Love Some 40mm Lenses 

Thanks for the Video. I like to point out, the actual Fuji 27/2.8 has an aperture ring. And is even smaller. By the way, the sound is very low.

I love that 40 F2. My favorite Z lens is the 35 1.8 S, but it's a tad too big for travel. I use the 35 1.8 on paid gigs but for travel the 40 F2 all day long on my Z7 and Z6II and maybe on a ZF?

The newer version (R WR) of that (Fuji 27mm f/2.8) lens has an aperture ring. A good ALT is the TTArtisan ver. of the 27mm f/2.8 really good w/aperture ring, especially at the price of $149.99. Since size isn't an issue for me the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 is unmatched at $549.99 across any platform. Love love the 40mm FF focal length.

This is useful info - I wasn't aware of Lenstip. Now I have to go look up all my lenses to justify the purchases lol. Just a tip - maybe get a lav mic. You're very soft-spoken and so the audio gets a bit lost especially in that big room.

Whose House?! 40mm is such an interesting focal length. Not quite 35 but not quite 50. It’s a great mix of both and I’ve found a lot of enjoyment with the Sony 40. Anyway, we are all Chiefs fans this week… because anything other than Niners

You said you will compare 40mm lenses, then you pull out the 27 mm Fuji. WTF?
