if you haven't seen Pearl Harbor (2001)...what are you still doing here?? There is too little known about this actor but he was a big heartthrob back in the early 2000's. He is also known for his role in 'Black Hawk Down'.
josh hartnett just has that feel and look of your first love. It makes you blush just by looking at him, butterflies seem to fly in your stomach when he gets that solo shot that looks to the camera. It feels like the wattpad stories only the guy is real and doesn't know anything about you.
Just a note. Josh was 21 in Pearl Harbor, Ben Affleck 28 and Kate Beckinsale 26. Josh was reluctant to do PH because he was already being touted as Hollywood’s Heartthrob and he didn’t want anymore hi profile movies. But he was persuaded to do the blockbuster and he was right. Fan girls chased him down streets and paparazzi camped out in front of his house. He said a few times he had to hide in the trunk of a car to go someplace. His contract bound him to do 5 more films (4 in 2001) and he rushed through them (sneaking in an indie or 2). When his contract expired he retreated to MN home to figure out what he wanted to do-at 23! Imagine! Fortunately for us, he went back to acting but only in small independent films, ones he picked (and still does) because of the writers and/or directors and/or other actors he wanted to work with. He recently said during filming Penny Dreadful (which he loved) in 2014, 2015, and 2016, he realized he had to make some money-making movies because he was having kids. 😁 He has 3, 2015, 2017, 2019. Lovely English wife living happily in England. 🥰

Runners up: Pearl Harbor (2001), Ida Red (2021), 6 Below (2017), 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), Mozart and the Whale (2005). TV: Penny Deadful (2014, 2015, 2016) and The Fear Index (2023). The man is an amazingly talented and versatile actor. His comedic scenes in Oh Lucy (2017) are gold. Worst movies: Wild Horses (2015) and Town and Country (2001). Barely there: Missing (2019), Stuck Between Stations (2011), American Breakdown (2007), Sin City (2005), Stories of Lost Souls (2005), and Here on Earth (2000). Yes, I’ve seen them all. ☺️ I Come With the Rain (2009) is one of his best performances but is almost unbearable to watch in its horrendous violence so it’s not on my runners-up list. My Top Five are MUST SEE Josh Hartnett at his very best.😊
