This tutorial is amazing. Quick, easy to follow, strait to the point. I also appreciate you doing this all within a material/volume so I don't have to edit my projects files to get the same effect like how the other tutorials are telling me to do it. Underrated video, keep up the great work.

Got an idea for a horror game that'll hopefully be my first Unreal game after the "Great Unity Exodus of 2023," This already helps me out sooooooooo much!

Any way to actually render the game in smaller resolution without a post process filter to save up on perfomance?
@UnrealMatter
@UnrealMatter 4 месяца назад
I suppose you can do it by going to Editor Preferences -> Play. And from there changing the window size
@darkestdaysvideogame

@@UnrealMatter Hmm, maybe I should've explained it a bit better, for example Lethal Company renders at way lower resolution then stretches it onto whatever resolution player sets, therefore effect is pretty much the same but it saves performance as well instead of it being just a post process filter.

@@darkestdaysvideogame Yeah, I've understood what you've said but I never done that so yeah, maybe it is the wrong way. After a bit of searching the internet I found a forum article that is about this topic. Maybe you will find your answer there: forums.unrealengine.com/t/how-to-set-resolution-of-packaged-game/18950/15

It is 1+Left Click at the same time. If it doesn't work you can search for scalar parameter :)

@@UnrealMatter ok thank you so much for the quick answer, key+left click didn't work so I searched for the scalar parameter.
