I've been listening to a lot of Adele lately and this has always been one of my favorite songs (covers) by her. I felt like just doing a one-take cover today because I am way too lazy to record other instruments haha :) (thank you karaoke, you're wonderful) aha anyway, I hope you enjoy!

I'm 65 and have listened, literally, to every singer, ever, I believe, and this young lady is one of the better. Nice tone and I like that her voice is CLEAR, no crackles. I'm not a fan of this song or Adele, but this young lady handled it nicely. 13???? Amazing.

I came to youtube looking for a female cover of The Cure's "Lovesong". Found Adele's first. It seemed right, but too much. Too forced, too ornate, to glitzy, to glam, too showbiz. Midway through her song I decided it was wrong, and continued looking. Found this one. This one is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for.

Whenever I feel down and unloved I come to this song and watch the intro. The way that Canen looks at the camera from behind the mic has to be the most expressive romantic look anyone has given. And I melt. It speaks volumes and I’m sure someone somewhere will notice her and give her her rightful place she deserves among the greats of art.

What an amazing gift you have. Yours is a rare voice for your physical age, although most listeners would probably agree you have an old soul. You choices of songs are incredible, as are your versions of the songs. Keep doing what you’ve been doing and you will not have to worry about not having fans. There will be plenty.

Canen, Just read your latest video from 2022 and I'm not sure why this chapter is "behind you" ...BUT I have to tell you this version of Adeles song is on par with hers and when one considers the excellent musical accompaniment, one could argue that yours is THE best. A recent convert to the artistry of Canen/Jo, I have listened to her posted performances and purchased her music for my primarily jazz oriented collection. While most of what I have heard has been wonderful, this particular cover moves me every time I listen to it. My wish is that she continues to release originals and covers throughout her college and then professional song writing and performance career.

Just goes to show kids are developing beyond their years both psychologically and physically. This generation needs protecting more than ever these days ... As an older dude who grew up with the Cure and the memories of melancholy nights with my friends in candlelight just chilling out, I appreciate the fact that a younger generation of people can turn this musical genre into something else on their own and make it sound so damn good! At the time quite a lot of people saw some of this music depressing and dark. That was my teen years and when you are going through that age of uncertainty and angst, it was comforting and a bit of rebelliousness mixed in. Excellent Cover!
