What are you looking at? is an E-book about how you find inspiration for your photography.
108 pages. 114 pictures. 27 USD / 25 Euro.
If you struggle to find something interesting to photograph, try putting the camera away. Instead, start thinking about what you look at when you are not taking pictures.
I have written this book because I have witnessed many people struggling to find inspiration, as I have in between. But there is a way to find the passion and the inspiration. This is what this book is about.

Thank you for this video. When I do night street photography I feel like a moth. I am attracted to the light. As you suggest, restaurants and stores provide the light the camera needs. Fast glass does help a lot. Using a slower SS can help if the subject isn’t moving very fast. The 1/60 is the slowest SS I will use. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

THANKS FOR SHARING...I Love the low light tips with my 50MM Nikon lens! Quick question: kDo you prefer shooting black and white more thanr color images?

In street photography especially I favour black and white and only when colours are better I go with that. For my professional work I have to switch to colour when it’s the demand. But monochrome is my main focus.

@@MortenAlbekPhotography Good call! I find that monochrome gives our images more contrast and a "movie" type of feel to them, and I hardly ever see our younger camera shooters shoot in black and white..they consider it to be 'OLD SCHOOL" and are strictly working in color; Like you, I have to shoot color when the demand is made by a client or for a photo assignnment; I love seeing the world in black and white or even sepia tone! Thanks again for sharing

Very nice and relaxing pictures to look at!👍 May I ask how you determine white balance in post editing. Do you just go by feeling and adjust the two sliders by looking at the picture or do you have a certain way of setting the white balance? Thank you 🙏

Thank you. I mostly use my eyes to determine the colours and go with the feeling, working with the sliders to adjust in Lightroom. I prefer a warmer tone mostly for colour photos but it all depends on the motive. Sometimes I use the colour picker to test the white when available, but I rarely go with it as it is.
