Low D1 - 37hertz sung with kargyraa technique. Since my lowest note in normal voice is actually D2, I guess that while my false folds were vibrating the D1, true vocal folds were vibrating at a regular D2(75hertz)

I can do A1 (60hz) up to G4 (431hz) The high range sounds and feels uncomfortable though. I'm pretty comfortable at A1/A2 though!

431 hertz is almost an A4, impressive! I can barely reach D4 but it sounds almost like hard-rock singing, rather than kargyraa. 60 hertz is B1 (with A4 set to 440). I know we all have a low pitch always available, while the super-lows really depends on the day. For me, G#1 is always there, but if I want to go lower I need to warm up. That D1 was a really good day :)

In the description, you said that your lowest note normally is D2, one octave up from the D1 kargyraa. How can you get your kargyraa so low? My lowest modal note is (typically) C2, but I can only (typically) sing down to a G1, MAYBE an F#1 on a good day with kargyraa. Do you have to warm up a bunch before you can go lower? How do you do that?

Yes, warming up definitely helps. I also sing a higher kargyraa for a bit, like above modal D3-F3. After a while I can easily access the lower range!

Hey man, i wanted to learn a "vibration bass" beatboxing sound and came across a video where guy explained the subharmonics and saw your comment on that video and you were wondering how did he do that. Now im sure you can do a "vibration bass" or extremely growly kargyraa so i wonder if you could explain to me how to make that sound. Just search for "beatbox vibration bass", you'll get what i mean. Edit: i can do kargyraa with no problems and sometimes i achieve the 'vibration bass' but im not sure what im doing so i always end up forgetting how do i go that low This is essentially what it is(2:23) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-emcV-PaIozM.html And the vid u commented on(4:55) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qFuQ-UNOWaY.html

Hi! Thank you for commenting. I remember that three years ago I was struggling to understand how to go lower because a friend of mine could, and I couldn't even if we had the same range. So, about your question: the vibration bass you quoted along with the video, as far as I know, is achieved by using false folds AND true folds (kargyraa), AND arythenoid cartilages, which will add low vibrations to the regular throat bass. That's probably where the name "vibration bass" comes from. You need to control your breathing and relax more as you go lower.. it's hard to explain in words but one thing for sure: be careful if you try on your own, (keep hydrated, rest very often) and try to find a good teacher near you. Check out Albert Hera from Italy, he uses a very rumbling kargyraa+arythenoids that can inspire you. Thank you again because I didnt know about the vibration bass, now I do! :-) Good luck!

@@giovannibortoluzzi1384 What’s known as “vibration bass” is simply the second kargyraa subharmonic. There are infinite of them. The third subharmonic, right after vibration bass, is sometimes known as “alien bass”. I don’t think they incorporate any different tissues when activated

@@dsi2867 They don't, you are right. I learned how to use Vibration Bass like a month ago, not kidding, it came in an instant, so much so i started laughing because i was puzzled as to how i enable that technique with my usual Throat Bass (Kargyraa). You don't relax after going into Kargyraa (like i thought), you simply add a little more pressure and boom, the fifth below your octave slips right in. For example a C3 modal voice note, resulting in a C2 with kargyraa will result into an F1 with Vibration Bass (2nd Kargyraa Subharmonic) and the 3rd Subharmonic will result in 1 octave below your first subharmonic, so that would be a C1.
