When i met my husband,he couldn't hug anyone like literally. His dad breathed his last breathe while they were hugging and that traumatized him.getting him to learn to hug again took me alot of work and am glad now he hugs everyone gladly. A very nice movie it is.

Apart from how phenomenal the actors were, the storyline itself is incredible. The undertone, lessons, mood etc child molestation is a cankerworm in our society and not much has changed overtime. Children are abused by their parents, helpers, teachers etc I hope this movie sheds light and gives the more needed awareness child abuse needs and permanent ways to cub this menace 😢

The part where Maurice had a nightmare of his Dad touching him and he slipped off his bed really brought tears to my eyes. No child should ever go through such traumatic experiences from their parents or anybody for that matter. Parents are supposed to protect their children not to harm them. And parents need to LISTEN to their children. Maurice you're just so good with your acting you make every character feel so real.
