The bass line on this song is so tasteful 🤩 the solos, haruna on fire, asami is getting better and better with the passage of time. The best metal band, period.
After an absolutely phenomenal LIVE stream show from the ladies a few hours ago, they released this video from "Knockin' at Heaven's Gate", it's almost too much. BUT when it comes to Lovebites, it's NEVER too much !
_That exactly_ is one of my thoughts since I got to know them: how excellent and outstanding they _really_ are. Personally, I think, that even The Wolf Pack does not have a clue of what they are _really_ able to do. Often I think, that as soon as they unpack and display their real skills and musical fantasies in the course of their rehearsals, the fans might just _faint_ listening to it and watching it. 😂 Maybe Lovebites are a few times more skilled and insane (in the nice way!) than we think, but they just keep that from us, not to overwhelm us. 😁
These ladies. I’m a guitar player and love M&M. I’ve always been fascinated with drums and Haruna is up there with the best metal drummers.Asami doesn’t usually get enough love, great range, beautiful voice and lady. Fami, world class, I hope to see some cool things from her on the next record.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu Absolutely. Until I heard about Lovebites (almost 2 _months_ ago), I had 2 drum heroes: Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) and Daniel Löble (Helloween). Then Lovebites came, and I quickly fell in love with Haruna's drumming. 😂
It’s always great when Midori and Miyako go side by side. Fami is solid on Miho’s basslines, Haruna is the usual precision machine she always is, and Asami sounds great. Couldn’t ask for more with this one.
Your enjoyment was obvious with the almost constant grin you were wearing throughout the song....awesome for sure! This one has been a 'grower' for me. Liked it the first time thru for sure....love it now!! Every one in this band is extraordinary, I just love 'em!!
I would love to see an isolated video of Haruna during this song - I've seen Drum Majorettes that twirl their batons as well as she twirls her sticks throughout this song without missing a beat ❤
Lovebites always give me goosebumps when they play...That was Faaaaaantastic song Miyhaco she is really a golden touch she does'nt mist one note on her solo guitar, Midori still FANTASTIC crazy shredder, she and Miyako are the best and amazing duo guitars ..no doubt about. Fami she is perfect bassist and so skilled i heard her sound so clearly she is really a perfect menber of the band..Haruna amazing drummer she is my preferite drummer ..sooooo talented i dont know yet someone else that coud give that sudden change of ritm so easy and keeping the beat as she does . Asami voice she is a Queen with big " Q " she is amazing vocalist she knows how to sing her voice is melody to my hears ..I've loved that song so much ..Thank you to you man to react to those talented ladies, they deserve to be globally recognized as Metal music players queens .
Never have I seen a band such as Lovebites in my 50yrs on this planet. And I've seen many good ones Big 4, Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, Metal Church, ST, Cooper, Scorpions, Lamb of God, all the popular hair bands. But none of them compare to these ladies. So much talent in this band surprised the roof doesn't blow off when they perform. All those going to Prog Power 2024 in Atlanta next Sep; if they've never heard Lovebites...dear lord, I will pray for them. Hopefully a reaction video for EJ's percussionist?? 😊🤘
From what i can tell from their social media and interviews, Midori and Miyako also practice a lot together outside the studio at each other's house! In addition to the normal studio practice. The whole band is always pushing to be better every time! They release this one after today's livestream, so cool! 🤘🐺🤘 Thanks Joel!

As an Infinite player myself, I love seeing Miyako using her Infinite "Strat." I thought it sounded fantastic, both on her solo parts and in particular with how it blends with Midori's tones. They combine beautifully, and you can pick each one out even more readily than with MYK's Dean guitars. Infinite tends to use Bare Knuckle pickups from the UK (Infinite's an Osaka maker), a brand I've always found to be outstanding, and if that's what's in her Infinite, I wouldn't be surprised.
It's been a great day for Lovebites, first they Live Streamed their tour final with a lot of new songs and now drop this. Sadly they've cut the piano performance of miyako she played as an intro to this track that was pretty awesome.
