This was a request for Jim Bell - Thanks for the suggestion Jim ! Hope you like it. 😊
The Electromaniacs were a Pinoy rock band founded and managed in 1960 by actor Jose Mari Gonzales. They are one of the more prolific instrumental bands from The Philippines. They released a beautiful tune called "Lovers Guitar" in 1960. "Lover's Guitar" was also released by The Fentones as the 'B' side to The Mexican in 1962, reaching Number 42 in the UK Charts.
Played on my Alan Brason Custom Stratocaster fitted with Kinman FV-HMS pickups on bridge position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-03
I made Tabs out of my arrangement which are FREE to download from my website here :-

The BT came from Roger Paulsson on his Vol 8 CD sites.google.com/view/backtra...
Sound recorded in Cubase SX6 and edited with the three 4K Video takes made with 3 Panasonic VX870 4K camcorders in Song Vegas Pro 14

One of the many musical hits of one of my favourite bands in Manila.....The Electros.....Ernie himself played all his tunes on a Gibson SG with home made amps and echo system.......he is maybe in his 80s now and still manage to play in a few gigs.....Once he played Guitar Boogie Shuffle with his rhythm guitarist....ON ONE GUITAR.....fantastic.....thanks for the memories . Hi Matthew - Yes it was short thank God as remembering those double stops is a nightmare LOL . the original band were new to me too but I have heard of The Fentones. It's rare to find a song that started out as an instrumental from the '60s other than by The Shadows or Ventures.. All the best Phil

Put it up a while ago Phil.Very decent number .It`s a great pity instrumentals went out .Up to the mop headed crew came on scene we used to have many group instrumentals .I blame them and Stones for the descent of good music .Yes one or two are ok but take likes of Yellow Sub says it all for me !
