Excellent movie and storyline. I just recently started to rewatch Nigerian movies and I truly appreciate and respect the issues being showcased and the varying perspectives. Becoming a fan...much respect from the Caribbean. I pray wholeness and healing through Christ Jesus for all who have endured such situations and similar ones.

This is a great movie. Trauma is hard to recover from, everyone needs a friend like this.

Love this movie! I know about rape not to me, but to a love one. She never got counseling and the issues are still there until this day. Since watching this movie it really have given me more perspective of why she still out of control still yet under certain situation. Everyday is a struggle for me not knowing how she might do, but she's managing. I'm going to suggest counseling again for her children sake. Keep her in prayer,🙏🏽♥️

I appreciate the way that this ended. It seemed realistic. Healing from trauma takes time and she wants to come into the relationship as a whole and healed person. That is commendable, honest, loving, and considerate. All of those things are positive signs. So, though we know this is a movie, still there is a feeling of investment_ of caring how these two good-hearted people make out in the end. I think that John and Faith did superlative jobs with their characters; and, also her bestie gave an absolutely awesome performance.

Nigerian moviemakers should go beyond creating movies around love/relationships and do something unique. Why not create movies around prisons, stadiums, airports and train stations? Maximize the use of public facilities around you. Alternatively, make creative movies around how government agencies work (EFCC, immigration, customs, police headquarters, military, DSS, etc). You can use the opportunity to expose the corruption that happens in those government agencies.

The story of my life😢.The pain I will never forget,u think u r healing from it n then boom something triggers it again.people makes moving on from such trauma easy but I've been battling this for years n knows how difficult it is.the feeling of not being worthy to be loved to suicidal ideation to end the pain is unbearable.i pray for healing mercy for myself n anyone who ve been through rape😭😭😭. PTSD is real and people need therapy to cope

Movie has too many secrets and back and forth.

I understand trauma but some people who have experienced traumatic events tends to overreact and act like they are the only ones who have been hurt. My own story is terrible but I tell my self it's just an experience which shouldn't affect me going forward and I'm open to moving on. While others will keep been a slave to the experience. And sometimes it gets irritating at some point.

This was a great educational movie dealing with the Topic of Trauma. Lessons learned that those who experience trauma cannot just “get over it”! Trying to cope with trauma on your own often leads to further depression and other mental health complications like PTSD. The best course of action is to do what John & his girlfriend Faith did….consider enrolling in grief counseling sessions to deal with what caused them so much pain and to begin the healing process. Many lessons are to be learned from this great movie! I hope they found PEACE & LOVE at the end of the day! 🙏🏾❤️✝️

It is ridiculous to bash men saying every person she meets wants to sleep with her considering her line of work. Going to so lap "dances" on strangers crouches means almost all customers expect more than the lap dance. So the correct characterisation should be that, men who love Lap dances are scams because everyone of them want to sleep with you. I am not sure all the men she met in other areas of social lives should be lamped together with those in her chosen line of business. I wish they had a role played by someone to challenge such illogical statements as that would make for quite some balanced arguements.

If ALL men or too the majority of men are as bad as this movie character is putting it, the world would not have held up the way it has. The same as as people who think all women are bad, the world would not be liveable. The fact that we have some good level of family life, harmony is testimony that enough men and women, though not perfect are good people. There are many real life people who think that way and they do so because they have serious problems themselves hence they hold a distorted version of reality.
