Your calmness is reflected in the way you explain and simplify the things that may seem difficult for every beginner in this field. This is clear until you are a classy lady in your handling of all the comments. Thank you for being on this platform and thank you for all your valuable videos, may God always protect you.
Thank you so much. I have just started and I am so overwhelmed by all the different websites, programs, and RU-vids. I am just going to stick with your channel from now on.
I just discovered your YT channel about a week ago…you are fantastic. Because of you, I have FINALLY learned how to use Canva. In fact, I just completed a KDP journal using your teachings. Thanks, and please keep making these videos.
Thanks so much Nuria for all of your tutorials! They're all very helpful and I feel your sincerity in wanting us to also succeed in the KDP business. It would be great to also have a tutorial on your process in finding the best keywords for this planner using free tools and how you determine from these keywords which ones will be used for the title, subtitle and the seven backend keywords. I'm really learning a lot from you and thanks to your challenge in another video I just published my first no content book.
Great video as usual.By the way,you don't need to resize it.You can go as usual - create design, custom dimensions and then after that in search bar you can type planner and that's it.All templates are there
Thank you for sharing this wonderful data and teaching. I have the pro version of Canva, but had no idea it did all this. Now, I will start exploring the program more. You've been a big help.
Thank you for graciously sharing this with us. I just finished creating 2 planners in MS word. What a pain. I've used Canva for different projects in the past, but never thought to use it for the INSIDE of a book. Thanks for these great ideas.
Very helpful content in these videos. I haven't uploaded my journal yet. Do you have a cover design that shows how not to bleed the square picture on the front cover. Are all covers required to bleed? Thanks ahead. This is totally unrelated, but...nice thumbnail.
Great video, as always. So, today I have made my first planner. I'm working to the cover right now. I hope I will upload it today. Thank you. You are wonderful.
Thank you so much,I really enjoyed your explanation,I will better use canvas as you have said, thank you for your advice.Any new beginner can use the canvas,I appreciate I am from Nigeria. thanks
This was perfect! After seeing quite a few vids, so happy to find this. You explained clearly and gave me a practical option, esp since I am familiar with Canva already. Feel more ready to create mine. 😀 Excellent advice re: licensing & copyright re: images. Subscribed!
@@TheHomeBoss Just wanted to let you know you're having an impact worldwide. So many of us (who don't live in the US) seek passive income streams (which aren't get-rich-quick schemes) we can sustain. Warm🌞 greetings to you from 🇧🇧Barbados in the Caribbean.
@@seawomancreativemedia8117 That means a lot to me! If I can help just one person achieve a more secure life, then I'm so happy. Warm greetings to you too, from London in the UK!
Great video indeed, easy peasy and very useful. First time see you live LOL. Is it ok to make a 488 pages daily planner, sep2020 to dec2021; what do you think about it? I like this kind of videos, keep it up please
Thank you so much, glad you found it useful. Regarding the planner, personally I think 488 pages will be a very thick planner and I have never tried that before. Might be worth trying? I would probably try and reduce the number of pages to make the book easier to handle. It may be difficult to write in it if it doesn't sit flat when open. But I really don't have experience in a planner that size, so maybe worth trying!
You are so beautiful, you voice is like silk to my ears. you might be elder to me age wise but i want appreciate the fact that you are really sweet and beautiful. From the way you speak i know for sure that you are really a down to earth person i have watched most of your videos. I really love all your videos. lots of love from India. Thanks to all the knowledge that you shared i have published two books. which took 10 days to figure out, I am a baby in kdp. i have been sick for 10 years mostly on the bed all the time now at last healed now {which the main stream medicine calls it incurable.
Thank you for this. Really helpful honestly but I don't see the point of buying a canva subscription and not being able to use any of the good stuff (for fear of?)
Thank you for the video, what the best tool for creating kdp interior : canva or affinity publisher or indesign ? Thank you in advance for your explanation
I started creating my books with Powerpoint but for the last 10 months or so, every book I have created I made on Canva. It's the easiest in my opinion.
Thank you for sharing! If I want to sell on KDP do they all have to be grayscale? Do you only create them in grayscale? How do you create the cover and back page and put it all together?
Grayscale means you print with black ink which is much cheaper than colour. But I do use full colour for my children's books. The best thing to do is to watch my video series on how to upload your first notebook to kdp, it gives you step by step instructions and you can follow it and upload your first book! Hope this helps: thehomeboss.com/how-to-publish-your-first-low-content-book-on-amazon-kdp-for-beginners/
If you click the three dots in the upper right corner of any image in Canva, then the little "information i", it will tell you what the license is for that image.
It's up to you if you want to make a book with bleed or without. For my children's books for example I selected bleed because the images go right to the edge of the book. It depends on your design so you just need to add the bleed to the size.
