That feeling when your low, frantically searching and watch your mate climbs out above you. Feeling happy that he got the climb but also full of envy. Another ripper of a climb Tim , locked in from the first turn.
@@larsbojohansen5117 Sadly not regularly. This was my third in the UK since my first 100km flight back in 2011. Here are some stats that Kirsty Cameron has compiled (NB. they don't include Friday's flights yet, and from this weekend just gone. I think there are another 5 or 6) - xcleague.com/xc/info/200club.html (2015 was a good year and was when I did my first 200kms on my Sigma 9)
Epic! Can't imagine a worse feeling for the Zeno 2 pilot🤣I once got a low save in a comp from about 40 meters, could hear a guy shouting FUCCCCCK below me as he landed 😂
Wonderful flight😍 Epic low save👌 I wasn't this lucky yesterday unfortunatly, But hey, I got to ride the bus back, Which was at least 25 years ago i last rode it😂 Adventures🤗
Was stuck stood on harting, unable to launch due to conditions, looking up in EXTREEM envy at you and quite a few others flying passed from so far away. 😭😭😭😭 Nicely saved tim!
Big lowsafe to make a Pilot happy 😀 . I love your flights in the flathland more than the big mountains. You have also wonderful landscape. @home ist more difficult to fly in the flathland because the alps behind sucks. But ist also my Inspiration to fly to my hometown from the homemountain straight ahead 50km.
Tim, did I saw right, that when you were flying through the sinking air, that you didn´t use the accelerator? When I fly with the OXA3 through sinking air, I would use 50% acceleration. What do you prefer, and why?
Good observation, but when you’ve got 20-22kph of tail wind you’ve actually got to be sinking pretty fast before using the accelerator improves your glide ratio. I don’t know my glider’s exact polar but I do test the bar and see what its effect on GR is. Obviously sometimes I just fail to react which could have happened 😂
Im wasting all my time watching your videos.wich are so good as the ones from the german guy Marlon Jonat. Thanks again im definitly fan! Grettings from Bordeaux
Haha, I’m happy that you’re enjoying them 👍🏻👍🏻 I haven’t come across his videos - I’ll look him up.! I am skiing in France with my family at the moment - Flaine - very close to where I’ve flown past on various Gumball trips
If you mean Greg he was lower than me and only caught the dregs of it - he was able to glide a couple of kms further. If you do mean Ben, then he bust 4500ft airspace and decided to land in Petersfield for an easy retrieve.
