You will be happy to know the crank in that engine is silicone filled 14mm. Its not bad! i rebuilt mine with a losi 350 piston sleeve its a very strong engine even in a truggy. Rear bearing is 14x25.4x6 so its a good size bearing and the larger crank gives better bottom than the losi 350 and the older 13mm crank sh engines
WOW!!!! And that's a .21? That .21 has alot of power. For a .21 lol. I'm used to .26 and .28. It has that kind of power. It's definitely not a bottom end .21, that's for sure. Lol.
Im glad you said something about the carb.. I've been having a ton of issues with my dynomite mach II carb. Any thoughts on what temp a carb will hydro lock or boil fuel?
Helped my buddy break one of those Dynamite Mach 2 .21 engines in back in January, and it was sensitive to boil the fuel in the carb while trying to keep the engine hot with the heat gun just to idle about 6 tanks in. I don't mess with metal carb engines often since they're uncommon nowadays, but when I do, it makes me appreciate plastic body carbs that much more.
I plan to do a test to see exactly how much can be gained with a turbo plug. From my experience, it isn't much. When using a properly sized standard glow plug I can't tell much of a difference vs. turbo.
