Right! I'm not gonna lie and say I wasn't eyeing those high quality pieces, but first off there is plenty of charm in the 'low quality' versions and the cost of some of those isn't by any means affordable. If you're not rich and you want!! -you need to save your money up and every now and then..if at all. I loved the little raw kunzite.
I don’t think she’s knocking lower quality crystals, just showing off gem quality crystals compared to what we’re used to seeing. The pieces she’s showing can cost more than what people make in a year, this gem show has pieces worth over $20,000 I believe.
I feel the same way about diamonds too. Since all people do with it is just to look at it and nothing else does it really matter if it's genuine or not?
That high quality Fluorite is actually a very expensive aquamarine found in Ukraine and some people are debating if they should keep it that way or make it into a diamond shape 💎
@@Astronatcreates it is 100 percent not flourite, it has a hexagonal crystal structure, flourite is in the cubic crystal system. And when you've been around aquamarine for so many years you know straight away what you're looking at.
@@Astronatcreates cheers. I hope some how you can see it for what it is but if not no big deal!. I do have 54 people who agree with me though haha.. Cheers mate.
@@raffaelepiccini3405fun part is some collectors actually actively search for the ones that got inclusions bc they find those cool. There are some types of inclusions in rocks that make them really valuable. Such as water bubble in the quartz or when the inclusion is shaped interestingly. That’s why it’s literally pointless to call something low quality while the other is high quality.
I don't care if crystals are looking great, I Just want to have them on my list. And sometimes the "quality" is hidden under microscope or geiger counter
This is a gatekeeping scam culture behind crystals. A crystal is a crystal. I personal though the "low value" amethyst was way prettier than that spherical witches globe that looked like it was made in china.
You cannot tell me the higher quality ones weren’t a lot better looking though. Even if I didn’t know the price, I’d be enamoured by the second option.
Quality doesn't matter if it makes you happy! I collect those dyed rocks, not because i think they're crystals, but because the velvet bags that are heavy with things i like make me happy! Dont worry about quality, enjoy the crystals 😊
Pretty much what I said....if I'm happy with what I have...nothing wrong with appreciation for what I do have....to me, it's beautiful and that's what matters..!
I like gems and stones, but when I see those mountains of stones it makes me sad, that everything on earth is consumed and destroyed until there is no healthy rest of it anymore.
bro youre so deep and one with nature oh wait...were all here by using phones and computers that we bought which were produced by shit being pulled out of the ground with cheap labor. you almost had me for a second
@@ICANTCHOOSEARIThey usually rank them using a system called the 4Cs Colour Clarity Cut Carat (Weight) Basically if a gemstone has a vibrant colour, is free of any impurities, has been cut and polished properly and is very heavy then it qualifies as a high quality gemstone. However this doesn’t mean that low quality gemstones are bad in any way, I have plenty of cheap necklaces with low quality gemstones yet I love them, the system is mainly there to compare gemstones and how well they were made, rather than how pretty or beautiful they are.
star rose quartz is a thing! it may not be regular quartz but its much more special and expensive. the highest quality. star crystals/gems are stunning
Have you seen a ghost crystal, or find a crystal city? And to watch them heal themselves, amazing! But they are a pain in the butt, and I could never get the things to stop growing in the yard.
A crystal or crystalline solid is a solid material whose constituents (such as atoms, molecules, or ions) are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all directions. In addition, macroscopic single crystals are usually identifiable by their geometrical shape, consisting of flat faces with specific, characteristic orientations. Why do geometric formations in minerals make you think they have "magic healing properties"? Stop acting of a fool, and realize that you are falling for a placebo effect. Placebos are also popular because they can sometimes produce relief through psychological mechanisms (phenomenon known as "placebo effect"). They can affect how patients perceive their condition and encourage the body's chemical processes for relieving pain and a few other symptoms, but have no impact on the disease itself. It is not the crystal that is doing anything.@@queenjinnie
@@nielovescats rose quartz doesn’t look completely transparent like that (rather translucent) unless it’s exposed to too much light due to its photosensitive nature, but at a show like this where they’d likely take good care of it, it wouldn’t look this faded. I’m pretty sure it’s not rose quartz. It definitely isn’t pink quartz though since pink quartz almost never grows crystals over an inch or two.
Energetically, they’re all the same. This is why crystals have become exponentially more expensive. They’ve gentrified something that could’ve been fun and possibly beneficial into a Beauty pageant. If you need it, buy “low quality”. No shame in that.
They probably aren’t the same since different impurities change the quality, but the way the video was comparing seems like they’re saying the difference comes from whether they’re polished or not, which is stupid. They have no benefits other than quartz crystals being used in vital electronics or calcite and aragonite being super important to the ocean, but they have no “energy” unless they’re something like mercury(II) fulminate crystals 😂
Low quality does not mean worthless or less effective. Dont get caught up in the consumerism of it all. If you like your crystals, there’s no reason to change that.
Technically it’s the same crystal with different impurities. Still, Star quartz isn’t the same as rose quartz 😂 It’s basically like how rubies and sapphires are both the same crystal with different impurities
Ok, I'm a collector, I've been collecting for three years This was my body's reaction to this video, in words humans can understand AAAAHHHH MY GOD I LOVE ROSE, I LOVE OPAL, THE FUCK??? AMYTHIST CAN FORM LIKE THAT I WANT THE GEMMY AMYTHIST GIVE IT I WANT THE LABRADORITE F U C K
You weren't totally accurate. Especially with the Amethyst. Lol 😂. As a gem cutter/cabs maker. Especially w/ considered the rarest gendtone in the world Australian precious opal and crystal collector. Did you know any crystal with its matrix attached to it makes it worth more. Like the green at the bottom of your so called low quality Amethyst. But its not all about how it looks, its how much time, effort and definitely has to do with knowing the methods of polishing your low or high quality perse crystals. So if you have a single specimen or a bunch of it. It all depends on how much bulk you can get out and sell. People buy for many reasons as well. Because if its one thing you will never know about a stone. You don't know what you have until your done working with it. If it works out in the end , because some stone's are more delicate then other's. People, dont take this woman's complete advise here. In all reality. Some of what your low quality stones are sold as is unpolished for more money. Or just untouched lets say. So that it can he worked with specifically for reiki practices and other types of energetic work. Most of these stones that are low quality. Might be in your watches, definitely in your phones, even your touch screen is liquid melted crystal. In order for it to sense your heat just like a conductor would. Or you would. Lady, gets your facts straight and your shorts aren't worth the b.s.. i would go far as to say that whomever told you this was trying to make more money. Or paying you to say it. Have a nice day everyone. And don't believe everything someone tells you on a short. Because if your not thinking for yourself or doing your own research like i have. Your just abother sheep 🐑 following her pack of lies. Later everyone 😊✌️❤
I’m seeing a pattern that low quality crystals are milky probably containing diff mineral meshes and inclusions while high quality is clear polish with barely any fractures
It is just a matter of perspective. Some "low quality" gems feel amazing to me, and some "high quality" feel not. Let our eyes and souls choose, not some pre defined grades.
Crystals are not not really divided into "low quality" and "high quality". When a mineral have "low quality" it just mean it has other type of minerals mixed in. The quality concept is a human concept created to increase the monetary value of crystals.
Hey. Sometimes that quality can be important. What if I’m a company specializing in making diamond tipped saws and I get a bunch of crappy, low quality diamonds with impurities that make them more brittle?
Sì, i cristalli di alta qualità sono molto belli, ma a volte dobbiamo accontentarci di una bassa qualità perché le alte qualità costano troppo. E poi, spesso, i cristalli di "bassa qualità" hanno più personalità (imho)
For me, the quality of a crystal doesn’t come from the grade of crystal, it depends on how ethically it was sourced. If the crystal comes from a very dangerous mine over seas, I don’t think it’s right to but it. If the crystal came from some old man’s back yard, I suppose that’s fine. Pawpaw doesn’t give a damn about rocks. Also, on that same note, crystals illegally mined in Native land do NOT count as ethical sourcing. Always purchase directly from the native communities in question if possible.
That amethyst terminated heart was not low quality, what you should be saying is "this is a specimen sample and this is a Jeweler sample". All the high clarity, mostly inclusion free samples would be used for faceting stones.
