great video! I remember watching this series 20 years ago. I love the tension between them, Trelawney definitely had feelings of attraction (or obsession?) for her. It's probably the only time he came close to actually caring about anyone. I wish they developed his character and their interactions more, but the show kinda fizzled, sadly :( It was actually quite ahead of its time imo.
Wow, thanks for your comment! I didn't think anyone else remember this show. Although I personally watched it about a year ago. I just was interested in Joseph's works, so I watched almost all the films with him))) I love his negative characters, they are very charming. And Trelawney is just that. I agree, there was such an attraction between them, it had to be realized into something, but, unfortunately, the creators killed him without any chance. Anyway, it was amazing feeling to travel back in time.😉
@@_infinityxxx ok, so you totally see the attraction on his end right? (Not hers, she definitely hated him 100%). Sometimes I thought I was imagining it, but there's just too many hints, many of which you included in the video :) I'm a big JB fan too! He's very charismatic. I loved him in Holocaust (imagine my surprise when I saw a young Meryl Streep!)
@@thegreenskittle Yes, Shawn certainly had feelings for her. From the first meeting, Angela attracted him by her appearance, but then he began to be attracted by her intelligence, her perseverance. I think he liked their mutual struggle, this confrontation. She was his obsessed goal. When Angela faked her death, Shawn wasn't happy, and not just because he didn't believe it. Sometimes it seemed to me that she also had the excitement of this war. But here, of course, was hatred/dislike from her side. Wow, I haven't seen this movie (Holocaust) yet. I need to catch up. I remember JB from Santa Barbara. I loved Kerk no matter what😂
