Very few reviewers do this and look at a second version of a song. Kudos for doing it. Yes, they are the same songs but each performance is unique. Thanks for doing this. "Break the Wall" is unique, a thrash song as good as any in history, with a blues solo in the middle. And a gorgeous one, at that.

even for lovebites a remarkable show: miyako in the second trimester of her pregnancy, a superb performance although the audience was covid restricted, the last show with miho, also the last show for two years.

The headbanging by all the members during "Shadowmaker" was not a move that was decided from the beginning, but rather came naturally as they performed the song live over and over.

Former bassist Miho composed the foundation for “Break The Wall”, while Miyako then added ‘color’ too the composition. Miyako composed the melodic solo in the middle with Gary Moore in mind.

"Break the Wall" is my favorite live recorded thrash song ever. Thrash & Speed are my favorites. A few of my all-time favorite thrash songs for reference: "Class Dismissed" - Exodus "Over the Wall" - Testament (another wall 😂) "Hostage to Heaven" - Grip Inc. "Fade Away" - Heathen "Chemical Warfare" - Slayer This song just blends everything I heard in the 80's thrash scene, with that incredible solo run. Love "Shadowmaker". Miyako's short solo at the end of the solo run is one of my favorite short moments of any song. Great doubleshot.

When I first saw your thumbnail, I thought I was suffering from déjà vu 😂 Yes, these, in my opinion, are the best LIVE versions (those on YT anyway) of the respective songs. Miyako's Les Paul in this version of "Break the Wall" made such an enormous difference here. As for "Shadowmaker," if you put this LIVE version side-by-side with the studio track, you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference. Any difference is pretty nuanced. The performance, mixing and mastering of this LIVE version of "Shadowmaker" are pretty close to perfect.

Asami「休んでる暇ないよ〜」😆

The only two singers that are able to sing as high as Asami and sustain high notes would be Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Geoff Tate of Queensryche. Shadowmaker is one of my favorite song since it was the second release in Sept. 22, 2017 on RU-vid. I for one am very impressed that you went ahead and checked out the songs for the second time, I don't believe I have ever seen this before. Sure some of may have given the reactor a link to a better version but no one ever did it like you have, awesome job. You just won my subscription to your channel sir.

There's a lot of good bands out there and a fair few great bands, but there is only one lovebites, and the raw talent they possess is frightening, it was a sad time when Miho left because she is so good, she'll always be remembered but she has gone and now we have Fami, a phenom herself so the gods were kind to us. Great reaction and keep going forward. I don't know what the problem is with a certain commenter, but so much disrespect is out of order so take no notice of the idiot. 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺

i think the major reason i like this version of break the wall better is miyako's solo. here she uses the les paul rather than the dean ml dimebag and the tone is much cleaner and suited to the bluesy style of the solo. and of course midori's face to the crowd and heart attack leanback in her's. and now you know why miho's nickname is the natural born headbanger. and if galloping guitars are your pleasure 'golden destination' is probably their finest of that type. make sure to do the live version from 'heavy metal never dies tokyo dome city hall 2021 as opposed to the official mv. absolutely a killer song
