Hi Jojoza. Thank you for the heads up and for all your wonderful nuggets of information. I love it. My 2cents on the last book with lots of black....maybe some metallic gel pens or those pencil crayons that are designed to colour on black paper. I look forward to seeing what you do. Take care.
For pages with lots of black you can use cheaper glitter/metallic watercolours, which will still show the black, but also the colour. Same with regular cheap watercolour due to the chalkyness.
Sistah! I, too, am a huge non-fan of duplicate pages and think it’s just laziness on the part of the artist or publisher to get to the minimum of 25 pages to publish a book. So even though I absolutely love love love RJ Hampson’s art and could color those images all day every day, I won’t buy a book that has doubles. I would pay more for a 25 page book of all unique images. And I feel the same about LuLu Mayo! She might be one of my fav artists but daaaaaaang that paper is AWFUL. I can’t find any medium I enjoy using that works well. I’ve got the Kawaii Tarot book coming so hopefully that paper is an improvement. Your haul is awesome. Loved the super fluffy lady picture lol

I have a few of these books! There are also a few that I would like to get. The fashion book is awesome! It has a designer in there that I absolutely love ❤️ Erte!!!! That is a super fun rabbit hole FYI! Fun Grayscale collection. Have fun with all of those.
Fun stuff! Just FYI this lifestyle Grayscale books are definitely AI generated. One major tell is the messed up hands with all the extra fingers and even some whole extra arms.
It's too bad about the Life Grayscale Press coloring books. I love this style of art so much and was ready to purchase some of them when I saw they'd been pulled from Amazon.
@@JojozaHannaHawaii We don't know for sure the reason they were pulled. Could be AI generated (but so are a ton of other coloring books on Amazon). I'm not sure what Amazon's policy is about this. Also, they sometimes pull coloring books from artists unfairly (like what happened to Jade Summer) so I don't make assumptions anymore.
Thank you for the mention of my Insta page ❤, I hope you enjoy the Astrology book (I think I have the Tarot one too but haven’t coloured it yet 🙄) I also have the Alexis Thomson book which has beautiful images - I share the fascination for tarot and astrology themed art too. You’ve picked up a great selection of styles there….the last few do appear to be AI to me - it’s hard to define but there’s often a feeling they create in me! While I enjoy the concepts and ideas it’s the execution that lets some of it down (extra fingers and limbs or missing parts 😂 how does the human creator not see that before printing?). It is certainly becoming a big player in the colouring book market….

@@JojozaHannaHawaii that’s interesting to read….someone else mentioned to me about books being pulled from Amazon but I didn’t know which company. This is going to be a tricky subject I feel! I really appreciate your zodiac/tarot hashtag because it’s prompting me to keep working in some books that I’ve had a while but get “forgotten” about despite loving them (the inevitable that happens with an increasing book collection 🤪)
Great haul! The markers look interesting, and the smaller goth books looks great because smaller and lots of black, you see, when I don’t know what to do with a page, I add black! ❤

OMGosh~! I just bought a tarot deck too! I have a few coloring books as well and was curious. I bought a Supernatural deck because that tv show means a lot to me. Must be something in the air this month. I did zero coloring (besides swatching the Black Widows I got for Christmas!) and too much buying. Hope your shoulder continues to heal.
Tarot is very closely associated with witchcraft! I've seen some of the tarot coloring books and they're not putting the witchcraft in your face exactly because some of it is cute little characters on the coloring pages but they do put other things that fall under the witchcraft subject subtly on the pages. For example, a cauldron or spell book. But they make it cutesy so it's not very obvious. Tarot is very closely related to witchcraft, just as much as a quija board. That's why I won't even consider buying even the cutesy tarot coloring books, such as the A Million Cute Things tarot coloring book. My advice would be to never bring anything like that into your home! And I'm not just being dramatic, I have personal experience with this type of thing and trust me, it's not something that you wanna mess with! Did you not see the satanic/demonic images in that tarot coloring book that you showed??! I would burn those books!!! There wasn't anything wrong with the moon one but I would suggest you get rid of the tarot coloring book for sure! I'd either send it back and exchange for something else or burn it, but honestly I would burn it
@@JojozaHannaHawaii I respect your choice to do that, I'm not trying to be bossy or tell you what to do, but I just had to warn you because I would never want anyone to go through what me and my family experienced! It's a lot easier to allow them in than to get rid of them! And by "them" I mean demons/demonic entities. They need permission to come in, but it doesn't take much to give that permission. Just opening ourselves up to it, that's all the permission they need. And it may seem fun and innocent at first, maybe even friendly, but you'd be very surprised to see how fast it can go from friendly to wreaking havoc in your life and wrecking your life. Like I said, I never want to tell someone else what to do, but I just wanted to warn you so that you know what you could be getting yourself in to and you're not blindsided
