Wow. Normally, when watching Morgan James no one else exists. The only thing greater than her beauty is her voice. But the moment Ryan Shaw sang his first note was incredible. Together, they make an absolutely sublime duo.

Unbelievable! I mean Morgan I knew it was just absolutely phenomenally blowing me away every time I listen to her and then this other cat! Wow! They sound so good together. This was so cool. I hope they do more together and I hope I can find.

So I stumbled across Postmodern Jukebox and then Morgan James....and DAMN! I am blown away. She has IT. I'm an old guy who's heard the old classics and some of the new stuff and this lady is the real deal. I know art and music is subjective. It's what moves you. What touches you and stays with you. Everyone has their own compass that gets them there but this woman is beyond what I usually hear in music today. Amazingly gifted.

Same thing just happened to me about a month ago (thanks to algorithms). This is one beautiful lady outside and in! I have to say that something about her quality singing can get me emotional! And yes, people have their own opinions, but she’s my next Linda Ronstadt that I listened to all through the 70’s and on. I’ve see a couple of her interviews and she is just such a wholesome person and just appreciate her musical beauty and soul!

yes I agree. like wooden chestnut richness. they work together so nicely and as hard as they're both pushing it doesn't sound cheesy. I wonder what it would sound like if they didn't pump up the intensity so much and went with a more mellow (almost Steely Dan) mosey throughout the piece

Great ! PLEASE include this duet on your next Album. Also, there were times when Ryan's voice was very reminiscent of Sam Cooke's. You can't go wrong with that.

He was the star of this song I thought. He's runs were a little off-key sometimes, but if he sang it straight...my gosh that man can SING!!! And yeah...I heard Sam Cooke too...had to snap my neck around.

Steve Perry borrowed quite a bit from Sam Cooke, in a good way, in terms of vocal stylings, inflections, etc. You can hear the Cooke influence in much of Perry's recordings.

This is one of my FAVORITE JOURNEY SONGS. And I know them all and saw them live 4 times four album tours... YOU GUYS KILLED IT!! I love me some Morgan James, she can sing a restaurant menu and I'll love it. But Ryan Shaw!! Flipping Journey blue Sam Cooke style! I wasn't ready for that. Aw MAN. This is awesome
