Reenie, thanks for the Canva tips! I watched a recent video of yours that you had made your own stickers using Canva so I went in and made my own stickers for my June monthly..but Holy cow you don’t want to know how I made my stickers…and I used the free version so I didn’t get the best choices but still made it work. My next project in Canva is to make my own header stickers because this girl is lacking in that. So this tutorial will help me greatly. And just getting in and messing around instead of just going in to make my thumbnails will be fun as well. Take care friend.
Kim, my pleasure. I'm not a "guru" by far but I'm learning. lol. Canva is such a great resource but, yes, the paid version has more options. I sort of view it as it's less than the price of one sticker book every month. lol ( I can justify anything.. 🤣🤣🤣) Header stickers! Yes.. something I need as well. @@TheEnchantedPlanner so the florals came from live love posh. I made the lemons and oranges. I can’t remember how I ended up with an 8.5 x11 but I did. Then I totally guessed on the size (which I would have liked to have been bigger) but I didn’t realize there was a ruler!!!! That info would have helped. 😜 And my printer is running out of ink. I had another design plus more of the other that didn’t print good - so I scrapped them. I had to tell myself ..it’s just one sheet of sticker paper. Although I do splurge on sticker books, I can be a tightwad. Lol. My goal is to get a cricut. The sky would totally be the limit.. boxes any color you would need, quotes you don’t have, and any themed sticker. Plus you wouldn’t have to fussy cut!! That would be a game changer when it comes to creating. And not just in your planner. 😀Can you tell I’m just a little excited about this?? 😂 I’m patiently waiting for your other you tube channel. I’m really interested in the whole menopause thing and weight loss. I had weight loss surgery 4 years ago. But have gained 13 pounds back around the abdomen/stomach/waist.. I got to researching and have read that women who gain weight in those areas may have a hormonal imbalance. 🤷♀️

I want to get a cricut too because yeeessssss.... the things I could make and not have to fussy cut. I always print test sheets before I commit to printing on good paper or sticker paper. Oh yes.. hormone imbalance is part of the equation with weight gain. I personal favorite is when Dr's tell my client's they just need to eat less and move more. Grumble grumble... would love to slap these male docs who have absolutely no freaking clue what menopause is like but they offer us these simple, clear cut solutions...
Thank you. I went through about 10 videos before I found what I needed. I just wanted some to cut out on sticker paper instead of circuit. Everyone wanted to print and cut. This is exactly what I need. Thank you. It was extremely helpful.
I found some amazing flower Clipart on Etsy and I will give it a try, because shipping and import fees are so high. But before I need to get better on my print and cut skills on my shilhouette, because I just hate fuzzy cutting. 😅
Yes! There is some amazing stuff on Etsy and once you import it into Canva, there is so much you can do with it. Canva itself has lots available in there for personal use. I recently received a Cricut as a gift (more on that soon) but I have to make room for it in my office. I am SO excited about being able to make and cut whatever my little heart desires. lol I don't mind fussy cutting as I find it rather cathartic but I am pretty stoked about not having to do it too!
Hahaha go figure you select florals! LMAO! Girlfriend! No scrolling needed... HOT TIP - don't search in photo's search in elements! You get the choice then to search straight for the graphic/clipart versions. That's where the search feature SHINES! And quick tip for avoiding the copy/paste clicks, press "ctrl D" instant copy! I have so many canva hacks to share with you!!! We need to get on zoom again soon! Or, ya know, I have canva tutorials on my list of things to do!

Thanks Erin. I'm definitely not a pro.. but I'm happy to share what I do know and update you as I learn more complex things. Finding free stuff is always good plus, I find it to be a "different" kind of creative. It's almost like it activates a different bit of my brain.
Right? Boxes are easy to make, so we may as well make them at home. Especially, if you have the ability to print and cut. Then, you can make any color you need too!

hi good morning I had a question do you know how to make the corner pieces with the Florals you know how like kel of a plan or live love Posh. or even the long strip stickers that go on the bottom of the page or the sidebar I'm stuck at how to make those?TIA
😁 Yep... that's coming in the next video. You group them together.. You place layers of the florals how you want them and then group them. Drag them into place. It's a bit tricky to explain but I will try to get that video out soon!
Do you have any tips/tricks on how you choose the size for each image or do you have a general rule of thumb depending on what the image is? I would love to know your process on that if you have one!
There is an updated version of this tutorial going live today actually. lol Perfect timing. I sort of touched on that but to expand-- I prefer bigger decor so I size things to be around 2-3 inches high depending on the planner I intend to use it in but I also keep an eye on on the width as I may not want something that it super wide either. Does that make sense? Unfortunately, the Canva app doesn't display the sizing. Not that I have been able to find anyway. So, I always work on my laptop when I'm designing/creating in Canva. II will make a note to cover this more in depth in an upcoming video. I'm adding to the list as you guys make suggestions.. so keep em coming.
@@TheEnchantedPlanner Yes it does. Ive been spending too much time figuring out size because I don't want to waste my resources to just print and see lol. I just jumped on the canva bandwagon after seeing everything you have created, it is amazing! I am use to cricut design space so im working on using canva + cricut print then cut, but of course nothing is that simple lol. Thank you!
I'm glad that made sense. When I make things in canva I tend to always print a test page to verify the size before I go wasting sticker paper. However, I'm getting better at eyeballing things so I have been skipping the test page print at times. I'm so glad I inspired you to get into Canva. The versatility in there is unmatched. lol I Love it. Once you get used to combining canva and cricut, you'll be off and running. It's actually really simple. I find it way easier than DS but I also have not spent much time learning DS.. 🤣🤣 so maybe my opinion doesn't count. 🤣🤣

Next , show how you cut the stickers It’s great to see just how long it takes to make your own stickers so it justifies the cost one is charging for the stickers they sell. I myself don’t have the want or capability to print and cut my own stickers but because of past scrapbooking I understand the time it takes to design … That’s why I try now to support the small shops when getting new stickers. Hello there. 😍 In general - depends on what you want type of product you want to sell. If it was for other creators to download and use to create other designs, png. If it's for planners to download and use- pdf. However, selling stuff found in Canva(or any stock image site) gets into very tricky waters. The terms of Canva specifically state you may not resell, distribute or take credit for any stand alone media. You can't trademark any elements from within Canva either but, that's relevant for logos etc. You can read the full terms of service here bit.ly/3DjWU2w Section 5 & 9 outline the do's and don'ts but I still recommend reading through all of it. It answers loads of questions.
I’m trying to make like a sticker book with the stickers pre cropped in it for my customers …I know how todo sheets but how do I make the sticker book or is it as easy as creating the notebook in GoodNotes?
Hmm... I'm not 100% sure on how they're made but I would bank Jojo and the other's might be making them in Canva and then sending the design off to the printing press place they use. If it were me, I would probably just create the sticker book in canva and then, set the downloads up as a PDF for the people that buy it. If I understand your question correctly: you're asking how to create a multiple page document in Canva and if it's easy? I don't have any experience with GoodNotes but if I was making it in Canva, I would size the doc to say 6x8.5 and add each new page to the one doc. and then download the PDF to sell. Does that make sense?
