Swiftpaw, the lone survivor of the zombie apocalypse and his zombie friend Brightpaw try to find a way to cure the zombified cats. In their search they receive a prophecy.

The last 8 months have been such a journey and I'm so glad I got to spend it with some of the most talented and inspiring animators i know. You all worked so hard and it shows, I owe this to you guys and the animators of mr fear 1 for bringing my silly zombie story to life. I love how Brightheart’s missing eye is yellow after she’s healed, showing Swiftpaw’s sacrifice of his living soul for her to continue on, almost like a part of him is living on inside her.

I find that a lot of MAPs are quite difficult to understand the plot and a lot of story can just be lost in the fast pace of the animation, and it can be hard to determine which character is which, due to the fact that there is no speech. But this MAP, along with all of Ginger's other MAPs, are so easy to understand what's happening at all times and the plot is portrayed by the animation so perfectly. I think this is a real skill we can credit to Ginger and the storyboarding, that the artist's were so easily able to bring the MAP to life, and paired with such incredible animators this is really a true masterpiece :0 incredible work

Such a brilliant M.A.P I actually cannot be the only one that ADORES The colouring the movements the designs I ESPECIALLY love the fact Swiftpaws backside has a mind of its own and can do its on things !!! Again AMAZING!!! But still Swiftpaws legs followed some of his body’s commands which was so cool and unique!!! Must have been hard to animate them both to move at the same time :D

6:06 HELLOOO this is so giving cartoon saloon’s wolf walker style, Its so gorgeous. I know what stands out to me about this map specifically is the variation of art styles. From the 3D to the sketched disneyish 2d or even the comic book type shadings, every part is so different but still flow beautifully and seamlessly.

I love that the animation tells a story and has meaning behind it, like how swiftpaw sacrificed himself for Brighthart telling how much he cared for her, and also the animation wasn’t to out of line like, it wasn’t to glory, while it kept a Walking Dead atmosphere. All of the talented animators did a great job.

I love the little details of Swift's back legs dancing around or struggling to catch up. I just find it such a fun detail. I love this au so much and this is def one of my favorites! The music choices too are amazing! And brightheart is finally getting the recognition she deserves, as well as swiftpaw! He's always been a fave of mine. Same with Longtail. I just wish that swiftpaw could've done more before he died. Anyways, amazing map, and good job to all the animators! It definitely paid off! ❤❤❤

(Reposting my comment here) OH MY GOSH THIS WAS SO GOOD, DUDE- I'm so glad all of these animators could come together to make SUCH A GOOD MAP. It's so sweet, and wrapped everything up perfectly!! I find the concept of Swiftpaw's ghost finding a way to communicate with and help Brightheart so darn precious, and the way that the MOONSTONE was the cure is genius!! And then Swiftpaw sacrifices himself for her at the end by transferring his life into her-?! Oh my heart... this is so beautiful!! Every artist did fantastic on this- each style flowed together SO well!! I'm so happy 😭💙

I saw the original upload earlier and I tell you, I cannot stop watching this on repeat. I didn't even notice that there was a WIP part in there! I had to look between both versions for a minute to notice the difference. Everything was fleshed out so well. Seeing Swiftpaw's rear try to keep up/getting distracted is too cute. The color choices in this map are amazing, I love the stark muddy green yellows and the bright sunset pinks and purples, it’s an odd combo, but it’s very beautiful.

What i love, is that Brightheart's and Swiftpaw's relationship doesnt even read as romantic. Its left out in the open for people to interpretate. Considering Swiftpaw is Brightheart's half uncle

That was just his paw going through the zombie. Since he couldnt physically interact with them and they couldnt see him. Thats why it was a big deal when brightheart could interact with and see him.

Idk if im correct, but the rabbit at 0:14 may be the reason the apocalypse happened in the first place I believe a cat caught this rabbit, not knowing its infected and maybe another cat decided to eat it, and not seeing the fungi grow on it Btw this map is amazing, but i would've liked it better if there were still a few cats left but it is what it is 🤷‍♂️

at 0:31 there is a cat-zombie with mushrooms growing on it as well. maybe that was the first zombie-cat that became infected and it infected other cats.

I asked this on the former upload and was hoping to eventually get a response by asking again here. Why did Firestar die and stay dead? He was zombified, shouldn't he be given his life back? Also, why was Longtail unable to contact Starclan but zombified Brightheart was? I know the implication was that all the deceased weren't in Starclan then, but why didn't the cats that saved the day in part 2 show up in part 1? I thought Swiftpaw couldn't reach them because he was dead, he had no physical body left, but Longtail was alive and uninfected. Im sorry if these were explained but Im just confused.

@@asyaschanel4015Wasn't what? Swift didn't die to zombies but was brought to life again, only to give that life to Bright, Fire did die to zombies like everyone else and still remained dead. I'm just confused how that works. I get why Bright wasn't brought back, she had already been given a second chance and died until Swift restores her. But Fire didn't give his life away on screen, he should've came back. He was zombified from the infection.

This map is the most brilliant and well thought out map I've seen in a while!! Everything fits into place...and a fabulous story of fate, friendship, despair, and hope is told! I don't think I've cried while watching a map before but this one changed that. Outstanding work to everyone!

I completly LOVE this map! I adore the relationship beetween Brightheart and Swiftpaw! The animations are such a masterpieces and the artists are soo talented! That was a long time for wait but it was worth it!!
