Brandon being introduced as an untrustworthy husband in the 1st episode speaks volumes. If he and his wife were able to work through his past infidelity and agreed he wouldn't sign future female artists then he deserves whatever he gets if he violates that trust. Kristina sharing that he chooses his business over spending quality time with her and their girls is not a good sign and his body language and disinterest in her feelings says he's already checked out of their marriage and seems to be holding on for appearances.
First episode and..😳😳😳😳😳Couples coming in cripple. I hope that wasn't the goal.... Can we get some strong, solid, healthy, successful, couples about their business????THE CITY SEEMS THE START OF THE SHOW!
Honestly, as with any reality show, people are minimum ok with seeing SOME business aspects, but actually, MAJORITY are tuning in for the drama. When it's business, people start complaining about it being boring. Then, when their favorite is getting attacked, everybody want to protest the show. We'll I'm here for it all, so like I love me some Melody Rodgers, imma keep watching as long as she is on the show. For LAMDC, I'm still checking to see who I'm going to enjoy the most. So far, I like what I see.

I loved episode 1. The love all of the ladies and love how they support one another. I really hope they can maintain their sisterhood and this show doesn't cause unnecessary drama.
I felt that same love and hip hop vibe that you are talking about. Not in a negative e way but just in that music and studio dynamic. So far I think this show will be good.
Latoya is my sister sorority sister and she was also my niece physical therapist, I'm so surprised she did a reality show but her husband is a wannabe.
I noticed that the couples were not sitting together, closely, on the small loveseat. Like, not even shoulder to shoulder. Kolby and Russell, I noticed, even were leaning a little bit away from each other.
I love how they had black businesses already in episode one! But baby that Brandon something else and ion care for Anthony at all! I did enjoy the show

Not feeling the new show. To me it’s just another Carlos King show displaying how he thinks men are superior to women. And highlighting men treating women bad. That seems to be CK thing. Starting to feel like CK hates women.
You used female artist correctly. It is being used as an adjective. If you would have just said a female, then it would have been incorrect because you are saying that as opposed to male artist.

Brandon and Kristina give me very much Ralph and Drew. Russell and Koby seem to be the couple that stands the strongest. Anthony and LaToya, makes methereof Marsau and LaTisha, I don't like him at all. Not only is he very chauvinistic, but he also seems to be a bit feminine to me.
Didn’t feel fresh to me. In fact it’s absolutely REEECYCLED and a culmination of the other shows. Seems like another show where the husbands are either chauvinists or outright narcissists. I’m not interested in watching men disrespect their women anymore. Is there anyone, anywhere with healthy relationships? If the next episodes don’t bring something respectful, meaningful and solid, I’m out. JJ 2.0 with his man bun is a NO for me!

I’m gonna be honest, it was hard for me to watch this show. I have had enough of this fake picturesque black marriages that’s broken and toxic asf! Sure married ppl have challenges, however I wanna see Black Love that isn’t centered around struggle and disrespect🙄 Anthony is insecure and loud, Brandon is sneaky and disrespectful. I can’t stand males who make demands, figuratively beat their chest and say what they will and won’t do. That way of being is toxic and so played out. I’m gonna catch my recaps by just watching you Richie 😂
Carlos loves dysfunction. At least two of the husbands are toxic. I also don't like how Carlos seems to lean toward men that are "questionably straight" in heterosexual relationships with women. JMO
'Female artist' is fine because the gender is relevant here and 'woman artist' (for example) doesn't make sense ... Kolby chats too much, letting it slip that Brandon has a new artist who's female before he could tell Kristina. Then again, Russell chats too much as well, or else he wouldn't have shared that info with Kolby (who's close to Kristina) ... I think I get Anthony's intentions as far as empowering men (as long as it's not a low key way of running women). Latoya seems calm yet gives me the impression she can't be bossed around ... I can understand Brandon's frustration with being questioned/feeling monitored & perhaps his & Kristina's interactions leave him feeling humiliated. On the other hand, forgiving and forgetting are not synonymous. I imagine the outcome of Kristina calling Brandon & being kept in the dark about the new artist make it harder for her to leave things in the past. I do wonder about the immediate aftermath of his transgression.
