Just got my tickets for the L.A. show. After the first day of ticket sales, the show was upgraded to a bigger venue. I'm so happy they're finally doing shows in the U.S.
Fun times, so cramped in there but those people were at least lucky to be so close to the ladies. I wonder who got Midori's pick. Hopefully the venue will be larger for the other shows. 🤘🐺🤘
Asami got lost in the moment for a bit, but she's so professional and stayed in time and that's what I appreciate about her! Great performance. Bravo ladies! 🤘🤘🤘
man they could even make playing in a toilet nice and classy, who cares about the venue when everyone, band and audience, had so much fun? cant wait to see them live in milan next week
I'm torn. This must have been an awesome show for the audience, and I LOVE the live video, but I would have been frustrated being there. The stage is too small and too low and with all the people holding their phones up, once one got three persons deep into the crowd, no one could see the stage. Still, I would have loved to have been there. There HAS to be a back story of why they played this venue.
The thing with the phones was really irritating, and always is at gigs. By all means, snap a few pictures through the show. But videos are pointless, because people are blocking so many others' views and they're going to sound awful compared to any official releases (this one is fine, because the guy taking it wasn't in front of anyone), and they'll never watch them back more than once anyway. People don't know how to live in the moment any more and just enjoy what they're watching.
@@PaulEMoz So few people have figured it out because they want 'close up footage' but the best. I mean The Best place to do video from is right in front or behind where the guy running the main board is. Usually dead center, halfway back or at the very back of the room. The sound is perfectly leveled and balanced there. Even a phone mic will be pretty good. not "line out from the board" good, but better than anywhere else in the venue. I am old enough to remember when half the point of going to a concert was knowing you wouldn't remember almost anything and the t-shirt was the only proof you were there.😂 Though, to tell the truth, I wish cellphone cams were around for when I saw Metallica at Monsters of Rock 1988, Orange Bow, Miami.. There was actually a massive lightning storm coming up from behind the stage and it fit so perfectly. 🍻😁 🤘😎🤘
You have to consider the fact that the ladies love to be closer to their fans in order to be able to really engage with them, as proven during the fan club members' event last year in Tokyo. You should see how much both the band and the fans enjoyed that close interaction. You can see the same in this London show. In addition, Lovebites have not played overseas for a few years because of COVID and Miho's departure when they went into hiatus. So they are currently testing the market outside of Japan which is the right thing to do
Guess they are mainly in Europe because of the summer-festivals end of the month: hellfest, resurrection fest & roskilde, which are huge with 10000s of people… these few club gigs are just to warm up for it. I‘m happy, since I don’t like the too big venues… see them in Lindau, which at least is 600+ (and not sold out yet!).
they deserve a huge stadium but damn that must have been so cool to be that close to them and so nice to see they are not too proud to still play these small gigs and seem to be having just as much fun as the crowd
yes.... thank you for sharing this! Especially for those of us that couldn't be there! [Although, I'm a little sad at the small venue, but I'm sure that this was even more special for all the folks that were there]
LOVEBITES - Glory to the World lyrics: Everything around us will fall into dark When you keep on looking into the sadness Nobody in this world may ever be free My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light in this world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow A blur in the future, the fear of unknown There will come a time where we can leave everything behind Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky Together we will make it through this deep night Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me SOLO: midori / miyako / both And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together, Nothing more precious ----- lyrics: asami music: midori & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Glory, Glory To The World 03/10/2021
it is understandable, lovebites itself play classical metal from 80's and 90's era such as heavy metal, thrash metal, power metal, speed metal meanwhile the youngsters today prefer nu metal, metalcore, hardcore, alternative, but for me, personally, metal classic from 80's and 90's era is still the best
@@MetalOxide-wg8nd I'm fine with a small stage but this is too small and it's very rare for them to do concerts abroad. This stage is also not high enough. This small stage reminds me of when they first debuted overseas. Lovebites is my #1 favorite metal band right now and deserves a better stage. Don't get me wrong, friends, I don't blame this band and I also don't blame the stage providers in the destination country. I don't know who to blame, is it management? do they not have enough money and sponsors? I don't know. It's just that this doesn't match my expectations when I heard they were going to have a concert abroad. I just want their concerts abroad to make them more known to more people. There are so many people who don't know their work, even metal fans.
My word, you were at the New Cross Inn. I was there as well. It was a good gig, but cramped. I wish the stage was higher. Security told me it was at full capacity of 300. Lovebites are back in London on 1st July in London. So those who missed out getting tickets for New Cross Inn gig will be at July gig will be there.
Hey dude. Was in part of the windowsill protection racket at the gig sitting next to you. Cheers of the coke (the drink type!!!!) Just thought I would chuck up a list of other bands in case you haven't run into to some of them and in case any of them work for you. You will know a lot / most of them I expect.
