This was fantastic and so melodic....if possible could you possibly make a cover of tears in rain. I have a feeling its going to be extremely good if you do that. Again thanks for the music!!
Ficou mto bom na guitarra..mas o sax... E o sax.....e difícil de explicar a diferença.. porque é uma questão daquela energia dos anos 80...Entende?!!❤😊
Hello Kania-san ! It's so nice to talk you again here. My family are fine, Thank you. I also hope that your so much upgraded sushi dinner have made your family healthier too !
She's an illusion in every sense, right down to her holographic countenance made up of ones and zeroes. But in the brave new normal of the 6uild 6ack 6etter world, nobody is perfect, and she is both the fantasy and reality of a haunted dystopian future made flesh .
My night needed this song. Really enjoyed the atmosphere! Thank you so much! Edit: haha! Looks like I've commented this before. Never mind. If it is something I've liked, mind as well comment again? No harm done.
I felt very sad when I heard that Vangelis had passed, and even more so when I heard the cause was Covid-19, but in a way the sadness of this piece, done in sax and guitar, encapsulates that sadness, for the movie and the music-maker...and such a tribute that the second Bladerunner movie had an equivalent scene with something like this in it.
Hello from Geary, I still listen to this video from time to time and greatly admire your musicianship and engineering/production skills. I wondered if you would not mind sharing what you used to master your recording whether it be hardware or software or both. it would be very helpful to know the process you used to get such a professional result. it is truly a beautiful production and people are still listening. Thank You, Geary
Thank you for your comment. Really glad to hear it. I only used software instruements excpet main solo guitar. main DAW software is logic X, CS-80 horn sound and pulse wave synth sound are by Arturia CS-80V, strings by spitfire chember strings, electric piano is IK multimedia sample tank 1973 stage electric piano, and basses are Arturia Arp 2600 V and Mini V. For covering song, at first I paste the original songs wave data to audio track of DAW, and carefully pull down the each instrument sound and notes to the MIDI track one by one. In this way, you can get the right notes and timber of original because if you get wrong sound and notes you can hear the differnce so easily when you playbaack both original and copy simultaneously. Anyway, the greatness of this song is owed all by Vangels' original composition and I only re-rendered it by my highest respect. Hope this would help.
Thank You so much for your reply, it was interesting and very helpful. I look forward to your future videos and hope you keep up the good work! You are very talented. Thanks again, Geary
did you also do the other instruments in this piece? the other backing instruments sound different... but don't get me wrong, they sound wonderful, amazingly like the original blending together in harmony... just wonderful... Edit: I have continued watching and see you playing the other parts! haha - again, wonderfullly done. as a musician that has played in a local city orchestra in days gone by: Bravissimo, friend. Peace to you
Like others before me have suggested, a guitar? Niiiiiice! I never considered it being played on a guitar before. It adds a different sound to the piece. Not wrong, different.
When I first saw the electric guitar I thought it was a terrible idea and that it wouldn't fit the song but I've never been so wrong in my life, I preferer this to the original. Great job man!
Your backing track sounds like the original. It is not just the music or the sound. It is the flow. The breathing... I would be honored if I could have it. I play the sax and I would like to feel this experience of Vangelis fantasy through your music! Thank you so much.
Hello, Thank you for your comment. I release the back track for a very limited time. I don't have any right of the song, so please use it only for personal use. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g9HSORYyxLI.html
This is one of the best Vangelis-covers I have ever heard. Would love to see the synth stuff what you did to achieve this. The CS80 sounds on this are really realistic. Is it a software synth or a hardware synth that makes it?
Thank you so much ! The synth sounds that I used are all Arturia software CS-80 synthesizers. Strings are spitfire chember strings. The old kurzweil MIDI keyboard gave me nice after touch controls for CS-80.
Hello, thank you for your comment. The backing track is made by myself from scratch. I used several virtual synth( for CS-80, I used Arturia ) and did not use any hard synths.
Thank you. I uploaded back track video for a very limited time. I don't have any right for this music so please use it only for personal uses. Hope you enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OsuoNwfuFLk.html
