It makes me laugh whenever I see people abusing Raj Kapoor of 'using' Nargis. Arre, he gave her some of the most iconic roles of Hindi Cinema whether in Awara or Barsaat or Shree 420. If Nargis is a legend today, a part of it is because of the roles she got in RK Films. And he immortalized her in his RK logo. Respect for both the legends.

Excellent documentary from yester yrs. of great Bollywood pair Raj kapoor & Nargis. Sad to see poor woman was used and dumped due to family and religious taboos of the time. It was very nice of Sunil Dutt who held Nargis' hand by giving her a family life.

From all Prithivraj Kapoor sons, i only liked Shashi the MOST. Just as SELFISH raj was by using his female co stars not only Nargis, but also his costar in Sangam, he tried a relation with her but said it was a publicity stunt just to promote his movie. I don't agree what people say against Raj Kapoor.His affair with Nargis was not based on commercial business, but it was an emotional attachment with her, as she was so a butiful. But for Prithvi Rajkapoor who never wanted that this relationship should go beyond d limit, lest tomorrow Nargis become his Bahu, as Nargis didn't belong to a well to do family. Nargis affair with RK was deep rooted ,which has been even confirmed by Krishna Rajkapoor. n Raj Kapoor too didn't lack behind in it. the RK production logo is a proof n remembrance to this immortal love.
