I haven't heard one song by Lovebites that isn't amazing, but seriously... this one always brings a tear to my eyes. These ladies are what I've been waiting for in music for years, decades even, and I just hope I get a chance to see them live. 🤘🐺
See you at New Cross next Friday 🤘 Then I’ll see them again at The Garage, Highbury, July 1, then the big one in Tokyo in September. These ladies are simply the best!
I want to see them in the US But They are not playing anywhere near me. and Summertime is my busy season. I they play any fall dates I'll fly to see them.
They are phenomenal. Midori's acoustic playing was sublime. And how musically badass is Miyako playing piano flawlwssly with her guitar hanging over her chest and jumping back up to shred (she was also about 4-5 mos pregnant).
Hi Nudger,i will be at the concert next Friday, i hope to see you there, Lovebites are my favourite band, they've got the best 5 musicians in 1 band awesome, they abot 60 songs & i haven't heard a bad one yet they are perfectionist🤟🐺🎸Hassan from London x
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics: Crystal tears Falling from the skies Veiling fears The emptiness inside Time is just passing by Killing me under the soft twilight A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade One life ends And one life begins Evanesce To our origins When I'm lost on my way Lead my heart and guide me with your grace A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away All living things are precious and irreplaceable Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky If only I could wish to see you once more ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020

Greetings from an old Spanish wolf, member of this wonderful wolf pack. They are incredible, wonderful, they have revolutionized heavy metal with their quality, their perfection, their friendliness, their elegance, their beauty. And especially Asami, I'm in love with her like a lamb. When the close-up of her beautiful face appears in the song, I immediately melt. Thanks for your great reaction, friend.
A veritable masterpiece. I challenge any other rock or metal band to be able to replicate this song LIVE and to this level of musicianship. Enjoy the concert next week and I look forward to you showing us parts of it !
I agree with the word masterpiece for this one. I also feel like Asami should be appreciated more for her contribution to the songwriting (more than just the lyrics), as she had a composition-hand in: A Frozen Serenade, Paranoia, Judgement Day, Dissonance, and Epilogue; many of the better songs IMO. Too many good ones for it to just be a coincidence, and so I feel like she’s being under-appreciated.
I was thinking about who would have the proper personal (no guests) and requisite amount of skill to properly cover this, and I came up with the great Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This would actually be right up their alley, and I would put my life savings on their ability to cover it note for note and improve on the stage production. I believe Dream Theater and Galneryus could cover everything but each only have one guitarist, Unlucky Morpheus could cover it but Jill would have to adapt the piano to violin, and so on. Lastly, I don’t doubt Gacharic Spin could learn and play it if they wanted to, but it’s not exactly their style.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu Well, possible. They are all fantastic musicians and bands. The closest any entity can do justice to this LIVE performance is probably TSO. However, TSO essentially only has one lead guitarist who is Pitrelli. O'Neill played the guitar but his main roles were as a producer, composer and lyricist. I doubt if he was of similar level to either Midori and Miyako, and I seriously doubt if he could have formed a guitar duo with Pitrelli to harmonize the guitar solo parts. Other than that, TSO has tour or "guest" guitarists and other musicians/orchestras who make up a lot of their LIVE shows. Also, Gacharic Spin has one lead guitarist who is Tomo-Zo. One of the main features of "A Frozen Serenade" is the precise guitar harmonization parts.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu I have a different view than some others. I think A Frozen Serenade should be looked at more like a very well written song, rather than something that cannot be emulated by another band. I mean to really avoid emulation, Lovebites would need to push things substantially harder than this (on every single member), and that would even include pushing Fami to the extent of her capabilities as well. I say this because I think we can easily get taken in by our favorite band; everyone thinking their favorite band is the best (believing that they can’t ever be copied). I also don’t think another band missing something (like a pianist, violinist, or whatever it is) is really proof of much. Like if a fan of Unlucky Morpheus said Lovebites cannot play a certain song of theirs, and it was because Lovebites doesn’t have a violinist, it isn’t proof that Unlucky Morpheus is better, even though it is being said in a way to suggest that Unlucky Morpheus is better.
@@SomethingToDo360 From the perspective of technical ability and with reference to the individual members of the band, this is actually not a "hard" song for Lovebites to play. The complexity is in the flow of how this song is performed LIVE. I meant replication literally - show me a band that can package/deliver the harmonized riffs/solos, the breakdown in the middle where Midori transitions to acoustic guitar and Miyako to piano, then both of them jumping back in immediately to precisely harmonize their solos, and not to mention Asami's ballet cameo which adds a lot to the story and performance of the entire track. In terms of "difficulty" associated with technical ability per se, I will say the LIVE versions of "Swan Song" with the Chopin intro, "Under the Red Sky" and "Winds of Transylvania", and so forth will be ahead of "A Frozen Serenade".
Thank you for your comment. There are countless diverse rock groups in Japan, many of which are world-class. In addition to this group, there are others such as "Band-Maid," "Baby Metal," "One OK Rock," and many others. Please give these groups a listen.
Sorry I've got to say this... Lovebites = best metal band on earth today Band-Maid = best hard rock band on earth today Babymetal = an entertainment project made by producers
