A COUPLE OF FOLLOW UP NOTES: If you are watching this video because you are trying to decide if you want to invest in a Sacational, please keep in mind this is ONE negative experience out of MANY positive ones. The Sactional wasn't a good fit for my lifestyle, but that doesn't mean it won't be a good fit for yours. If you KNOW a modular type of sofa is what you want and you have a higher budget to work with, then it may be a good investment for you. What it all comes down to is your lifestyle and cost vs product experience. As far as the covers go, many sales reps recommended the plush velvet ones saying they are the most durable and easy to clean. Please just keep that in mind. 💜
Thank you for the video, at 2:44 I cannot believe how sloppy it looks. I have been considering it. I'm older, on a fixed income, suffer from lupus and basically I'm home quite a bit so furniture for me gets used, because most often I have to rest on the couch. And let's face it when I'm home comfort is everything ☺️ anyhow, with that said serious if you have found Furniture but you're happy with. If so I would love to hear what brand and how it's holding up. I2m five-foot-eight, I'm not a fat ass, I'm average weight smiling emoji but as I said I like to lay around and get comfortable f anybody out there has any tips or advice please send them my way. Have a beautiful day ❤️
@@ritawashere5787 Glad I could help! & Thank you for watching 💜 The Sactional isn't a bad couch, it just isn't for everyone. I think most people are looking for a happy medium between comfort and aesthetic - and unfortunately I had a really hard time finding something that had both. The new couch I ended up with is a Chesterfield from Pottery Barn, which is definitely better looking than it is comfortable. Good luck on your search! It is exhausting!
I got my Lovesac back in 2011 and many years later it still holds up. Back then there was this insane deal for 4 sides, 2 base chocolate velvet for $1200. Then again, it must's been a younger company. It has gone through many apartment changes and we are planning to upgrade. Definitely it sounds like you may have had a bad store experience. I just went to my local Lovesac recently and my husband and I had WAY MORE knowledge than the salesperson. I recommend to anyone please go to the store, try it out, do your research, and make an informed decision.
@@truebengalsfan I know it's been a while since you asked, but just in case you are still shopping... We have had our Sactional for over three years, it gets daily hard use, and we LOVE it. We have the same type of fabric, but in a darker taupe and have not had any of the problems the reviewer had. We eat on it, have grandkids play on it and have a large, black, heavy shedder dog - no problems at all! I LOVE being able to pull the covers off and wash them, but have not had to do that very often. I will say, after three years, I am looking at replacing the most heavily used back cushion (not the cover), but like I said it has taken some hard use.
...so you're annoyed at the entire concept of this couch? lol. The whole point is that you can take it apart and put it together again in different configurations. Agreed. Price tag is too high. But it's high *because* of what annoys you.
insomgineer I promise you’re going to be okay by my being annoyed. Also, I was talking about the initial labor it takes putting the couch together, not the configurations.
ExposedRoot I honestly don’t care. I understand the concept and purpose. I am just annoyed by the process and THATS OKAY. If you’re not annoyed, great.
I was in the furniture business for years and I can tell you that an average quality sectional costs about 3k and will last apx 5-7 years with normal family/pet/kids wear. I have looked at these sectionals and though they are not cheap, they are worth the cost considering the lifetime warranty. In the long run, it is cheaper.
@Anyta JP Exactly! About 3k & still looks decent 5-7yrs max. So the 'lifetime guarantee' on this lovesac.. what do they just keep replacing it? Bc i just dont see that foam holding its shape, pillow fill staying plush, mdf holding up, i could go on.. js *it IS an Awesome concept, i just don't think the price lines up with product, esp having to buy everything separately 😏
I believe the Lovesac warranty says that "hard" parts have a life time warranty. Cushions, fabric, etc. warranty varies with the product selected from 3 to 5 years. FWIW, My experience is that all loose cushion sofas at some point end up being sloppy and slouchy looking. I see the ability to rotate cushions to different locations to distribute the wear and the ability to replace covers at a some point a big plus for the Sactional.
I honestly agree with you on the price however I think you should have contacted a different store. My store rep told me about me deep back pillows and suggested I wait and see how feel and they would honor my original sale discount(free covers) if I wanted to get them later. They also told me about the fluffing with the Lovesoft. They also told me about the poly linen peeling. I did have the same problem with the seats not lining up however I called the sales rep and I set it up wrong and that’s why it messed up. I got a shoe map and it’s all perfect now. I did brake a base moving and they sent me a new one in a week. I’ve sent both my parents and 2 of my friend and only one of us had a bad experience and it was moms fault but the store still worked with her. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I hope your happier with your new couch.
I agree 100% this product is not for tall people lol I'm 6'3" wife is 5'9" no head rest unless I slouch or lay down. And yes the continuous fluffing was annoying! We didn't fluf for a week to see what it would look like... Looked like Play-Doh all in all it really wasn't worth the price it got sent back. Love your review i hope lots of people see it before they purchase this product.
I never really leave feedback on anything on You tube, but the fact that we have had a total opposite experience with ours I had to. We absolutely LOVE our Sactionals. I research the crap out of anything I buy so I was well schooled in the item. Costco was having a LOVESAC weekend and we looked at it live. We spent a lot of $$$, don't get me wrong it was a crazy amount, but we had to donate a couch that we spent 3500.00 that basically fell apart in a year. We bought the 8-10 package, with the deep cushions backs. Costco also threw in about "retail" 2000.00 worth of blankets, pillow, cup holders, city Sacs, and tables. We have 2 Great Danes and 1 Lab, we all love the couch. It is so well built and we change it around all the time. The fabric, we got the plush velvet, we have not had any issues at all. We have had 2 bad spills on it and took the covers off and washed them and came out brand new. We have had our Sactionals for 6 months and it gets abused everyday and still looks brand new. We change the couch around every few weeks when we want to try something new. We have had no one issue, out couch lays flat and is built like a brick-house. DO I wish it was cheaper, yes, but can see this couch lasting many years. Sorry for your bad experience.
Amasome you git it at Costco cause it was the cheapest value there. But my area hasn't had them at Costco but my mom told me she got hers at Costco. I love mine too.
Lol, not sure how long you’ve lived on your own, but $4k for a sofa is honestly not that much, and you definitely won’t get any of those features with another sofa. You could have solved basically all your problems by getting new fabric, and one wood shoe right?
Great review, very informative, lots of details on this review, thank you. I just bought a stock and before I bought anymore I wanted to find out more about the company. And now I’m wondering why in the hell did I bye that stock. Anyhoots, thanks again you’re a great reviewer and keep doing reviews for other things you rock.
Thanks for your honest review. I really appreciate it. I was about to buy one after I saw a commercial online, but I did not feel comfortable buying it. I saw your video and it has been super helpful. thanks a lot.
With 4 kids (ages 10-17), we chose the Sactional Sofa for many reasons. Being able to keep the same sofa and change the fabrics was one. Another was the construction. Another reason was due to the ease of changing the sofa around to suit our immediate needs…. Now as for shallow vs deep setup…. It’s all in how you articulate the base. The sofa bases can either be configured so you have a longer setup (not my preference), or a nice deep relaxing lounge experience. Knowing this prior to purchasing it was something that won me over. But mainly, my main purchase reason was because we went through 2-3 sofas that never stood up to the toddlers beating the crap out of them. Getting the sactional sofa from LoveSac was by far our greatest comfort investment for a piece of furniture because it’s the #1 piece of furniture that has lasted over all others. It’s still kicking and we plan on expanding it this summer by doubling the size (plus an extra base/side or two). Just as a sidenote, as per the building/quality of this type of furniture. Lovesac constructed the sectional sofa with real wood as opposed to a lot of other furniture that is literally slashed in half as far as pricing is concerned because the competitors or what some might consider to be competitors are really not because they use particleboard and pressed wood. Sectional sofa is constructed with real wood. The durability (and lifetime warranty in the construction) in this couch is unlike any other I have ever seen because I’m 180 lbs and I can stand all around the couch and it won’t sink or sag. If you’re looking for long term, the cost of 2-3 sofa sets is nothing compared to the singular price for a set to suit one’s family. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” I love your honest review! Thank you for sharing ☺️
Thank you for this comment. I kept thinking her reasons for returning the furniture were shallow and demanding. 1. There’s no such thing as a magic couch. 2. Obviously she didn’t order enough of the bases to level her sac appropriately. I’ve just started researching the product, but already I love it.
I'm sofa shopping cause what I bought from Ashley furniture didn't last and I don't have children. I paid $1,400. for it. Research on the love.sac is important cause I'm tired of buying sofas. Thank you for your comment. I'll visit the store before I buy. Hand's on approach.
@@anellawriteswouldn't that be the sale's people's fault? I'm sure they told her the pieces to get. Anyway, I don't think she's picky at all. I like my sofa to look neat. A big thing for me is not having to fluff cushions every time we use it. So, that's valid, and something she thought she researched. In addition, the fabric she got was recommended and on display, so why would it pill? I bought a Radley sofa from Macy's. My husband is 6' 3", and I'm 5' 4", and after going everywhere from Pottery Barn to Ethan Allen, it was the only sofa that was comfortable and fit both of us nicely. We got the gray chenille 4 years ago, and everyone thinks it's new. I never have to fluff it... Some say it's firm, but it's perfect for us. We paid $900. We just built a new house, and though I really thought about a different style sofa, we have been so impressed with everything about this sofa that we are ordering 2 more in a velvet fabric. The day I pay $4-10,000 for a sofa I have to put together will never come, lol.
@@dorisboyercummings4984try Macy's Radley... We've had it for over 4 years in gray chenille and we just ordered two more in a sand velvet for our new home we just built. It still looks brand new after almost 5 years, and they have sectionals as well. It is there best seller. It's under $1000 almost all the time, and I swear it's a lost leader. Someone was helping move my sofa to get something that had gone under it, and they couldn't believe how heavy it was. Every single cushion can be flipped for wear, although there is no wear at all. The cushions are former, so they hold their shape, but we find them very comfy when lounging. We sat on a lot sofas before we found this, and truly we loved it before we even know the price.
@@anellawrites Idid you get it? I just received mine. We have a very small living room so the deep seat were too overwhelming for us. Also I am not using the back cushions on mine I bought regular throw pillows and now I have a comfortable sofa . I also got the standard fill.
I have been trying to talk myself out of buying this product for a while, and your video addressed some concerns that I had. It actually convinced me to buy (I know, wierd.) Thank you for stating your height, and mentioning the deep side vs standard, for us short people it is good to hear why you gave it a negative mark. Only question: #4 stated as fabric, which fabric did you choose? The linen? I was looking at the corded velvet, wondering if you had any thought on that?
Glad I could help! That's why I made this video! 💙😁 I believe my fabric was Poly-Linen and I know the color was definitely called Seashell. So everything I had read and what the sales people told me, is that the best fabrics are the velvet ones - so I would definitely say that would be your safest bet. I just know velvet can be a magnet for pet hair. Good luck and I hope you love your Sac!! 💙
Same! The regular seating fits my 5’2” PERFECTLY I sat on one today and I’m highly considering the purchase. I can never find a couch that my legs will touch the floor while seating and this one was like a dream!
Hi! It's been 5 years :-) Are you still happy with your LoveSac? Honestly the things she mentioned really don't sound like a big deal, except the fabric issue - and we want leather anyway.
@@RadiologyCarols In case you are still shopping, I'm not the person you asked, but I can share our experience - We have had our Sactional for over three years, it gets daily hard use, and we LOVE it. Actually, the deep seating option is what sold me - I'm tall and most sofas just don't fit. We have the same type of fabric, but in a darker taupe and have not had any of the problems the reviewer had. I will say, after three years, I am looking at replacing the most heavily used back cushion insert, but like I said it has taken some hard use.
So me and my wife have wanted one of these couches for close to 10 years. We bought a lovesac bean bag about 15 years ago and it was a excellent purchase but it was just a pain to move and fluff all the time. Overall we were happy with it but we ended up giving it to my niece. About 4 years ago we looked into these sactionals pretty seriously and i just couldn't justify the price and we went with a cheaper couch. It was a huge mistake and ended up being junk and once again looked into the sactionals. We finally just pulled the trigger on black friday. 30% off plus 5% off for military discount and the set up we bought was still 6k. I honestly think any couch over 4k is just insane. It was a very hard pill to swallow. We have had it for a couple days now. I thought set up was easy just a little time consuming. It was nice having it delivered to our doorstep and honestly i liked how easy it was moving it into the house. Its much easier than moving a full size couch through doors and one person can move any piece of it around pretty easy which is huge in my opinion. These couches are expensive but they are very good quality. Its all high quality plywood construction and its an extremely solid couch. We got the standard fill and i honestly dont see it losing form anytime soon and we went with velvet covers and they also seem like high quality. We did the standard seating but the couch is in the shape of a U and we have a ottoman in the center. I think its plenty comfortable so far. Is it worth the price? We haven't had it long so its really hard to answer. I would say probably not but everything is overpriced now so what are you gonna do. What I do think is awesome though is being able to take it apart and clean it completely. You can also build it however you want obviously and add on if you want. With kids and pets you really cant beat it, also being able to replace anything if it gets ruined is huge. Its a high quality couch probably overpriced a little bit but you get what you pay for. Whatever you do decide on i recommend doing alot of research and dont go cheap. There is alot of cheap furniture out there. Its either go cheap and get a few years out of a couch or go with good quality and get something that will actually last. I have no doubt that the lovesac sactional will be at least a 10 year couch for us. Dont buy junk you will pay more in the long run like we did. I think she made the right choice returning it though if she wasn't happy with it though. You're paying alot of money and you should be happy with it. So far we are happy and if it doesn't fall apart like our other couch then i think we did alright.
Miss Annie I wanted to complement you for your excellent review. You gave us the good the bad . I was very impressed that you explained everything you did to try find that was wrong for what the cost is of everything. I wold like to ask I you would to tell me anything Om is
Although I found this review honest (from Miss Annie’s perspective, at least), it seems to me that a lot of people think the price of this furniture is outrageously astronomical and therefore hold it to a ridiculous standard. Do I think Sactionals are affordable and easy on the average person’s budget? NO. Do I think Sactionals could be a reasonable investment and that they could provide value to a family/home that exceeds the price tag? YES. Most of us have spent our lives buying economical/cheap furniture because: 1) It is what we could afford at the time, 2) We have children/pets and/or a messy partner, 3) We know we are going to want to rearrange and change the room and its decor. Because Sactional pieces can be moved and the covers changed completely, there is value in the versatility. Because the covers can be removed and cleaned, there is value from the protection of any ‘oops’ moments from the more feral members of the family. If Sactionals truly have a lifetime guarantee and a customer finds them comfortable and supportive, then I feel the cost is an investment that pays off in the long run. On a side note…I purchased a leather sectional ON SALE from Bassett Furniture for $3000 about 4 years ago. (Original price was over $12,000. 🤢) That sectional was perfect for me and my doggies at the time and it is well made. Now, I wish I could change the living room but there is literally no other option for the placement of the sectional, and the 1 dog I have left has mangled the leather arms with her nails due to dementia and her freak-outs. Now, obviously, my situation will not apply to everyone else’s circumstances. I just wanted to say that I sure wish I could at least fix the arms on my couch, even if I can never have the option to move it around for a new look.
Easy fix. Once you remove the fabric cover you’ll see the cover which holds down the foam… it’s as simple as cutting it out and replacing the damaged foam/fabric. If I can find the video showing how to do the repair, I’ll post it here for you!
Yes I think people (me included) are not use to paying that much for sofas & in turn assume they should be perfect...in her defense it was probably the highest price she had ever imagine couch could be 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you -- yes very helpful! I had gone back and forth with investing in a Lovesac sectional, but every time I filled up my cart online something would make me go back and look through the gallery, and, yes, some of those sectionals looked "slouchy" -- requiring the pillow fluffy thing you have mentioned. I, also, thought that would be just too much to have to do at the cost of my cart. I have suffered through with couches, in the past, that constantly looked slouchy and required constant fluffing. I am not furnishing a forever/retirement home. I just wanted something aesthetic pleasing to my eyes and worn well (washable covers, replaceable parts, easy to reconfigure). I went with something far less expensive, but in the back of my mind there was still that "what if I had gone with the Lovesac sectional.....?" Again, thank you. I am at rest.
@@s_1408 Neither of those temperature related issues would happen if you keep your home at room temperature. You can also dress your leather couches with blankets if you so choose. Quality leather will last much longer than fabric and will always stay in style.
Oh, old leather couches are beyond nasty though. They get scratches, they get cuts, they get oily, they look terrible with the eventual sagging. Leather should be reserved for tools or clothing imho
Luckily for me I bought the lazy boy sets I wanted and the lovesac. Comparing the two is a clear indication the difference is. If you have kids, family, pets ect, lovesac is for you it’s ment to last through the abuse year after year. But nothing beats the comfort of my lazyboy.
Worth the price point. I have had a sactional for over two years, I weigh over 300 pounds and I am really rough on my furniture. The price point is due to quality. It has held up like a dream. No wiggle. You pay for what you get. I have friends who bought elsewhere, big regrets. Love it!

This company is also huge into sustainability. So you are paying also for recycled and sustainable product to the max. Like as I have researched this company, this is a HUGE HUGE focus they have in their packaging, in their product etc. Great review! Such helpful information.
Jays MidWest Outdoors what the fuck is wrong with your dumb ass. She doesn’t have to be broke to be happy with a purchase. She could be more rich than you. Even if she isn’t, who cares, since she is clearly living a happier life than you since you feel the need to comment on other comments to bring them down
@Jiggy Jay Not so. I bought my Ashley Sectional from " Big Lots". In my City "Big Lots" sells named brand items. I've owned the sectional for over 7 years and I chose a color and style that's always fashionable. It still looks NEW. 😁🤗
I have been interested in this product for some time. I liked your review because it offered visual examples and details. You seemed to have covered a comprehensive list of issues. Thank you!
Make sure you don't just go off of her review and look at others. I have one and I love it and don't have any of the issues she has and a lot of the issues she had can be corrected with the right LoveSac Sactional hardware and fabric that she didn't maybe know they had. She was also supposed to put a shoe on every base and she didn't. That's why it's uneven. You either use shoes on all the bases or no shoes at all. I was told that at the store.
My buddy had the biggest love sac bean bag that is manufactured, and that was $1000. It constantly needed to be re-fluffed and literally weighed 100lb, but was comfortable for a few hours of lounging until it went flat underneath you. The material was not as pleasing to the touch as the price of such a thing would make you think, and the other two slightly smaller love sac bean bags where super uncomfortable and didn't conform to the body hardly at all, neither he nor any of our friends ever used those two. These things are NOT worth the money!! Grab something cozy and much cheaper.
Was considering purchasing one but you articulated EVERY single thing I was concerned about. Besides...I think they're very ugly. My wife had wanted one for years, but not any longer. The whole "assembly required" thing for the money you spend on the couch sealed the deal. NOPE.
Great review! This is such an amazing resource for those of us that are thinking about buying one. Not just your honest feedback but also the comments. Sometimes I really love RU-vid!
I recently purchased a Lovesac sactional and love it! I had first seen them almost 7 years ago in a mall in Delaware and I had to have one.. I purchased a house and said why not! We love it so far! Life time warranty on hard parts and 3 year on soft, how can you beat that? If you move and need a bigger couch you buy another seat and sides.. you're down sizing? Sell a seat and side or store them inside of eachother and in the basement! Painting the livingroom and it doesn't match? Buy new covers! I think this sofa adapts to any lifestyle flawlessly.. we cant fit it 3 length wise so we did it 3 deep with a chase lounge! Cut the length from 117inch to 98! (Our last couch was 96inch without any chase.. so we love it!) We also stuck with the square arms and not the rounded arms. Definitely didn't do your homework. Sorry you didnt like it
this is like a year later but anyway, my family has had a sactional for 5-6 years now, and it’s been so convenient for us. our home flooded a few years ago and the couch covers we had weren’t being sold anymore, so we just washed them. the pieces were easy to move upstairs and the ones we didn’t move, we replaced. we have movie nights every once in a while and we can reshape the couch which is nice. if we don’t want a big couch in the living room we can just move pieces upstairs and make a loveseat there. it’s really convenient for us and comfortable too
We've been considering one of these. 1. Thanks for the objective review. 2. People are still reading your review after 2 years! 3. You don't have to qualify/apologize for your experience. 4. Cool t-shirt.
I don’t know where else she shopped, but where does she find couches for less money? And those couches don’t change at all, or can you wash the covers?
never will i ever pay 9k for a couch. can get a damn car for that. they price it that high so it makes people think its worth it. then people pay it so they have to cope that they spent too much on a subpar sofa, hence the books they write to justify it online lol. just look at these comments. it takes at least a 2000-word essay for them to explain their reasoning
I went into a Lovesac store today and asked a million questions about this sectional. Your review is great to help mull things over. You mentioned the sloppiness of the cushions. When I went in today, they had a firmer cushion and their "down substitute" cushion (which is softer). Which did you get? I'm guessing that might make a significant difference in terms of needing to puff up and position the cushions frequently.
We have a Big One in our living room and I have a Pillow Sac in my room, I’ve never seen their sactional in real life but it seems like in my opinion, being able to rearrange it makes it worth the price and all of the other problems with it
I absolutely love my LoveSac Sactional I to use them in only the deep configurations because that is much more comfortable! I don't know what you're talkin about by losing half your configurations every configuration can be done in deep as well you might need one deep side in order to get them in those configurations though which they sell at the same price as the regular size side !!! as far as needing a separate cover for the back pillows for use in the deep configuration that's not true at all. If you fluff your pillows right they all fit just nicely in the deep configuration! In terms of fabric and covers I went with fur and leather which I think is the smarter option because you don't have any of the pilling or sticking issues
Thank for your honest opinion. So many videos out there are set up to just show how to assemble and that’s all. I’m a firm believer that nothing is perfect and there’s pros and cons to everything. However, when the pros outweigh the cons that you agree with it’s well worth a buy if the cons Outweigh the pros then obviously you need to really think about why are going to buy or not buy something. Your review is one of the only ones on the Internet that I could find that has a real outlook on things. People who work hard want to spend their money on some thing that will really be great don’t have extra money to throw away so you’re providing a great service to our community. Thank you.
Yay I'm glad I could help! You think EXACTLY how I do when making a big purchase! A lot of people here are calling me out saying I was too poor and shouldn't have bought the couch, which was not the case - I just expect amazing quality with an astronomically high price tag! 😆
I hate it..worst couch I ever bought. Can move it without a man. Use a sludge hammer to put it together with those things. $8000.00 WASTED MONEY. Most uncomfortable couch 😡
Sounds like you didn’t do your research if you didn’t realize deep seating was the way to go. Lovesoft is not high maintenance since that material is only in the cushions not anywhere else.
But think about it like this, if any peice breaks, gets a hole, or rips, you can just replace that peice, you can wash the covers if they get stains or if they get permanent stains, you can just buy a new cover for that peice, and you can get different colors and rearrange it so you’ll never get board with the shape, style, or color. Sacrional couches can last forever, you can have it for 100 years and pass it down to your family and in 300 years 80% of the original pieces will still be used. If you buy a regular couch and you spill wine on it or part of it rips, you’ll be screwed and you’ll have to buy a new one, if you get board with the color, style, or shape, then your stuck with it forever
I’m confused about this video... all of these things are your choices you made? The deep vs standard seating was your choice, you didn’t do research on if you’re doing all deep seating you need to get other parts. You set up the area of the couch wrong where you needed to put a shim... you can set it up so all the feet go into the shoes. You proceed to say deep seating eliminates over half of your configurations, that’s YOUR choice you’re eliminating them... You chose to mix both lovesoft and standard foam, this in itself would obviously cause an unaesthetic look.. You chose that fabric as they have 100s of options.... this is kind of an unfair video to LoveSac... don’t you think?
JacobsEverything1 I do agree with part of what you’re saying - I’m aware that some of the issues are due to my own choices and somewhat initial lack of product knowledge. I state this in the video. But I don’t think that changes my overall issue being that the price isn’t worth it - a product that has this kind of price tag should have an amazing user experience. This was my personal user experience and it wasn’t amazing. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ And FYI there was no real solution for my leg issue without the 2 sections being all gappy - I originally tried to troubleshoot this with my salesperson.
Also, our sales person was fully aware of the configurations we were trying to go for after we played with those little blocks for like an hour - they should have caught that we would need the extra pieces. However, Like I said in the video, this wasn’t a deal breaker - just another thing to add to the list.
JacobsEverything1 I’m glad you love it! And I understand why it works for lots of people. I definitely know I’m part of the minority with my opinion. We’re still sitting on 2 crappy Ikea chairs because couch shopping is ridiculously stressful. 😭
A lifetime warranty usto be good for anything you bought but thanks to lawyers now a company can say that the lifetime of a product is 7 years and then the lifetime warranty is over after said 7 years so long as they notify you in terms and conditions that you agree apon while proof reading something with 3000 pages
I really like the concept but I just verified the prices and I just cant swim in that pond. If I hadn't seen so many bad reviews like this I maybe it would be something to consider but hellz no.
Ok so the shoes…the legs sit in the shoe but ON the floor. So that should not be happening. Also, you don’t have to use the shoe. You can use only the clip if you are having trouble with the shoe.
Just looked at this store yesterday. Very informative video. Love the way you said everything. If wasn't negative, you were just stating your experience. This helps me so much since now I have an idea of what to look out for and any problems that may arise for me. Awesome job!
Lovesac absolutely sucks in every way. The Sactional cushions are garbage. The Sac itself is an overpriced piece of junk--and GOOD LUCK getting it packed up to return it.
*Blind Guardian shirt = blind faith in the legitimacy of this review.* ✅ ps. thank you for the detailed insight into ownership; despite said review really hitting me hard, deep down in that "Santa Claus isn't real" place..😫😖💀 I suppose all love is irrational though - and that includes futuristic household furniture all the same... 😞😔
Girl! Some how I got swept up in the sells pitch and purchased from Lovesac. 8k for my sectional and bean bag. after a day I regreted it. Trying to figure out how to canceled order before it’s actually shipped. 😩
Thanks for the honest review, and your pinned comment to put it into perspective. We are on the hunt for a sofa, and you're right, it's not fun! Can I ask what you ended up getting?
I have seem websites entirely dedicated to HATING the Lovesac. Plus many regular sites with tons of pissed reviews about the seats, backs, covers, accessories and especially customer service. It's worse if you can't pick up and return at a local brick and mortar store. All these things even before considering the astronomical entry price.
@Miss Annie, for your Reason #2, do you think the different levels are caused by your plushy carpet? It seems like a big flat shoe won't sink as deeply into the shag as a single 1.5 inch round foot would.
I find it would be a tough sell for that kind of sofa to be worth $4000 to me. It looks like dorm or first apartment furniture. One thing I didn't get a sense of is how is it possibly $4000 worth of comfort, even if the quality and configuration is worth it for some? Part of why I didn't hear this is I found myself skipping ahead through this video. The reviewer makes some good points and is thorough, but tends to throw in a lot of unneeded information and take a long time getting to salient points. I'd find this review much more useful if it were structured more hierarchically, with critical points close to the front, and elaboration, or tales on going to the store and interacting with salespeople, later. It took 5m to even get to the heart of the issue. This is mostly meant to be constructive criticism (I find most people making youtube videos could use to follow those tips; it's hardly only this one) Other than that, it's a good review, and it's good to get a sense of the quality of this item.
OMG Such a fabulous review. Thank you so much! Maybe you know of another company that produces environmentally conscious, lightweight, modular sofas, like LoveSac. What did you settle on, after LoveSac?
Thank you! Glad I could help! Unfortunately I know of no other companies that really fit the niche that Lovesac does. :( I did a lot of research about buying a sofa that is environmentally conscious and honestly, the prices were just astronomical and outside of what I wanted to spend. I ended up with a customized Chesterfield sofa from Pottery Barn that is more aesthetically pleasing than comfortable, but it's starting to break in now. ❤️
Thank you for posting. I appreciate your honest review. Looks very labor intensive. A family with kids needs less work. Having to work at replacing the cover does it for me, no thanks esp. at their prices.
In case you are still shopping - the covers are very tight the first time. Then they loosen up enough to remove and wash, but are never as hard to put back on. I've had mine for over three years of hard use and love it
Miss Annie: thanks so much for your honest review. You were spot on with every question/issue that my husband & I had. I'm now subscribed to your channel (something good, thanks to LOVESAC...LoL) 😁

Thank you soo much! You have just saved me a lot of headaches because I was just in the lovesac store today and I picked out the 5 and 5 lovesac with the lovesac foam with the same exact covers that you picked and I was gonna go tomorrow and purchase it but i am definitely not now after watching your review! You are the best and you saved me a lot of heartache!
I'm glad my info could be helpful! But I do just want to note - even though I wouldn't recommend that particular cover (especially if you have kids or pets), the sactional could still very well be a good fit for you if you know you want to utilize a modular type of sofa and have the budget for it- it just wasn't a good fit for my particular lifestyle. Everyone I talked to before making my purchase (I didn't listen obviously) recommended the velvet style covers. 💙
I coveted this product for months and finally ordered my 4/5 set when they had their Black Friday deal. I experienced all the negative things you address in this video and after hours of wrestling it together and then changing the configuration a couple times to try and make it work I’ve decided I really don’t like it after all. It’s much bulkier and clunky-looking than it seemed in the store, and it’s all right angles which makes it not very comfortable. I got combed chenille which is quite nice but I agree that the cushions just look sloppy all the time (lovesoft). I’m dreading taking it all apart to send back but I really can’t justify $4000+ for a so-so sofa. Ugh…
Oh man, I’m so sorry! But I’m glad I’m not the only one with this experience. 😂 Putting them together and taking them apart is soooo much work. The covers are so hard to get on and off I never would have wanted to wash them if they needed it anyways lol. Good luck on the take apart and packing!! I hope you find the sofa of your dreams. 💖
I know it might be late but make sure you don't just go off of one person's review and look at other video reviews. I love my Sactional and haven't almost all the issues she has had with mine. Anyways many of her issues she stated can be corrected by getting the right LoveSac Sactional hardware that she maybe did not know they had. Also getting the correct fabric that's easy to clean is a must if you worry about that. I got the chocolate velvet which was the cheapest in price and most durable and easy for cleaning. Also on their site for fabrics some are NOT machine washable but they do have a checkmark bux to only show machine washable fabrics.
Attraction Spot I actually went with the Sactional. I couldn’t find anything else that would properly fit in this “unique” living room. I love It! Laying on it now =)
@@AttractionSpot Very true. Seems she didn't do enough research into every aspect of the Sactional. I couldn't even finish the video, too much complaining.
pilling fabric?? extra costs?...your sofa in smaller than mine hon and i bought a hi end leather sectional for 2500 canadian...oh and the company delivered and put the feet on...
