Another great video,I have a question though,what is your preferred method of checking airflow?I have the exact same manometer you have here but was thinking of picking up the hotwire anemometer as well.Most of the time the equipment data is not available on site and in some rural areas I can't check online.

R410a single stage system. Outdoor temp 84deg indoor temp 77 deg. Suction pressure 171. Line temp 66 deg SH 6deg Head pressure 266. Line temp 70deg. SC 17deg. Txv system 4 ton ac unit with 4 ton uncased evap coil. 3/8 liquid line with inch and 1/8” suction line approx 20’. Can’t figure out why this is happening. Temp split is only 12-14deg at best. Airflow is good. Not sure on static pressure or cfm. Any suggestions?? Any feedback would be great!! I am only asking because I believe you have some of the best educational videos on you tube. Thanks for what you do!! I also have a pic of these readings from measure quick.
What does measureQuick suggest as likely problems? Liquid line temp should be more like 89 deg given OAT of 84 deg). mQ suggestions (flag in upper right corner) may be your best guide.
Another question. How to braze txv and not overheating is? (The tubes from the txv sides is TOO short ) and I have to remove the wet rug in order to be able to melt the rod?
Love the videos. Had a situation r407c with a 62psi low side 185 high side. 8 deg SC. 2 deg SH. Vapor sat was about 38 i believe. But my suction line temp was low. About 39 degrees. I was thinking airflow with the low SH and low suct line temp. Piston on a 4 ton unit. Weird how pressure seemed okay. Any input? Appreciate it!
Why sometimes SC is 0? Liquid line temp following with the saturation temp on the high side while charging. System has a TXV. R410. The only way to adjust the system is using SH method. To get 10 degrees SH. Condenser blowing hot. Good airflow. System works stable.
So low air flow can cause a problem. Can an over-sized unit cause low air flow, say only 12000btu needed but a 24000btu unit is installed? Is it better to be a little under-sized or better to be a little over-sized?
