This Japanese Ladies Metal Band shows to Western Metal Bands dude how to play Metal.....🤭🤭🤭 MIHO fingering the bass when she did the bass solos...FAMI thumping/slapping the bass when she do the bass solos...
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. The first live videos of the following songs are now available. "LOVEBITES / Nameless Warrior [Official Live Video taken from "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate"]"
On Saturday, Lovebites streamed a 90 minute pre-order preview of this DVD. I know the DVD is 2 days, plus they didnt play any songs that had Miyako on piano, so theres still plenty of unseen content, but that 90 minutes kicked ass! It just wasn't only music, they also put on a phenomenal show. How this band is not a world wide sensation is a mystery.
It’s not really a mystery. Skill doesn’t equal popularity, metal has never been the biggest genre, and LOVEBITES isn’t doing anything new. LOVEBITES, in Miho’s own words, plays music that they grew up listening to. Two of the biggest bands in Japan are Babymetal and Wagakki Band, two bands that offered something novel and accessible, something that hadn’t been seen before, and both became huge fast because of it. I love LOVEBITES, I tried to join them as their bass player, but it’s obvious why they’re not bigger than they are.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu That wasn't literal, it was rhetorical. I grew up in thrash and metal; from the days of jean jackets and patches, upturned Suicidal Tendencies hats and Dave Mustaine still in Metallica. I've been into all kinds of guitar music, as well as an amateur guitarist, for over 35 years. I owned Loudness' "Thunder In The East" on cassette tape, and I saw Babymetal perform at Rock On The Range when they weren't as popular as they are now. Music in general, has been my lifetime recreational vice, but thank you for the history lesson.
Midori competes in body building and has one a prize or two. Lovebites is another band on bucket list to see live. I've seen Nemophila twice and I'm going to see Band-Maid a second time on Monday.
Nice reaction. DVD out August 23rd. this was the first release, and they also released "Nameless Warrior" official video in advance of the release. I always bring up when I hear the words female or Japanese in these reactions, that those are labels/buckets not deserving of Lovebites. Musically they every much deserve to be spoken in the same sentence as the past greats like Priest, Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, whoever. It's totally irrelevant to label them Japanese or all female as their music is simply that good. Midori competes in bikini competitions and has actually placed lately.
The difference between the two songs is simple, this one is the opener in there first show with FAMI on bass and after that break they where ready to "ROCK!"
The dvd comes out on the 23rd yesterday they had a premier yesterday where everyone got to e-view the whole album early they chatted with us in the chat
