To add to the story, This was the first time Lovebites was playing at this venue. This venue was special to Miho because her father would take her here as child to see bands. Her father was going to attend this concert but passed away a few months before it happened. As others have said she then wrote this song in honor of him and they performed it for the first time. What a true professional Miho is to be able to play through her pain.

Heavy metal does a tear jerker. The emotion is undeniable and gets me every time. Miho was, and is a legend. 🤘🥁🎸🎹🎤🐺

💜MIHO💜 The member of LOVEBITES who received the least attention and love from fans when she was in the band. Unfortunately, many fans underestimate Miho's contribution to LOVEBITES. I don't just mean the lyrics and music of the songs that Miho wrote for the band. “Good things are better seen from afar” (when some time has passed). A few more years will pass and I really hope many of us will truly appreciate what Miho did for LOVEBITES. Thanks for your reaction!

Miho wrote this song in memory of her father's passing. Her father was a paramedic and he died unexpectedly at a pretty young age of 49. In fact, the band played this show not long after her father's passing. Miho was pretty close to her father who used to take her to rock & metal concerts when she was younger and that's where she got her interest in metal.

I shared your video on the Lovebites discord and then had to wait 30 or so minutes before watching it cause everytime I tear up knowing the story of the song so I have to prepare myself every single time I see this performance. As another said, Miho wrote the song in memory of her father who passed away at the age of 49, he was a paramedic and he was the biggest influence on Miho's love of Metal as he would bring her to all kind of shows

loving miho as much as we all do this is a very hard song to watch. for her to get through this on stage even gives me more respect for her. she - like all of the members - is very special and as much as i love fami , miho is sorely missed

A song written by Miho about the death of her father and the effect it has had on her. The pain and anguish is raw and many think this was one of the reasons that led to her leaving Lovebites as they were a constant reminder of that pain she was suffering. Whatever the reasons the Wolfpack misses her and her shoes will never be filled (Fami brought her own footwear). Notice how Miho despite the pain and anguish played this expertly to the very end and continued the rest of the set despite that pain. We can only hope she finds the peace and happiness she deserves. Asami really shows that genuine empathy she writes as lyrics to many of Lovebites songs.

Like everybody commented they did Miho dad's sending off on the live stage. As you can see Asami was singing to someone up there, and Miyako nodded at Miho like saying "go for it" before Miho went to the front stage. Miho was very emotional naturally but didn't miss a note. She is highly professional or she didn't want to spoil the performance for her dad. Haruna's drum fills are always superb. As you pointed out, they don't use cowbells nowadays in any genre of music, rock, jazz, Latin but Haruna did it and it was very effective. Haruna is a drum nard with great taste.

It's actually astonishing, that Miho was able to play this to the end! Incredible!

This is the first time I have seen the live version with added lyrics. Although I knew roughly the outline of the lyric in respect of Miho's father, I did not realise how very poignant they are. As many others have commented, how did Miho, keep it together? No one would have blamed her if she walked out and came back after she composed herself. Even though I have see this live performance sufficient times to know the moment Asami and Miho come together at the front and centre of the stage, is when Mino cries, I still cry with her. This is a requiem. However, it is not written as a soft ballad, but as heavy and groovy power metal. That's the style of Miho and the band she founded. Miho has shown cool and powerful performances so far, but in this live performance, she briefly showed the expression of a daughter who lost her father.
