This song is maybe their best song ever, literally 1 year ago when Judgement Day come out, I heard the song like 20 times the first day and every time I found new things, this song is so awesome!
It's known that Midori loves a good workout, and this performance shows that she gets one playing Judgement Day!! Wow, fingers of fire!!! And all the while she looks like she's going to punish anyone who dares evade her justice! If she performs this song the same way in front of me in Atlanta next September, I will be justified for wearing an adult diaper!!
They've really brought Asami forward in the mix in this concert. That really highlights the power & clarity of her voice. She is so good. She penetrates the Soul.

"Knocking at Heaven's Gate" is a DVD they released of their 1st come back concert earlier this year. They've released 4 songs as videos from that concert/DVD: "Hammer of Wrath," "Judgement Day," "Nameless Warrior," and "Liar." They are also releasing a second DVD from their 2nd night of their comeback tour later this month - "Knocking at Heaven's Gate, Vol. II" They've release 1song as a video a few days ago - "Stand and Deliver." These are the only songs that have been released by Lovebites from those DVDs. Any other videos you may see from those DVDs are bootlegs and not approved by Lovebites or Victor Entertainment. In fact, Lovebites has asked people not to release bootleg songs from the DVD. So please, out of respect for Lovebites, don't react to any songs from these DVDs other than the ones they've released. Best metal band on the planet. I would stick to official live and music videos from their channel cause their record company will take down any videos not released by them. I saw this concert on here a few days ago then searched for it the next day to see if it was still there and couldn't find it, so just a heads up.
This is my favorite song by my favorite band, both all-time. Best solo run I've ever heard, and what brings that home is the work of Fami and Haruna, both playing integral parts in the solo run. Fami's bass lines are sick in this song, and to think she only had a few weeks to rewrite them per Miyako's wishes (who wrote the original bass lines for a bassist she didn't know who it would be). Great reaction to this complete epicness.

_Killer_ song, crushing performance. What else is there to say. Perfect start, amazing delivery, perfect finish. I personally _love_ Fami playing her bass guitar here like e third (deep tuned) melodic guitar. Her lines are audible throughout the whole song, her fingers dancing all across the fretboard. 😊Playing in the rhythm section, but also contributing to the melodies. Amazing. Simply Fami. 😊 And I _love_ Haruna's use of her Ice Bell. 😊
This is great version of this song(from 1st day=Fami’s debut gig) But、the more I listened to "Stand and Deliver"(2nd day version =probably Asami’s best vocal performance ever)、I looked forword to listen to "judgment Day" 2nd day version from new DVD (DVD will released December of this year)．
Asami amazed me as well being able to nail the vocal on "Stand and Deliver" live in concert. When I first heard the album version, I honestly wondered if it could be done.
I think the most technical female vocalist from japan is Mari Hamada． But、Asami has expressive power that captivates people all over the world than Mari Hamada．
Last year, when they announced the relaunch of Love Bytes, they held auditions for bassists regardless of nationality, age, or gender. Out of hundreds of applicants, the final choice was FAMI, who was still a college student and had no previous band experience, rather than someone closer in age, more experienced, and with better technique. Some fans were concerned about her appointment, so they asked fans to help them decide if their choice was the right one. The album was titled "Judgment Day" in order to let the fans decide whether it was the right choice or not.
When this was premiered on 24th December last year the earth resounded to the collective thud of every single Wolfpack members jaws meeting something solid. Better still I’m in the front row dead centre.
Is this the only band that has more live releases than full studio album releases? Not that I have a problem with that 😊😊. I can't get enough of either.🤘🤘

It's funny you say it's like a nightmare.. go watch the official MV.. lol. This was their comeback track with Fami after their year hiatus. Boy were the fans hungry when it was known that they had a new bass player and were ready to jump back into the fray, but I don't think anyone dared to hope for what "Judgement Day" delivered, never mind the whole album.
5:53 in your video, when Midori-san swings the left arm off the guitar and stares down the audience just gets me every time. They are all beasts, but that look.... egads.
They are coming to the US for a festival next fall. I’m hoping they add shows for a tour. If not they are simply another trip to Japan for me. Definitely in my very top bands. ❤️🐺
Judgement Day is the title track of the current Album and when they released the MV for this almost a year ago it shocked us all ... the less involved ones were like "this is not playable live" eeeehm then Lovebites went "hold my sake" as usual... the whole Album is full of "unplayable" songs and they did it again on the tour, saving the real painful soldier stands solitarily to close the set,because they can ...higher,faster,bigger,better - every time !!! I grew up watching the giants of the genre coming up, from opening act to arena-filling headline status and not one has impressed me like these ladies do - after almost 3 years of daily lovebites i still can´t watch them without getting choked up and teary eyed ....

While the ladies killed it live, I'm not a fan of this live mix; Midori's guitar is too loud and dominates. I'm a guitar player by trade and while the guitar solo insanity is fun, Fami is really the star on this one. Listening to the studio version, my god, what she's doing underneath those solos is fantastic. And the little lick she plays during the chorus is just tasty as hell.
