@@joshuamains6405 yes i have narrow feet and theyre still narrow, but there are wide version, i personaly went with normal size, but a number up and wear merino wool socks

The biggest issue I had with this boots is that it's slippery on nearly every type of urban ground while it's wet. Going from the outside when it's raining and clearing some house with lino floor, you are done so. I had to return my Lowas bcs of this.

Wearing a lighter version of the same boots for 7 years now (last year and a half 6 days a week for work). Lots of rocks, hiking and walking. Still no issue apart from the sole knobs wearing down to the base a few months ago. Definitely will replace with the same boot.

In the last year, I bought two pairs of the OTB brand. One was the Junglelite Sage, which is AR670-1 compliant. The other is the Junglelite (Black) side-zip. Since the OTB brand is defunct, I got a couple pairs of GREAT boots at criminally low closeout prices (under $80). This brand has been on-again, off-again for about 10 years and I hope that they can make another comeback, assuming that military draw-down from our strategic disengagement from the 'forever wars' doesn't interfere. Oh, I almost forgot... They feel awesome even after wearing them & walking/standing all day, they have held up like steel, and I would put them up against any big-brand $350 boot!

@@GunsandTactics Sure was! Not just once but TWICE! (If I remember correctly, the Sage green pair was actually $69 and the black pair was $89, so it works out on an average. I was very lucky!

I wear a 12 in running shoes but an 11.5 in ariat boots, merrels and my timberland work boots. What size would you guys advice to go with?

I will definitely agree with the sole wearing fast on these boots. I had recently purchased a pair, and the sole started chipping away after a week and a half of field use. I read that they purposely use a softer rubber to make them more "stealthy", but the fact that they wear so quickly is unacceptable for a boot at this price point. Luckily, lowas warranty is great and they sent me a brand new pair. Other than that, these boots are super comfortable, and surprisingly breathable for a gore-tex boot! Hopefully lowa changes the rubber compound or just uses vibram soles like they do in their other TF series boots.

They’re light, feel cheap, and look like the glue on the rubber parts was going to fail. But they are really good! The insole did kind of come apart. They’re soft and make for a good jump boot (at least for static line.)

leg here, wouldn’t know, but yes and all fronts, wouldn’t say it feels cheap tho but thats subjective.

I bought more cushioned insoles as I thought they felt a bit thin in the sole. Otherwise they're flawless.

They are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. BUT they're too fragile for the price. If you're a quick reaction force such as SWAT they might do you well. If you're a 24/7/365 grunt like I was, there are better options as far as balancing comfort and durability.

They don't supply the German and British armies, police and contractors preference for nothing. I would say only Altberg, Aku, Haix and Meindl are comparable. They're also still made in Europe.
