We're learning more about the victims of a deadly crash on the Lower East Side. Herman Pinkney, his mother Lucille, and another woman, Ana Morel, died after a suspected drunk driver plowed into a park Thursday night. CBS New York's Alecia Reid spoke with victims' loved ones.

@@andrewjoseph8739 causing death or permanent injury is worse than expensive fees. Also, I don't work in that field anymore, so take it up with the owners. Even so, lives can be saved by just one plastered person taking an Uber or a taxi home.

@@Plotddlet’s use the same logic we use for shootings. Put more restrictions on vehicles and alcohol. Alcohol shouldn’t be more than 2% abv with a purchase limit of 2 16oz bottles every 24 hours, background checks for alcohol related offenses, and limit vehicles to weigh no more than 1500lbs with 40 horsepower, and a built in breathalyzer that doesn’t allow the vehicle to start and any vehicle infraction strips you of your drivers license indefinitely.
