Great News about Visa extensions,by extending it to 60 days and you make full use of those 60 days,I actually think it will give you a better perspective to the individual with regards making a permanent move over to Thailand as the longer you stay will give you a real feeling as to whether making that BIG move is what you really want,in my opinion

GOOD. it sounds like low season is back to normal and being low season. will hopefully damage those business models which have been reliant on unrealistic prices as well
You two have both got such lovely accents. Webby; I lived abroad for 19 years and so I know how it makes you feel when others come, only to go home again and you just know you'd make such good friends were you both living in the same place. That's when you truly feel lonely. When you're away from home and realise the biggest danger to making it abroad is being forced to make friends with expat Bar Arseholes and their shite. The types that were you back home you'd cross the street to avoid bumping into but you don't out of feeling so isolated. Even the excited but good ones, there for perhaps the first time, arriving full of beans and excitement, wanting to go to the girlie bars with you the first night they're there, when you did all that ages ago and then, even they assure you that it won't cost you anything the whole night. They feel so let down and can't understand why you might not want to hold their hands and get pissed along with the 'party' that now, if/when you know that if you want to stay there 'longtime' you know you have to find something else...

As you said its LOW SEASON mate its never been any different and if you have ever lived here between Songkran and November which i have for many years thats the way it is fortunately or unfortunately depending if your a business owner or not

@@welshboywebby mate there’s a Thai lady owns a bar at rompho forget the name of it she used to have the 1st one on the right owned it for years sold up and now she is back owns the 1 next door she would be an excellent interview great English and great stories think she lived in Denmark or Norway for years aswell
