Thank you for reuploading, the last narrator sounded like he was talking at .75 speed. I'm glad I can now watch this again lol, this series is gonna be badass. Also is it just me or is the editing even better?

One of my five all time favorite Lovecraft stories and the one that first introduced me to dark fantasy and cosmic horror. Gou's illustrations complement it perfectly.

One of the things I found interesting with the writers of this time, I remember reading about the Author of Conan and Solomon Kane and the like. I'm unsure if the author who wrote about him was making fun of the author or not. Because he claimed that there were times when he came back to what he wrote. But he couldn't remember what had been written. The magazines that published his work asked him how he came up with them. He honestly said I don't remember. It felt like something was writing through me. There was writing about Howard trying to make the case that he was trying to claim that what he wrote about Conan was about a real person. Of a real group of people who once existed. I'm unsure if they said he committed suicide or if he drank himself to death. That they assumed he couldn't keep himself on the straight and narrow. Meaning that his mind was living in the far flung past and had taken a dark turn. They said maybe Lovecraft was of the same kind of thinking about his creations that to him they were completely true and correct to him.

I had first heard the same story ( HP Lovecraft's Call Of Cthulhu) by Wayne June but this is very new.

The narrator is fantastic, except the fact that he butchered the pronunciation of Cthulhu. How such a significant detail was overlooked in such a masterpiece of art?
