Hey guys! So I didn't do a disclaimer but I do want to say I am not shaming those who have fair skin. I've always had super fair skin and it's nearly impossible for me to get a natural tan without burning first. I would rather just use fake tanner to give me a little glow than try to scorch my skin as that isn't healthy. Also this was my first time EVER putting on fake tan and I am aware I didn't do a great job, but hey it was my honest and real first impression. so the reason it looked so blotchy is because all self tanners have an instant bronzer in them that has nothing to do with the color that will be present on your skin. they put the bronzer in to show you where you've applied the product. self tanners have a colorless ingredient called DHA. this is the ingredient that develops and tints the skin. this is why it isn't blotchy. its because you applied the DHA all over in a nice application. hope that helps!

Xiangwei Lin that means you didn't exfoliate properly so you need something like a moroccan bath or a turkish bath to help with deep exfoliation

I know this will sound weird, but thank you for applying it blotchy and kinda failing! I ordered the exact same product and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I was super nervous to use it because I am a self-tanning virgin, but now that I know that it really doesn't have to be perfect to look amazing, I'm a lot more excited to try it out! :)

PLEASE HELL ME!! Okay, everyone!! This will be my very very first time ever using a self-tanning product and Jaclyn Hill said to shave so the tan doesn't stick to the hairs. Would that mean shaving your arms and stomach and everything else as well?? I REALLY need to know all of your thoughts, opinions, and tips, I am going to be using this before my Senior Prom and I really don't want to look like a freak! Thank you!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 it didn't make my face break out but after using it a few more times I did notice blackheads. Whenever I use it now I just don't apply it to my face since I wear foundation anyways 😄

omg so glad I saw this I watched her video and she makes it look so easy! if didn't see yours before purchasing I would have made the same glove mistake. I don't know if it's a blonde thing but I Always jump into projects and half way realize I don't have all the necessary tools... or start cooking and not have all the ingredients, thanks for the video so Fun to watch♡

You need to apply it with the tanning mitt. I’ve used the loving tan mousse and it is the best out there.

how long does the bottle last? I want to try it but I usually use Bare Minerals Faux Tan Body, and its 2 oz. more but less expensive.

I can't tell you exactly because I don't use it too often but I have gone through a bottle and I think I got 4 tans out of it, which was worth it to me since I don't tan often :)

love this video as someone who's only had a spray tan once for a dance concert you've given me confidence in trying this ... does anyone have any tips for what shade I should get and how long to leave it I only want to go maybe 3 shades darker but I'm naturally as White as paper not even exsagurating. My friends call me casper. ???

Do you still use the medium shade? It looks like a light tan, not orangey tho. I want to try the 2hr express in dark. I have ultra dark regular but i think for winter it may be too dark haha. what are your thoughts on that? have you tried the 2hr express in dark?

I still use the tan, just on special occasions though. I just used it a few days ago and the medium tan looked great since it's winter. As you could tell I'm naturally very pale so the medium tan made a pretty big difference on me (although the camera didn't pick it up as much). I think you should try it! And if it isn't quite dark enough with the 2 hours, leave it on for a little bit longer. I left mine on for less time actually this last time ( 1hour 20 min) to look only slightly tan and it still looks great! I think it would be a good buy for you :)

I'm pale as a ghost and just applied the loving tan in medium and I look like a carrot and i'm freaking out!! Lol. We look similar with it on, so hopefully I look better when I wake up tomorrow.

i got the medium shade too and i did it last night and i didn't use enough so the only place i had color was my face and hands because i used a makeup brush and i used the glove on the rest of my body. I'm doing round 2 right now lol

Thankyou very much! I absolutely love it! It's great and it's very realistic looking. Just make sure to exfoliate REALLY well so it's not patchy. The exfoliating glove works great! I have used it probably 8 times since this video and even repurchased it. I think you should try it! And get the Saint Tropez application mitt to apply it

I just bought this and I tried it on my leg and then looked streaky af so I washed it off straight away. But after seeing this and the outcome with that tiny brush, I'm gonna attempt it again cause this turned out pretty good 😂😂😂👌🏽

The brush works well on getting a smooth application and the face, neck, chest, wrists/hands, and ankles/feet but it's not ideal to use it all over the body. I would definitely pick up the St. Tropez mitt (at Sephora) it's only about $5 and works great!

+Areli Berlanga It didnt break out but after using it a few times i saw that it was clogging my pores and giving me black heads. Since the tan on my face faded after just 2 days due to daily exfoliation i just choose to not tan my face :)
