My husband was hit hard by a metabolism shift when he hit 30. He started putting on weight no matter, went from 80kg (176lbs) to 110kg (240lbs) in the blink of an eye. We tried everything and thankfully have gotten it under control - he has been stable at 110kg/240lbs for years now. He isn't going up anymore... but he can't lose the weight either. He suffers from Chronic Fatigue, so exercise is basically impossible - it leaves him bedridden for days. He spends alot of time in a wheelchair. Chronic Fatigue also means he HAS to eat certain amounts of stuff at certain times just to try and keep his energy - protein before bed, carbs in the morning etc. I do almost all the cooking. My stomach doesn't work, it'll probably be surgically removed in the next few years, so cooking helps remind me I have to eat - and it makes sure I can feed him healthy stuff. We eat extremely healthy... but he just can't shed the weight. Love is... knowing sometimes life deals you a hand you didn't expect, and accepting it anyway. Love is... knowing sometimes things go a bit pear-shaped, and are hard or impossible to fix. We change. We get disabilities, we gain or lose weight, we get sick, we go grey, we get wrinkles and warts and stretch marks... and love is being there with someone through every step. I know the animator has a fat-fetish, being overweight is unhealthy, letting people become obese is harmful - fucking whatever. Just because he finds obese people attractive doesn't mean he is some harmful feeder who wants to force people into obesity for his own sexual pleasure. That's a bit like saying preferring skinny ladies means you want women to always starve themselves... which is dumb. You can be sexually attracted to something without wanting people to hurt themselves. You can enjoy an aesthetic and a fantasy without wishing harm onto people. I want my husband to have the body that makes him feel the happiest in his own skin - REGARDLESS of what I like. I love his gut, I love his tummy hair, I love his soft chest! But that isn't the body he wants. Its not the body he currently has, and he may never have that body again... That is very sad. I will do anything to help him get there, even if it means losing his cute tummy. I love him, and want him to know he is beautiful every step of the way to that goal. This animation is very sweet
You are a beautiful person and your love is inspiring. I wish both your problems could just be fixed, but it's true:love comes along life, and life sometimes deals us a bad hand, true love is enduring that bad hand together, as best as you can.
Can I possibly suggest trying keto for 6 months and see if that helps? Sorry if it's not advice you are looking for, only mentioning it because it was the only thing that worked for me. Even doing that and like a 20 minute walk each day might help reset his body. Regardless I hope that he stays happy and healthy and you all enjoy all the time you have
@@Thewaterspirit57 This is probably true with being slightly overweight, however I have to correct this misinformation. This does not apply to being obese. Regardless of your blood panels, every organ in your body has to work harder, including your heart, kidneys, etc. Each second that ticks by as you are obese might be equivalent to 1.25 or even 1.5 seconds for someone who is a healthy BMI.
Yeah his art and animation are always great and shows what is going on in the background without having to explain every bit of detail it's one of the main reasons I love his work and him
I liked the idea and the message behind this but there's still the overwhelming idea on how he can't even walk upstairs of his own home anymore. Kinda sad imo
Yeah same, maybe because I go to school for nursing but this isn’t a very heartwarming scene for me. It feels like an unfortunate progression of events.
Moving in together is a big step, I'm glad they're happy with each other, I thought something really bad happen at the end because the background suddenly become dark but it's actually very wholesome 💕
To be honest i think this did get dark even if not the intention The bigger man, despite how clearly unhappy his partner is with how hes destroying himself, kept going until he couldn't go up the stairs with him anymore. Resulting in the smaller one having to give up on even trying to help him anymore, instead of a mutual compromise, the smaller one has to just give in despite being unhappy because of "love"
@@ItsMinnowSeason I dont think that what the story was trying to convey lol it said it in the frame mutual growth the morals of this story is to be more accepting lol the trophy for sumo cup also proves that he was just trying to live his life but everyone has there prosectives even tho I dont agree lol
@@cano727 Yeah exactly I found the animation wholesome and adorable I know a lot of people think this is a sad animation but the whole point of the animation is showing how some couples especially married ones just lose focus on trying to stay in shape cause they're just to tired with everything and just want to let lose and shows that you should still love your partner even though they got a few extra pounds. I agree it isn't a good idea to be unhealthy but some people just want to be that way it's their choice I just wish the people that are talking bad about the video would just love the animation and understand what the artist was showing instead of trying to make it look and sound bad even though you can't help them to get back in shape you should still support them and love them for who they are and show them you should love them and who knows maybe there will be another video where he gets back in shape.
I love seeing this animation again. It’s technically beautiful and well-written and -acted, and it’s just so sweet. Thanks for showing that there’s hope for the chubby guys and the guys who love them!
I dont think this was showing hope though You see how unhappy the smaller man is and he just- instead of the two having some kind of mutual compromise where they're both happy- the smaller dude just seemed to just give up/give in despite being happy quq||
@@ItsMinnowSeason Or, maybe, it shows that there are hardships in life and that they can be accommodated for, no matter how "unhappy" they can make you in the moment.
My bf used to be extremely thin and attractive, everyone in school wanted him. When we graduated and the pandemic hit he gained so much weight. Idky but this makes me wanna cry bc of how much I relate to it. It's not his size, but hes the one that feels bad about himself, and of course I want him to feel good ab himself and happy and healthy. I do everything to support him, and I want him to know no matter what his size is I'll always be there by his side, trying to help him. Even though it hurts a lot to see himself letting himself go so badly, I love him, and at the end of the day my support wont be enough because its HIS decision. Sorry for my rant. This resonated with me.
Just have a serious talk with him about it and maybe go on jogs or to the gym yourself so it makes it easier for him to join you and get started on his weight loss. Obesity is a serious issue and I hope it works out and he addresses it so he can live longer.
Thank you guys for the advice :) this has been an ongoing problem for 2 years. I've went to the gym and even started dieting with him, but somehow he always falls back. Will try my best to have another serious talk with him. It really means a lot :) ❤
If you need more help please come back. I know a lot that you both have not learned yet about weight loss. Fasting is by far the most effective way to lose weight. Keto also works. Either is more effective than just eating less and moving more.
Incredibly wholesome animation. You let go a little to gain a lot. Ironically, that's a good metaphor for this animation. Love your works and drawings, and I'm happy you're still active here
I’m curious what you mean by this? Do you see this animation as portraying the bigger guy letting go and being himself and the smaller guy eventually learning to accept him for who he is?
@@johnlinkman7760 No no, not at all. At the beginning, they both move into their own place, that's the "give up a little" part. The "gain a lot" stands for their growing relationship with each other, even though the big deer gains some weight, which is the way I tried to put it originally
@@Gretri17 Idk that seems like a slight of hand to me. It seems like it could mean both at the same time. What your saying seems like it may be an undertone to the story but the overtone seem like weight gain.

So, I noticed that it says Mutual Growth.... but you can tell as the photos go with each set, that in the end, the smaller cervine is unhappy when looking at their partner.... they're unhappy with either their size or perhaps their lack of self? I LOVE this animation for the quality, but I take it as something different than everyone else I think. It's adorable, but, watching someone get so large it becomes unhealthy or a safety concern.... I don't feel that that's love.... coming from someone who watched their Grandfather love his wife SO much he let her get to 620lb until she couldn't even move anymore.... or even have a life.... this animation makes me sad in a way. My grandfather gave up his LIFE to love and care for my obese grandmother... and she never once thanked him... when she passed from her size/health the family was actually low key happy because my grandpa was FREE and he now has a amazing life. So... from my own experiences... I just take something different from this animations meanings then others might.
I shed a tear when I saw this, more like a plump person that I am, and not having had a boyfriend before, it gives me a lot of emotion and joy to know that I still have the hope that one day that will come. I take my hat off to your animations fattydragonite, you really know how to express things that others cannot by other means, cheers.

You can tell most of these people don't realize it's a WG fetish xD Keep on making videos about what you like, don't let their disapproval make you change your content. If you make it obvious enough, then you'll attract the audience that you actually want.
I... *THINK* that this video was meant to be a wholesome one with WG derivatives in it, rather than it being wholesome WG fetish content itself. If it *is* just straight-up wholesome WG content, then that's very 👍 and people should make what they like. But as someone not into WG, I originally saw this as a cute, wholesome animation depicting relatable changes/dynamics in a mundane long-term relationship that happened to abide by that... *”being able to tell an artist's fetish even in their casual non-fetish stuff“* meme to non-distracting levels (vs. the not-very-mundane scenarios typically depicted in WG???). I'd like to think that incorporating the skills artists develop... *after dark* doesn't render their SFW content after dark. But I guess that whether that applies to this video depends on whether what happens behind the scenes is *mundane* or not, which now seems ambiguous to me after my second watch. 😅
Always makes my day seeing another great animation and art from you my boyfriend and I have always loved watching your videos together after a long shit day at work love you man keep up the great work hun 🐺💙
Ouch. Hope the two were ok when they fell down the stairs. As always, your animations are amazing and cute. 😊 Love is sharing, helping, and of course fattening.
RU-vid showed me this great animation, but I'm torn. I appreciate the work that went into such a beautiful result, but it's also very scary. As someone who has watched a family member become more sedentary over time and gain so much weight it negatively impacts their overall health and life... seeing him not be able to get up the stairs again nearly made me cry.
No the other character is a sumo wrestler and his partner wanted to support him on that if you see the trophy in the background its a sumo wrestling trophy
*Hold tf up.* It's not about father and son relationship, in which one gets older and heavier and the young one does his best to take care of aging parent, but y'all say it's about two gay deers with fat fetish? *Disney didn't prepare me for that.*
I can't believe it. Its still looping in my head that bendor died 2 months ago, the actor voice acting the green dragon was Benjamin James Ricard. And from all the info I gathered he took his own life bye drowning himself on a nearby beach all because he said "his life was faked everything he did was a lie" I'm not sure if he was depressed or anything because he didn't look it that being said, Rest in piece Bendor ❤️ you will forever be remebered
I would have tell my boyfriend that he should stop eating that much cause it can be dangerous too,so he should keep his own control, ofc I would help him.
This is top notch stuff. The storyboarding alone is brilliant. So much told without words and with beautifully rendered animation beats. It's damned near perfect. LOVE IT.
I do not want anyone misinterpreting what I am saying or putting words in my mouth here; but he was gaining so much weight that it was putting his health and well-being at risk. True love would be to convince the guy to see a doctor, then be there for him, giving him encouragement along the way; changing your own diet, so you both are eating what he sould be eating. If the doctor chooses surgery, then true love would be to be in the hospital waiting for him to come out of surgery, then holding his hand as soon as you get the chance, holding something he really, really likes (such as an action figure, a comic book, or if he likes it, a very, very nice floral arrangement). True love would be to do every single one of the chores and errands yourself every single day, until he feels better; then if he has true love for you, as soon as he is healed enough to do so, he will begin doing chores as well. (Maybe even take over doing all of them for a while after he heals completely.)
I watched the video, thought it was cute but I read a reply from the creator that it's a sumo trophy on the wall, and than this video became adorable and amazing! There's no words so we as watchers need to read the ENTIRE video to understand. And as a side note, Sumo wrestlers do a lot of exercise and healthy eating, watch some videos on it. Enjoy!
@@spiwolf6998 I watch a lot of sumo wrestling and they explain that most sumo wrestlers are built differently. Which is why successful ones have a short lifestyle. If you watch live coverage of bashos, which is their competition, you can see them having issues with stairs. They can lift cars, people, but long distances give them trouble. Much like body buildings and power lifters can do amazing feats but due to muscle mass, can't get a note off their back. Yet someone who works with yoga can. They build up muscle and stamina to have fights, to have bursts of energy and strength. Look at wrestler Touchinoshin. His build is different from other sumo wrestlers, extremely built under his weight, watch his videos and his arms and legs. But you'll see by just him walking around, he will start to heave. Different body builds, different ways to deal with stuff. Not saying it's bad but obviously he is working out and his partner loves and supports him. But we gotta see the whole picture. Like the vending machine and breaking rules video the creator did. Small hidden details to why the one character is so shy and hidden. Hope this helps, cheers!
I love all of your animations, they are so wonderful and you improve every single time! I would like to see how Andy and Chris are doing for your next project, but any other one is perfect too!
Gaining weight as you settle down with your love is a classic trope. Very bizarre that so many people in this comment section insist on making it about real life issues, Imagine getting triggered over a fat cartoon animal. I think some just see a fat person, cartoon or not, and can only think about how they’re dying or suffering or whatever.
Well yeah, but check out the other videos... It's not just a classic trope but a fetish thing. I don't care, personally, but that's probably why people are disturbed (however I have yet to see anyone actually complain)
@@nyancat8828Dude, if this was a fetish thing, it wouldn’t be posted on RU-vid. This is something that happens, and believe it or not, but some people like being big, and their partner likes enjoying the size as well. Don’t blanket this only as a fetish :/
@@Thewaterspirit57 I'm sorry to tell you, but fetish stuff is all over RU-vid. This person's channel is called "FattyDragonite" Not my first choice for a name. Their most popular video is a fat, inflating Charizard- I can't even view it because it was age-restricted. I thought this was obviously a fetish animation, the videos recommended after this are fat, furry, inflation animations. Sorry dude.
My guy, he couldn't even walk up stairs anymore. Dude became disabled and it is entirely avoidable. As a disabled person who did not choose this at all it is really gross.
@@Thewaterspirit57I’m not saying if it is or not, this is just a tangential correction, but fetish stuff absolutely gets posted to RU-vid. It’s not explicitly sexual to the outside observer which is why it doesn’t get taken down, but yeah it gets posted.
this.. ain’t it, chief. so many people get told this and then crash and burn, because they’re told that their needs are burdensome if they require more help than the standard. disabled people, the elderly, those who are sick, mentally ill, struggling with their weight, etc. are all often harmed by this kind of thinking. please don’t spread this rhetoric. sometimes love is changing yourself for the better of the people around you, but often love is knowing what you need and finding those who can give it to you. loving others is knowing who to turn to when you need a push forwards on your journey to self-improvement. and loving others is helping them out, too. these days, we’re often taught that we need to be hyper-independent so as not to burden others. we don’t. we’re social creatures for a reason.
Love is doing what’s best for someone regardless of how it may be perceived by those you love or by others. That means keeping your loved ones responsible and stopping them from letting themselves go too much, to the point shown in this animation.
@@alanwest272 if you can’t see that going from relatively fit to being so overweight you can’t go up a flight of stairs without help is a bad thing, I worry for you. Someone who truly cares about you wouldn’t let you hurt yourself, would they? Why would they let you accept all the negative consequences of being morbidly obese? That’s hurting yourself. The animation comes from a good initial idea, but the specifics shown are dangerous to people easily influenced. Sometimes, indiscriminately supporting someone’s choices hurts them. I already know I’m not changing your opinion and you’re not changing my mind, so I won’t respond to you again here. Please think about what I’ve written fairly, as one day, it could save your or your loved one’s life. Have a good life!
I don't think people with this particular kink believe or want to believe that obesity is bad and can kill you. I'm pretty sure they have fantasies of feeding people till they can no longer move... Idk what's appealing about it. It's very scary.
You put so much thought into a fetish animation, where the dude literally floats sniffing tasty food like a classic cartoon. No one thinks this is real life. “Dangerous” get a grip.

Really sad to see the dudes health drop while being in a relationship with the smaller one. That indicates that the smaller one either flat out doesn't care if his partner becomes bedridden due to weight or is actively trying to hurt his partner by feeding him so much that he can't even get up the stairs. Dude is a feeder and it's really sad. Stay healthy everyone and get you a person who pushes you to be the best and most healthy you you can be. Not someone that tries to make you so weak that you HAVE to depend on them to live. What happens if the small one dies or breaks up with him? Can he ever go up those stairs again? Can he even get off the couch without help? Don't date people who feed your addiction because it all leads to death and terrible pain. The art is very well done though
"feeding him so much he can't even get up the stairs"? The scene just before that was the smaller one trying to get the larger one to work out. And people posess their own free will. I highly doubt the smaller one is forcing him to eat considering the smaller one seems very unhappy having to care for the other when he does get exceptionally big. The pizza scene was the second frame just as the bigger one had gain a small amount of weight and floated up the stair following him. I do feel it's more a commentary on how people who gain large proportional amounts of weight don't consider how their habits and drastic life changes affect their spouses. Especially when they get so big, health issues begin to flare and they sit in a constant state of worry their loved one might have a hiccup in their health they might not come back from, like a stroke. The sign in the back, mutual growth... relationships are always mutual, at least, they should be. And corvine gaining weight should see it's worrying their partner and making them stress, but they persue still getting bigger. I believe the story shouldn't be for the smaller one to give in and accept the bigger's choices and try to be happy for their partner. I feel they should have had some kind of conversation and find some mutual ground.
@@sheridanmcavoy3817 I don't want to argue with someone who thinks people should compromise on their partners health. You don't compromise about addiction unless you don't care about them enough, my friend. You don't compromise with someone with an acholic. You don't compromise with someone who has anorexia or encourage it without hurting them on purpose or not caring about them enough. That's common sense. This is no different. That's all I'll say on the matter
@@JS-pq2tc common sense should have told you that if OP said they don't want the message to be accept your partner's deteriorating health right before the concluding sentence, they obviously mean that the couple should communicate and reach a compromise about the best way to help them improve.Or maybe that's just me🤨✌️
@@echoxeros5233 there is a right, and a wrong. Compromise is the death of truth. You don't "compromise" with someone who is starving themselves to death or an acholic drinking themselves to death. That's giving in to what is killing your loved one. Over eating is the same. Strive for someone who wants you as healthy as you can be. Not be with or be someone who will back down at your or your partner's wanting of their or your addiction.
That is so fucking depresive, imagine having to deal with someone who cant even get up the stairs. The blue dude is definitely is getting the short end of the stick.
Oh no! Someone very capable of helping one another who cant do something is helping! So miserable!! Dudes a sumo wrestler, and this is a fat fetish animation, get your head on right.
Oh casual watcher, be not fooled by the wonderful aesthetics. It’s Gainer content xD Khendar’s FA seems to support that. I love this community, never stop
I've shared around where I can. Absolutely beautiful artwork and story telling. I have to respect the kind-spirited nature of these. The lack of conflict in your videos has been refreshing and proof you can simply tell a heartwarming story. I love your content
I hate to say it, because the animation is really nice, but love shouldn't involve enablement.. That is, it seems like rather than encouraging healthy habits they're letting their partner become unhealthy out of "acceptance". Loving someone should involve encouraging them to be at their best rather than stepping aside or even "feeding" into destructive behavior out of fear of emotional conflict. Besides this, the animation is fairly endearing and was enjoyable to watch.
You do know this is probably a fetish animation, right? Also, who is one to insist on what is someone at their "best" than the person themself? Also, what is your opinion on drug laws if you don't mind me asking?
This is so cute Love is constantly shifting. For the better or worse but in the end it’s still you and them And nothing will change that Also his stomach is at perfect weight to be a cushion or a marshmallow pillow
"Sad to see an eating disorder get out of hand like that" -Nick 2009 It's very cute, but doesn't really reflect on reality and becoming immobile is not a happy ending.

I'm sorry but how is this mutual growth ? The one in the blue shirt had to give up on his hobby because of his partner. How did the one in the red shirt grow as a person ? He wasn't the one to sacrifice anything. When it's only one person in the relationship putting in the work it's kinda toxic and that's how partners end up resenting each other

The artist was trying to show that he became a sumo wrestler but he mentioned he couldn't die faces well at the time. Even mentioning he didn't intend for people to assume he couldn't go upstairs anymore and it was just a silly thing to add to it.
