He pivots of his elbow, this helps him recenter his mouse very quickly as well as apply different amounts of pressure to further increase/decrease control as required. Most important pro for this type of aim besides consistency and control is the fact that this will FORCE you to play extremely cerebral and efficient. If you are not continuously thinking about where to place your crosshair next, you will fall short. The best players aim as little as possible.

i'm at 800 dpi 0.58, so a bit under him. And forerarm aim for me at this sensivity is pretty natural, and mainly give you the advantage to flick with great accuracy and only the hand for tiny crosshair ajustment or flicks. So you can make for example a huge flick like a 180 with the forearm and ajust instantly with the hand. Using the forearm plus the hand make muscle memory learning faster. Because as i said muscle move like big flick are always done with the forearm and tiny ones with the hand. Muscle memory is shared to two part of the body. Instead of one doing all the learnings Only diffence for me is that my arm isn’t straight and is kinda turned to the left which make for the arm a more natural position and more comfortable. Weakness of that sens : on aim maps that sens can get you tired pretty fast. In matchmaking no problem except if you are starting to play with that sens.

It's crazy how opposite in terms of mechanics s1mple and NiKo are, yet they still manage to be practically equal when it comes to efficiency. I always thought s1mple being the best player in CS' history using 3.09 sens was like the craziest thing in the world, but, even though I knew NiKo had an arm aiming playing style, I had never seen it in action until now (I've also never looked for it before)... and it really does look amazing. It's awesome to have these two titans in the competitive scene.

i used to play cs with a sens of 1 lower than what niko is using. It helps my shaky aim by a lot and with practice you can really memorize your flicks effectively but it makes me too focused and emotional in the game( ez rage) . Now i play on 800 dpi and sens of 2 a high sens requires calmness which helps prevent my raging issues.

Ive been aiming using my arm for nearly a year now and i can say as a problem here you need a big desk and a huge square mouse pad, try your best to give a good position to your body and have a high hz for good wiffing and flicks. One problem for me as an arm aimer is the desk, make sure your desk can fit your whole arm from wrist to elbow. Thats all

Hi Rambo, love your chanel. One question. Forearm and low sens give me huge confidence in cs go. But I also play multiple games like overwatch and apex legends. In those games you need to have a good vertical aim as well, which is hard with low sens. I am also worried about my wrist health in all that. So my question: can I play other fps games with all different sens or I shouldn't, cause it will affect my muscle memory? I mean cs go with 1.4 sens but then overwatch with a higher sens like around 3 compared to cs. It bothers me. I am playing since quake 3, in cs go I played with sens so much, that I became inconsistent and on my faceit elo you can't be inconsistent. You chanel helps me to get on track.
@RonRamboKim

Ive been using 1.4 400 for ages. Never knew a pro would use such a low sens. However i dont have my full forearm on my desk as my chair gets in the way.

few questions: is this method of elbow on the table used by the majority of pros with a low sens? i tried this method and i feel like i have too much friction between my forearm and the desk/mousepad, how could i reduce this friction (besides wearing something with long sleeves)? why do most pros use a low DPI higher ingame sens rather than high DPI low ingame sens?

Hey man I’ve got a question. I have a bit more than 2k hours on csgo and my aim is decent. I wanted to ask if it’s too late to try out a new sens or Should I just stick to this one and prefect it ? Thanks
@RonRamboKim
@RonRamboKim 4 года назад
I don't think its ever too late to try a new sensitivity, but it can be dangerous because you lose your muscle memory with your current sens
@abyss1997
@abyss1997 3 года назад
Never too late, will just take a few weeks or months to subconsciously learn that musclr memory back, so if your Willing to do that then go for it
@KryptcTV

I aim like this and I’ve been trying to improve my consistency with it. Sometimes my elbow placement isn’t the same and throws me off but it’s harder because I have long arms and my desk isn’t big enough. Once I get a longer desk I think it will be easier. 800 dpi .093 sens 1000hz polling rate 4:3 1024x768

Idk if anyone notice like if he is close to a left wall his mouse will be on the left end of mousepad as he doesn't need to aim more left , and vise versa . Automatically increadible muscle memory.

@dame_rush
@dame_rush 4 года назад
Is his elbow anchored? With full mouse pad swipe and locked elbow the crosshair would move in an oval /circular way. So is that avoided by moving elbow too? (to keep crosshair moving on a straight line) or just corrected with wrist?
@JTheraos
@JTheraos Год назад
You do realize that your mouse moves in a perfectly straight line with swiping left to right, even if you mouse appears to be making a half circle shape. Literally just think about what the sensor is doing. It is simply moving left to right/right to left, even with your hand making a half moon shape. Just do 30 seconds of testing and you'll find you don't have to have your move move in a perfectly horizontal line to move the crosshair in a straight line. You are likely wayyyy overthrowing how you aim because of this incorrect understanding of how a mouse works.
