Love is a Stranger -Eurythmics (Stewart/Lennox) cover solo live at Loch Bar in Baltimore, MD 

I'm slowly adding elements to this song and in this iteration you will find the sound a real rotating speaker; my phone was sitting on it while recording! I love this Eurythmics classic, and the production has lead me down a rabbit hole of sounds and technology. The special effect in this take was produced by a Motion Sound Pro 3T rotating speaker cabinet. I became obsessed with them while living in SLC, Utah(where they were made, starting in the late 90s). It is my favorite effect of all time, used primarily in conjuction with Hammond organs and originally produced by the Leslie Speaker company; the upper frequency speaker/tweeter horn (and low rotor drum in full cabinet designs) spin, and the result is a Doppler-esque sound that bounces all around the 3D space and creates an immersive experience like none other.
