! Sometimes I have cards where I don't need a full peel off strip. (Especially if an area will be covered with an image or sentiment.) That's where the small pieces come in handy.
I was wondering if you could show us how to use the Love from Lizzie, velum alphabet toppers? I enjoy all of your videos so much and you are a great inspiration and a wonderful instructor!
Like the idea of this kit but I really can’t get over the wide white border on the ephemera....I guess I’d have to fussy cut it off. Love your creative ideas
Thank you! I really didn't think the white borders were very wide this month. Some companies have the white border on their ephemera and others don't. I actually like the white border, but it's a personal preference.
