the fact that this is the first movie of romance that I see that the couple doesn’t kiss and still better than many movies of romance. The chemistry between them is just so unique and real love. Definitely one of my favorite movies.

they picked a great actor to play Mr. Darcy...i'd have to say i wish i had Mr. Darcy as a husband, at least he is respectul and kind. living in that time period and in england would have been beautiful.
I kinda felt like he was becoming more n more beautiful as the movie went by..and at the end i was more in love with him than elizabeth was❤️❤️such a beautiful film!!
I never properly noticed the way Darcy looked at Elizabeth for the first time while she bowed...he actually did a double take at that moment..feels like he fell in love at first sight but was unable to accept it himself for some time... And the fact that he took things slow just to make sure himself first like asking her to dance ...Matthew is a such an amazing actor and this movie is just so beautiful ❤
Funny to know that the people funding this movie didn't want Mathew to play Darcy..They wanted a BIG name..The director and producer knew what they were doing..
If you watch his eyes, you see the movie in a completely different way. Matthew Macfayden is absolutely brilliant, he shows Mr. Darcy’s feelings though his eyes, but it is so subtle you can watch the whole movie without even seeing it, (and then you wonder why you don’t really like Mr. Darcy very much), but when you pay attention you see Mr. Darcy’s character in a whole new light and on a whole new level. (And then you can’t figure out why you love Mr. Darcy so much.)

The wife got nothing and the son has the right to give his mother money for life. If he love her and is a good man , he gives something for life. The film Sense and Sensebility tells it more.I am happy to live in this era ,too because the medicine wasn,t really good and the humans died from sickness faster. Tubercolosis was a big enemi from the humans and no one in this time knows from what it come.They only knew ,that Tubercolosis was deadly. You needn,t feel bad. It was another time.I like the pictures from the nature in this film . Reading a book in the morning must be beautyful to built the mind . 🤗

Mr. Darcy may not be very good on small talks but Matthew eyes is expressing all his sensibilities...will touch any girls deep in the heart. We can say that the production work hard on Mr. Darcy characters as they knew the audience expectation was very high after Colin Firth. Good job Matthew.

Since this gorgeous movie came out, I’ve been hoping and praying for a film based on P&P’s sequel book (Death comes to Pemberley)....well, there’s already a mini-series made by BBC, but I yearn for a full-feature movie where Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfayden reprise their roles from the “first” one. ❤️❤️
