Metal to me has always been about an expression of individuality. Lovebites embrace that logic by their appearance, there's a certain charm and elegance abt those white dresses. I wouldn't change anything abt them...there INCREDIBLE!!!

Yes, these are Lovebites, our beloved Heavy Metal daughters of the dawn. This classic 80's heaviness is the reason why the ladies have a large, rapidly and steadily growing fan base around the globe. Another convert to the wolf pack. So cool. The Pentagram & wolf theme started with the artwork on their album "Electric Pentagram". Acording to Miyako, the Pentagram (being a symbol of protection) represents that LOVEBITES are protecting Heavy Metal, with the 5 points representing each member of the band. The wolf symbolises that LOVEBITES are the 'Lone Wolf' in the music scene playing the non-mainstream genre of heavy metal. The whole 'Wolfpack' theme grew from there.
What else can I say about Lovebites? I discovered this band two years ago and I’m still in owe. They are versatile, exceptional musicians. So, for a different side of them I recommend the songs “Etude+Swan song”, “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “Edge of the world”, “Frozen serenade”, “Dancing with the devil”, “Spellbound” (all live if possible). Miyako is a concert-level pianist. Lovebites fans are from all over the world.
Thunder Vengeance was written by the bassist and the band founder Miho. Miho is deeply influenced by the 70/80s BHM and a big fan of Maiden and Priest. She even plays bass in a similar manner like Steve Harris.

Although perhaps, it was a very powerful song, if you want to continue with the same power I recommend the songs "Awakening, the hammer of wrath"" Holly war""Set to the world on fire". I have been watching this band since 2019 and the thing that I love about them is their talent out shines their appearance in so many ways the dress thing is just what many Japanese bands use to separate themselves from other bands (a visual gimmick) as for LOVEBITES the ladies are very petite women so it’s hard to see them on stage in venues that are dark that’s why they are in white, for me female artists in the west unfortunately use their sexuality to sell their talent, LOVEBITES don’t in my opinion it’s just an accessory to me their music is what I like them for they are just that good oh and this song was written by Miho (Bassist) she wrote this song after seeing Slayer at a DOWNLOAD festival in Japan
AND..... the wolfpack keeps on growing! Their outfits and their beauty might be a "gimmick"... if they weren't so badass on their instruments and songwriting! But the music is so solid, it doesn't even matter how they dress! Their beauty is the icing on the cake. And it's a huge cake!
That was one of the best first time reactions I have seen on RU-vid, sharing it with your spouse to see their enjoyment. This was only the first song of the concert. It is total fire! I've been at this since 2017 and haven't cooled off 1iota, as a matter of fact, it's just getting hotter. I do have to take more frequent naps though.😆😆🤘🏾
There are two perfectly good logical explanations as to why they wear dresses, and in particular, WHITE dresses: 1. SO THEY CAN BE SEEN. The ladies are fairly short. Miyako (stage right, Dean guitarist next to the piano) is the tallest at 5’ 2”, while the shortest is Haruna (drummer) at 4’ 9”. If they wore what other bands wore (mainly black), they’d be eaten up by all of the gear on stage. Wearing white allows them to be seen on stage. 2. Who said metalheads had to dress trashy and have nothing but day old, ripped up clothes? They are women who not only play hard, but like to look good while they play hard. They can go as hard as Slayer, Priest, Iron Maiden, and Helloween while carrying a Louis Vuitton purse.. plus they can easily do it IN HEELS. A 3rd reason: metal was always the ANTI to everything mainstream. If you want to see what could be metal in Japan, have a look for “visual kei”. That’s metal over there. LoveBites is the metal to metal.

As for the colored wolf logos at the beginning of the intro, each color represents each of the 5 members Asami - Red Miho - Purple Haruna - Orange Miyako - Blue Midori - Green As for the outfits the color white was chosen because its opposite of the usual darker colors usually seen in the metal scene and they wanted the outfits to represent their sophistication from their personal lives
Too many people miss out because they have very fixed ideas of what Metal is. My first Metal gig was Sabbath in 1976 and I've seen Metal change so much from that time, when Heavy Metal was the only genre. Since Slipknot shook things up 20 years ago, not a lot has happened in the west...but Japanese bands like Lovebites are making a whole range of Metal and it's all good.

Been following your channel for a while now - I love the way you are, especially when it's the two of you. I'm a mad member of the Nightwish Army and Lovebites. I know it's a personal choice of yours (which I totally respect btw) but I have to wholeheartedly disagree with you about Babymetal - it's all about the music , period! They never set out in those early days to push any kind of sexuality whatsoever - obviously you are going to get a very sad minority of people with unhealthy views, but then again they will also with this Lovebites video too! Recent Babymetal attire especially is totally Asexual - that was done for a reason! I am 54 and it's always been about the music - even my Wife and I have become very protective of those fine young ladies and you'll find so many people think the same as I do. You're obviously a very intelligent man, but I can't help but feel you're being a little prejudiced here. Apologies if I offended you - I just wish that you could do an up to date video within the last couple of years and you'll see why I and many thousands of others love them. They are originally from Osaka, Japan, lets's just say I was way before motely crue whom I don't like way too gimmicky a lot of the hair bands of the '80s ruined for me and that made me a very picky person about who I listen to. I totally agree with you on the baby metal issue, besides metal should not be about dancing little girls or dressed up as maids come on man it is way too gimmicky and I hate that crap
