In this episode, we celebrate all things Christmas Tree! We show you how to make 4 styles of Christmas trees and a special raised letter sign with help from XTOOL! These projects, as usual, are made of scrap wood and pallet material.
The first project is the Christmas tree trio, the sizes are as follows: 6x4.25, 8x5, and 9x5.75. These are made of the runners off pallets.
The second project is the raised lettered Christmas Tree Farm Sign. We used the XTOOL S1 laser engraver to create the letters and graphics. Please visit XTOOL to learn more about this product. Huge thanks to them for providing the machine.

The third project was the Herringbone tree. This was made of .50” x 1.5” material. The cutlist for pieces numbered 1-18 is as follows: 3, 4.75, 6, 7, 5.25, 6.5, 5, 5.75, 4.5, 5.5, 3.75, 5.25, 3.25, 4.5, 2, 4, 2.25, and 3.5. Measurements are in inches.
The fourth project is was the small pallet tree set. These are made of pallet planks all 3.5 inches wide. The parts measure as follows: Small tree 10.75, 7.5, 4.5. The medium is the small plus one 13.75. The large is the medium plus one 16.25.
The fifth project was the large set of trees. These were also made of pallet planks. The measurements are as follows. The small tree 4.25, 8.5, 12.25, 16, 19.5. the trunk is 20”. The medium tree is the small plus one 23.25 with a 24 inch trunk. The large is the medium plus one 27 inch. With a 28 inch trunk. The foot from small to large are 10”, 12”, and 14”
We hope these measurements help you create something great!

As a new viewer, I can appreciate you showing all the steps at least once. As a newbie, I can learn a lot by seeing how others do things. But that's just me. Glad to have found your channel.

My 2¢ here. I like to see tougher cutting and tougher sanding explained and yes the colors (staining, paint, decoupage or however you put the "coloring" on it) and of course any oiling you may do. With use of a router a good look at the bits that you use is something I think is important for someone newer. Jigsaw use I also like to see. The laser machine is cool, but only if we have one. Thanks for teaching. ❤

Just found your videos. Nice projects. One suggestion is to take the cutout from your x-tool, paint the background, and apply the stained front to it.

Great projects either for home or to sell. I just do this for my home, not looking to sell woodworking. Also, love your Wardruna t-shirt. One of my favorite bands as well. Been a heathen since early 90's.

Howdy🤠 Nice to see hometown successful peps on RU-vid… Well now I am motivated to get busy and enjoy some woodcraft for my mom. So those are some nice pallets and sure could use them. Bethany police asked me “what are you doing? Lol “I’m going to make a few things” He said if I didn’t want to go to jail to put them back! Yes Sir🫏!!! So that ended all my projects I had planned 2years ago. May I ask where can I get such safe pickin pallets?
@averystreetdesignstudio

If you will email us. I will send you their location. I don't want to put their address on youtube. Glad to share them. There's always a ton.

Thank you for your videos! I enjoy all the ideas and watching them come together. Plus I like the staining, to watch the wood grain pop. What grit sandpaper do you use when distressing the wood? Thank you! Looking forward to your next videos.

Loved the projects! A couple questions- do all your pallets come from a place that always has a regular stash or do you have to do a bit of hunting for some- have you ever used fabric instead of paper for the mod podge trees & are most of your sales made local or through shipping- also I love seeing all the steps in your videos 😊👍
@averystreetdesignstudio
@averystreetdesignstudio 2 дня назад
Thanks so much for watching. We are very fortunate to have a never ending pallet stream available to us. If I see some in other places, I pick them up but there's not much hunting involved anymore. I don't believe we have used fabric with mod podge. All of our sales are online, we sell through several large websites. The projects we make on youtube are not what we usually sell for our business. We are researching new products to help our viewers build their businesses. The pallets are a way for new woodworkers to get started for as little money as possible.
