The kawaii counterpart of Animal! (Would be fun to see her in a drum battle like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3AZz9TSjZCM.html )
LOVEBITES - Don't Bite The Dust lyrics: The rain keeps falling and falling I am crying all alone again Time is passing me by Not knowing of what it's gonna be But then I realized that I was only building my own wall It's not too hard to find what's wrong So I gotta stand up, bring it all together This game has only begun Can I only stay the way I am? Breaking the silence in the darkness I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in I don't wanna bite the dust All I have is a ghost of a chance Never to forget what I've lost I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost I don't wanna bite the dust Even if it's me against the world I'm gonna fight until I die But then I realized that I was only building my own wall It's not too hard to find what's wrong So I gotta stand up, bring it all together This game has only begun Can I only stay the way I am? Breaking the silence in the darkness I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in I don't wanna bite the dust All I have is a ghost of a chance Never to forget what I've lost I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost I don't wanna bite the dust Even if it's me against the world I'm gonna fight until I die I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in I don't wanna bite the dust All I have is a ghost of a chance Never to forget what I've lost I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost I don't wanna bite the dust Even if it's me against the world I'm gonna fight until I die I'm breathing and alive ----- lyrics: miho music: miho & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
thanks for come back to Lovebites, this song so fun and easy listening. as others have said, Frozen Serenade & Epilogue are a ballad masterpiece. Live or studio record are welcome to review it. Thank you
I hope you enjoyed your vacation and welcome back, this song is from their 2017 EP (aka official demo used to get them signed by Victor Entertainment) called “The LOVEBITES EP” and was released the same year as their official full debut album “Awakening from Abyss” (2017)
First song from the first EP and the first music video from Lovebites. Their first EP was only a demo for the publisher, but they like it so much they recorded and published.
Not a new song, this is actually their oldest song. It is one of their shortest in length too, which is why the guitar solo came early. Since their first music video was of this song, they probably intentionally made it shorter and with a more commercial sound to it to get people's attention since they were a new band. Also, since Asami was completely new to heavy metal this was a good starting point for her and more in her wheelhouse than something heavier. They are very experienced at playing it since it is an iconic song for them so they probably feel very comfortable and more likely to move around while playing it. It is also a high energy song which they have a lot of fun with so also a reason for more activity. I always love your reactions. And I have to say, Anastasia, you are also one of the prettiest reactors on RU-vid.🙂
"Don't Bite The Dust" is one of earliest songs from the band, and yes it feels a little different from all other songs that they have. It has a solid hard rock feels to it. I didn't like it much the first times I listened to it, but it grew on me and now I love the song cause it feels so unique (in a good way). Thanks for the reaction Luna, hope you enjoyed your vacation and feel refreshed now. Cheers!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
This is one of their first songs and was their first music video they made so they played it a lot at concerts so they tend to move around a lot more on stage when playing it live.
Thank you for kicking off your return with our favorite metal goddesses! You look happy so the break must have been good for you! This was one of their early songs, and the official MV was their first youtube post. Yes, it's an old-school rocker. It is also one of their least technical songs, and they could probably play it in their sleep, so when they do it live, they just cut loose and play around with it.
They love performing this song and it shows. It's just a lot of fun for everyone involved. The lighting is very fitting as well. But there are several other songs where they are more active on stage. And Asami has truly grown into an excellent frontwoman. She is able to command the whole stage. This is from their Heavy Metal Never Dies concert dvd/blu-ray. I highly recommend getting it as it is absolutely fantastic.
From France: "Don't Bite the Dust" is a track from their first studio album (Awakening from Abyss - 2017). Lovebites has always played this song on stage since their debut. It can be heard on previous live DVDs: "Daughters of the Down - Live in Tokyo" (2019) and "Five of a Kind - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo" (2020). ["Don't Bite the Dust" est un morceau de leur premier album studio (Awakening from Abyss - 2017). Lovebites a toujours joué cette chanson sur scène depuis leurs débuts. On peut l'entendre sur les précédents DVD live : "Daughters of the Down - Live in Tokyo" (2019) et "Five of a Kind - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo" (2020).]
@Marko L1977 Historically true! In fact, I had considered that the EP "Lovebites" was just a digest of the album "Awakening for Abyss". It's a mistake on my part that comes from the fact that I discovered the album before the EP ... But you are right. Thanks for correcting me.
their versatility is top notch. they can play rock to hard rock to thrash metal. they are technical. they have it all man!!!! they leave you speechless. they are the master of their craft.
Oh yeah, Lovebites again 🤘🐺 Other lovebites songs for vocal showcase: - Frozen Serenade - Epilogue Looking forward for next Lovebites reaction, thanks.
Thank you again for the vid. And for the cover, it was very good. It seems money is starting to flow for them, the production budget is increasing as it can be seen in this concert. Better makeup and dresses, more cameras, better illumination and effects, a choreographer for the show... And it pays. On the release week past month, their DVD made #3 on the most sold japanese music videos list, just below Babymetal that had just released the Budokan and was #2. That's some big words for Lovebites, and it also speaks about the health of japanese metal right now.
I always love your reaction to Love Bites. Asami was ex jazz-R&B singer. so if you want to know how she is you should check out " Dancing With The Devil" .LIVE at ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO 2020
I was about to recommend Dancing with the Devil. It has a nice groove to it and is another pretty unique song from them. I feel like it's massively overlooked.
Thank you for coming back to Lovebites! And once again great job with the Swan Song cover! This song was the first song they ever released back in 2017. Sounds better than ever in this fantastic performance! Asami does know how to command the stage and she is really active in these more upbeat songs, she gets your attention and doesn't let go. I want to suggest you their song "A Frozen Serenade" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v3dRckDw1GM.html I think you will enjoy it!! 🤘🐺🎸
Lovebites probably considers this one of their simpler, straight ahead rock songs so they are more relaxed. Another song that is more rock is Raise Some Hell from their latest album and written by Miyako.. They really cut loose and have fun with it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zamSQD0JUFk.html
This song, written by Miho, lyrics, & Miho/Mao, music. As said by others, an early promotional song and has been performed in every released concert. Midori? Hot? SMOKIN' 100% !!!!! A human INFERNO!!!!! Yeah, I love that smile too... and her back-bend & shredding 'under' the outro/chorus is unsurpassed in Rock and/or Metal!
Midori is a real "Bomb" on stage !!! She is an excellent shredding rock guitarist and has a real and great purely rock attitude and very easy on stage. She projects all the relentless power of her guitar playing onto the crowd with obvious pleasure. Midori has certainly been my favorite guitarist for decades ... Not because she's a woman, but because she's an accomplished musician and guitarist. And that devastating smile! That smile ! Damned !!! Hard-Heavy-Speed, who cares, she's a Rock Goddess!
Agreed with each of your words, buddy (and also with the initial comment of dregeye) MIDORI 💚⚡🎸⚡💚
This is their 1st hit from 2017, simple compared to their later works but still wicked good when you consider the sterile arena they were playing in (less than 50% capacity, assigned seats, social distance, no yelling, screaming, or shouting and clapping only). This entire album, Heavy Metal Never Dies, has 7 songs done LIVE for the 1st time and this is one of them. The concert was Asami's coming out party as she dominated the stage, the crowd and kept the band and concert going. The little Napoleon really ascended to total stage general during this 2 hour blast and her vocals were thundering all night over the various layers playing behind her!! This was a warm up for these insanely talented women but nonetheless still epic. Great reaction as usual and I love the intro song by you! Hey add the new Sabaton video/song Christmas Truce 1914 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HPdHkHslFIU.html) to your list, the video is a movie quality story of one of the few spots during the Great War where humanity was not lost among the sides. You look rested so glad you are back and really amped up to go (LOL)!!
Check also another all female Heavy Metal/Hardrock Band NEMOPHILA - latest songs Revive, Blooming, Dissension, Raitei(Thunder) HANABIE - songs We Love Sweets, LCG, Reiwa App. Gene BANDMAID - latest live songs Dice, Sense, Warning, Thrill, Manners
Asami reminds me so much of the worlds cutest little fairy 'Tinkerbell' by the way she moves & flits about sometimes. When you react to 'A Frozen Serenade', (and you will) you will really see what I mean.
Welcome back. I'm glad you had a great vacation. Everybody of Livebites is happy with this tune, even Miyako is dancing because this is the opener of their carrier for their success. This is their first release and the first video clip. They play this in every live show. Something different and new? Try this. A Frozen Serenade. It is very technical and also beautiful. It is a show case of their versatility and incredible skill, and great stage performance. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v3dRckDw1GM.html
Anastasia, I know that you like symphonic metal and I have a band for you to check out. The are a Japanese band called Galneryus and my pick for you is Angel Of Salvation. Their MV is AMAZING but if you can find it, there is a live version that is turned up to 11!
If you wanna check out Nicola Sedda. He has bigger vocal range than Dimash. Actually his highest note is F10. That makes him the singer with the biggest voice in the world. Because his vocal range is (C1-F10). Scientists even say that the highest note that an ordinary person can make is up to F10. If you don't believe me, watch the video on his RU-vid channel, where he demonstrates his entire vocal range. Initially, start with the song "The Miracle". You will ask why I tell you all this, because you are a fan of rock music, and he himself is a rock star, because sometimes in some of his videos he makes the devil horn sign, and in all of his songs you will hear incredible heavy guitar playing, but sometimes his voice changes from rock singing to high classical or opera singing. which even goes beyond the limit of normal singing. The music he makes is the style of bands like Rush, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Dream Theater and others. I hope you like and enjoy Nicola Sedda vocal range.
Hey Anastasia. Still waiting for another Epica reaction and now there is a perfect moment 😊. Epica has released a live video from their virtual concert of their most epic song "Kingdom of Heaven Part 3". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BdBCVMD8TiM.html - you will be blown away completly. Promised.
If you think Midori is hot you will love Osaka. Midori is very Osaka looking. I've spent a lot of time in Osaka (my favourite city in Asia) and you will see a lot of women that look like her walking around.
Yeah but how many of them is one of the best guitarist in the World ? It's not only her look but also her smile, her attitude and her incredible skills that make her so attractive. There's only one MIDORI 💚💚💚
