This is a new aqauscape done in my 60 cm low iron glass tank. Again and as always its a low tech no co2 setup. this time i have used some plants that are said to be in medium category which means its suggested to use them in co2 injected tank but i tried them in non co2 setup with good survival rate and lush growth not as fast and as dense as co2 injected but still i am satisfied. i shall keep posting videos of this tank as it progresses.

Wow thanks for the beautiful video!, just did mine yesterday and currently cycling, how did you manage to put the fish inside the next day?
@nature_scape
@nature_scape 9 месяцев назад
Thankyou 🙏 Actually the filter as well as soil was cycled (directly used from previous running scape) so was able to add fishes right away as there were ample of beneficial bacteria present to overcome the fish load

Wonderful! no wonder than :) Does bio media help in speeding the cycle ?@@nature_scape

new bio media i mean like matrix from seachem@@nature_scape
@nature_scape
@nature_scape 9 месяцев назад
Yes bio media is good for keeping a stable population of beneficial bacteria but initially you need to cycle for the bacteria propagation. If you use those startup kits it might be speeding up the process but frankly I have never used them so I don’t have any experience about them.

This a beautiful tank, just wondering if you have problems with seyru stone, I used it a month ago for first time and I had nightmares with the pH
@nature_scape
@nature_scape Год назад
Thankyou 🙏 I have not used much seiryu stones compared to the volume of the tank plus the water I use is RO which I don’t remineralise so I have not faced much of a problem… pls check your water parameters if you are using tap water as if your water will be hard and if lots of seiryu is being used than I guess you might be ending up with too high ph

Amazing job, would love to have an aquarium like this. Do you use a heater ? What is the temperature of the water??
@nature_scape
@nature_scape Год назад
Thankyou 🙏 No I never need to use heater as we don’t get that cold winters instead I need to use air condition almost half the year to keep the water cool and my temps are maintained between 24 to 26 degree Celsius

sir whenever I add fish food in aquarium, after sometime the food goes to bottom and I can't see it because of the rocks, so will the fish be able to eat this in between stones? My stones are small in size and there are alot of it, I dont think so that the fish can push the tiny stone and eat the food. so what to do? should I removed these stones and replace it with something else? please any suggestion???
@nature_scape
@nature_scape Год назад
I would say just feed the amount which the fishes eat before it sinks. Plus some times the fishes may be able to eat the food between the rocks but the remaining accumulated food will rot and will be a problem in long run.

I’ve never been able to avoid algae on wood which requires removing and scrubbing. Guess light water and nutrients all add up to algae. No escaping.
@nature_scape
@nature_scape Год назад
Yes some or the other place in a planted tank definitely gets algae and it needs to be removed manually in most of the cases, but still we can try and keep up with water changes and maintenance to keep it to minimum… some algae here and there is definitely a normal thing in any planted tank…
