This is one of those songs that stand out for me, every different element from vocals to drums the breakdowns and riffs and the sheer beauty of the performance. How Asami completely controls the crowd, especially at the end is mesmerising to put it mildly. Don't bite the dust is another one and dancing with the devil and.....you get the gist 🎤🥁🎹🤘🎸🐺🇬🇧
This and Above The Black Sea so under-rated. They both have great F riffs, and that gallop...hell yes! Best guitar duo in the biz!! Love Midori using the Slide in this one. Nice 2 GEN! Don't forget Signs of Deliverance. 🐺🦊

3:25 "That bit's sick." Yes! 🤘 I love everything about this song: the verse melody, the chorus melody, the solos, but especially the breakdown. Keeping with the theme of the song, it sounds so ominous. Starting at around 4:21 on this video, it reminds me of sirens. Easily one of my top 5 Lovebites songs. Thanks, 2GEN!
Very muscle and solid metal start. Haruna and Miho's sound so damn good. I don't know which song is the best song from this brilliant band, Lovebites. Thanks again 2 gen.. 👍👍🤘🤘🔥
LOVEBITES - Under The Red Sky lyrics: Rupture of the Heavens Blinding rays piercing through on a killing spree Looming in the distance, come the thundering roars of calamity Eerie bitter silence, from the whirling black smoke and insanity Time has stopped and frozen Held my breath with the death of humanity If somewhere God really exists How would He take our shame and great disgrace? Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget At the edge of this grey world Holding you tight Searching for a glimpse of hope that we can still believe in Pounded by the black rain, while the world is engulfed in a bloody sea Stolen in a moment; everything, everyone lost to history If somewhere God really exists How would He take our shame and great disgrace? Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget But again I will find you And take your hand Cause I know, together we are stronger than this nightmare Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget At the edge of this grey world Holding you tight Searching for a glimpse of hope that we can still believe in Sin in the sky It was that moment when I saw you smile A suffering I will never forget But again I will find you And take your hand Cause I know, together we will find a way to overcome ----- lyrics: asami music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Great Reaction again 2 Gen. The Lyrics - "Rupture of the Heavens, Blinding rays piercing through on a killing spree" - are a reference to the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima in 1945. It has two parts, which repeat during the song. The first is chaotic (like the event would be), and then breaks into a more positive chord structure and they sing of Hope for the Future - "Sin in the sky. It was that moment when I saw you smile. A suffering I will never forget. At the edge of this grey world, Holding you tight. Searching for a glimpse of hope that we can still believe in". I personally consider this one of the best and most moving songs I've ever heard - and I've been writing and producing music for almost 60 years.

Here on planet earth, feeble humans play with bits of wood and steel strings. They are, amusingly, known as Musicians. But there is a planet Lovebites. It is in a distant galaxy. Due to the speed of light, those images have taken several thousand light years to reach us. That means that these ladies are thousands of years ahead of anything us feeble humans call “music”. That’s the gap between Lovebites and ANY other band. Ever.
This Live became the last show, and this song became the last song for Miho, as the bassist of LOVEBITES. So, it makes me emotional. But, the new LOVEBITES will come back very soon🐺🔥🔥🔥
Yep, this is part two, the sequel to "The Apocalypse," both about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. I love that both songs are musically linked in that they're the only ones in the LB catalog that Midori uses a slide on. It sounds so good!
.."Sin in the sky, it was the moment when I saw you smile, a suffering I will never forget".. We all talk about musical genius Miyako, but Asami is no less genius with lyrics. So fkcn great and special song... thanks for the reaction :)
Had the same issue here. In the beginning I liked only ~5 songs and thought that's it with Lovebites. Now I got used to her and have ~ 5 songs I DON'T like (almost all from their first album). Music is too good to skip lovebites
