What I did for my substrate is I got sone dirt from my backyard during the winnter so the ground was moist I filtered it out and mixed it with sand my plants are thriving in it but you just have to make sure to cover all of it with sand or your tank will be gross

That's a great idea! I've seen it done on a few other videos. I found that I dont really like using aqua soil. So maybe natural soil is the way to go! Thank you for the tip.

Sorry dude, i dont think that pleco is a good species for your tank. I didn't get the best look, but the best species for that tank size would be a bristlenose pleco. Danios also need larger tanks, 20 gal. :'D your shoals simply aren't large enough. The bare minimum for shoaling species would be 6 of 1 species. No hate! Other than that these tanks look p great!

Thank you!! I wanted to get these tanks uploaded how they were since it took so many weeks to film. All these fish are going in the 55 gallon tank shown in the video. Going to be filming the process of that build and updating on the fish and shrimp situations!
