This is a masterpiece drama series. There are lots of messages all about love, sacrifice, trust, don't trust, resolve misunderstandings and forgiveness. In this drama series, we can really see Jerry Yan's amazing powerful acting quality. The description of Lee Zhong Mou as a smart, cold hearted , ambitious and handsome businessman, as a funny boss, as a child who had a traumatic childhood, as a good father, as an older brother who competes with his younger half brother, as a husband who is sometimes filled with jealousy. LZM can handle love, family and business problems very wel, all of this can be conveyed through Jerry Yan's acting quality. Wu Tong looks elegant, motherly, fragile but still brave as a single mother at the same time, the audience felt her pain when she had to separate from TongTong (her son). LZM chemistry with Wu Tong looks natural and very beautiful. I can feel the vibrations of love just by seeing Lee Zhong Mou and Wutong looking at each other, so amazing acting quality, they make it feel real. Tong tong is a super kid, he's very smart... Good job. Great acting.

The assistant is just following the order of his boss , but for me it’s WuTong who’s got more right she’s the righteous parent cuz she’s the mom and she was the only one who raised her son Tongtong ❤️👍
Throughout the story, LeeZM never asked Wu Tong what sacrifices she had to undergo while getting pregnant without a husband; and what challenges she had to overcome to raise TongTong as a single parent. LeeZM thanked Wu Tong for giving positive image about him, an absentee father but in depth questions and concern would have expressed his deep love for Wu Tong if only he and Madame Lee understood the heart of a mother being compared to the heart of a Divine Creator.
He knows his assistant gave him a detailed report; besides, he knows that her parents weren't talking to her because of her choice to keep the baby! Well the guy is smart, I'm sure he figured that out, but he was so cold due to his own childhood and lack of motherly love that he didn't care at first, later he changed his idea about Wu T and fell for her loving and warm character
Y'all acting like she's some saint or aggrieved victim in this story. She's not. She's a prime example of an irresponsible young girl who developed a crush on a handsome rich man, wormed her way into his company and stalked him until the perfect opportunity presented itself: all unbeknownst to him. She followed a drunken him from the bar to his hotel room & into his bed. He DIDN'T KNOW HER; NEVER had an inappropriate relationship with her; and, NEVER seduced her. Damn...until that fateful day that the child was injured, he DIDN'T even know this bitch existed or that she was ever pregnant with his child. She selfishly got into his bed while he was in a drunken stupor, conceived a child with him and kept this fact from him. And, had the child not be in need of his blood that day would have forever SELFISHLY deprived FATHER & CHILD the benefit of knowing each other. SHE's NOT THE VICTIM HERE. The FATHER & CHILD are victims of her selfish decisions!!!
Before she got married, Wu Tong was a sensible woman. However, when she got married to LeeZM and got hooked with Xian Jun, the character of Wu Tong acted on decisions contrary to human nature. One episode was her misplaced priorities of running to be at the side of Xiam Jun who got drunk. Wu Tong in this episode was attending the important event of changing the surname of her son, but the family did not matter to her. When LeeZM asked if she had to leave, Wu Tong without hesitation left him and went straight to the club where the drunkard Xiam enjoyed the company of his girlfriend" who brought him back to his unit. Inside the house of Xiam Jun, the latter attempted to molest Wu Tong. Unfortunately, the attempted molestation never deterred Wu Tong to stay closer to Xiam Jun. I just wonder if Xiam Jun made Wu Tong feel that she is extra special and she felt deeply the love of this man compared to the love and affection of her husband.

I like this drama very much. I watched this drama fully again and again. All the characters and the artists are acted perfectly. Please all together once. This is my first Chinese drama that I have watched. But it's very much impressed by me rather than the forbidden flower series
He never knew he had a son. The kid was kept away by her mother. As a mother I will do everything in my power for my kids but they also have the right to know who their father was. This is just a tv drama why you getting mad about it?
We all have to watch the complete drama before any coments. We soon will find out the answers to so many questions. Wu Tong had her reasons to hide her son. Later on , Zhongmou will also find out why she never told the father about this son and I am sure he will be surprised and will understand and maybe a shame of himself. It's such a beautiful story, so real with lessons to all of us. Excelent cast and the production worked very hard to make all the drama in a very high standard. Congratulations Lee Zhongmou, Wu Tong, Tongtong and all the cast, production, writer, and everyone envolved on this drama.
He can visitation but he shouldn’t have the right to just snatch full custody like she never existed. Also they were never married she didn’t have to tell him anything. Instead of getting to know the child her and the child he immediately threatened and bullied her for full custody.

Usually this is always the outcome to show to court that she cannot support her own child. But something is wrong here the judge should look for the five years from the beginning of pregnancy till her son is five years old that the boy was not deprive but have a loving mother well behave with a modest living growing up. If his biological father is good he should allowed the mother for fifty fifty visitation rights or support the mother and child as he is filthy rich.
I am so pissed that rich people can do whatever they want and get away with it. It is not wrong to be rich, but it is so wrong to do whatever they like and so entitled as if other people are all existing just to serve them. Others have to give up anything, anytime they want it. How come the court only considers about the child's financial necessity and completely ignoring their psychological needs. Which law could take a child from the mom away just because she has less money than the father. She is not a drunkard nor a mental case, she is not rich but she is a responsible mother. There is no reason to take away her custody right completely like that. At the most, the court should only give the father 50% custody or visiting right, she was the person raising the kid since birth all alone and he was going on well afterall. Why can't he just help her get a job that is near by both party so that they can raise the child together even if they don't get married? He is a rich CEO and she was once his intern, so she is obviously qualified to work in his company. Why doesn't he care about his son's feeling? Instead of giving child his full costody, the judge should order him to pay child support. Either there is something wrong with the Justice system in this country or the script writer made a wrong 'judgement' to the mother. If it turns out that the man gets the child, the mother at least have the visiting right.
you have to understand the old Chinese/traditional culture. With a divorce a man usually gets the custody so that the son can carry on the family name. This is true for both rich or poor family. For the mother, it is thought that it would be easier for her to meet and marry another man without the burden of a child. Most Chinese men probably do not want to marry a woman with kids or to support them.
