That is because using the camera in regular mode the IR cut filter is on and it only switches off when it is in night vision mode. I want it to be off when in regular mode to use the full spectrum effect. The only way to do that is to remove the IR cut filter.
@@SciTyeTech Makes sense as sony night shot did something similar after the 'see through people's clothing' scandal using night shot in daylight. Tho in my world I would at least make it where i can control that IR cut filter. its the same as in security cams, + voltage to slide it one way, - for the other. Edit, you can also just set it to clear and unplug it.
Not necessarily because I tried with a different camera and the ir cut filter is a part of the main lens. You would have to replace it with a basic lens which is hard or impossible to find the right one or one that is compatible with the camera.
