M&M at its finest. This band is a True Super Group. Their form and execution is as flawless as it gets. Class,Style,Shred,Gallop,Sick Tones,Amazing Percussion,etc..... Perfection.
Lots going on in this song. Pristine gallops, Midori making use of the slide at 4:18, and a very, very pregnant Miyako! The woman is an absolute beast to gut these shows out, standing nearly 2hrs playing at this speed. Great selection...onward to Above the Black Sea live 2019 which is about WWII Japanese Kamikazes. 🤘
This is the "Sequel" song to the song Apocalypse. If I understand the story correctly, Apocalypse is about before the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima while this song is about the hope and resilience of the people after the bombings.
One of my fav. This song has special vibes because it's written in a different format and added element. It becomes simply epic on stage by these ladies.
But what a beautiful song! I can't think of any other definition. And what a good vibe there is between them. It is noticed and transmitted. I adore them!
LOVEBITES - Under The Red Sky lyrics: Rupture of the Heavens Blinding rays piercing through on a killing spree Looming in the distance, come the thundering roars of calamity Eerie bitter silence, from the whirling black smoke and insanity Time has stopped and frozen Held my breath with the death of humanity If somewhere God really exists How would He take our shame and great disgrace? Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget At the edge of this grey world Holding you tight Searching for a glimpse of hope that we can still believe in SOLO: midori / miyako Pounded by the black rain, while the world is engulfed in a bloody sea Stolen in a moment; everything, everyone lost to history If somewhere God really exists How would He take our shame and great disgrace? Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget But again I will find you And take your hand Cause I know, together we are stronger than this nightmare Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget At the edge of this grey world Holding you tight Searching for a glimpse of hope that we can still believe in Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget But again I will find you And take your hand Cause I know, together we will find a way to overcome SOLO: both / midori ----- lyrics: asami music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Battle Against Damnation EP 06/06/2018

How great is the M&M show? You just got a sample of what they are capable of and they practice together away from the band chasing perfection. The Sgt. Pepper straight-jackets couldn't stop these musicians and the COVID dead arena couldn't even dent their epic awesomeness performance.
Hi from France: This concert, which was played during the very severe covid restrictions in Japan, was superbly held, if we except the atmosphere of the crowd, which was a little dampened by these restrictions (do not move from your place, remain seated and hold a distance between each spectator, no shouting, just applauding...). However, regarding this recording, I find it a shame that the sound mixing overwhelms Midori's playing a little. She performs an almost uninterrupted sequence of solos throughout this piece. And which solos? LOVEBITES is starting a world tour these days which will first pass through Europe and perhaps we will have the opportunity to see Midori play on equipment other than ESP, since she recently did the acquisition of an SG!!!! Enjoy Wolfpack!
